My grandmother and I went to check this place out and we weren't impressed at all. The food was bland, sloppy, and overdone. They pay more attention to the desserts than the actual entrees. And on top of all that the food was expensive. So overall the food was not worth a single penny. We regret ever going to this place. A hidden jewel! Had a nice experience, really good pizza and a tasty arnold palmer. Was looking for a place to grab a quick meal with my infant. I stumbled on to this spot and intend to be back often! I had their whole wheat margarita pizza and it was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I've had better pizza before. the sauce is good (a little to much oregano either in the sauce or as a topper after cooking) the crust left a little to be desired (honestly think it was just a little old) seemed a little flat and doughy and even after a reheat it was very limp.(even for a ny style of pie) All in all it kept me from starving and if I was in the area again I would give them one more try . If I could put zero stars I would. Worst service I've ever received. My family and I used to order from here all the time and never had any problems until I recently moved. First time I ordered from them after my move they delivered my food to someone else and I ended up waiting 3 hours to get my food, they did nothing to make this right. The next time I order from them, or should I say try to order from them, they suddenly say they don't deliver to me. Confused I explain how they've delivered to me in the past and the so called "manager" I spoke with told me I couldn't possibly be telling the truth and that they wouldn't bring me my food. I cancelled my order and went to the restaurant the next day to speak to the owner. The owner, Cassia, was very rude and acted like she could care less and that I was wasting her time. At the end of the discussion she actually said to me "are we done, because I have guests waiting on me?" When I told her I wouldn't be a customer anymore she told me she didn't care. I love the thin crust because I can actually have two or three slices of pizza instead of getting filled up on one with a big thick crust. My husband and I had been loyal customers since moving nearby 4 years ago. In the past we ordered from Pizzarella once a week on average. However, it seems like the service has been declining lately. A couple of times the delivery arrived with the pizza being room-temperature, at best. Well, tonight was the last straw. Twenty minutes after the promised wait time, my husband called to check on our order and the manager stated that they were busier than usual but our pizza "just went out for delivery" and should be arriving any moment (we literally live a couple of blocks away). Imagine our disappointment when our order arrives 10 minutes later (that's 30 minutes after promised for a total wait time of 1 hour and 25 minutes) and both the pizza and garlic bread were COLD. We expressed our concern to the delivery man who stated we should call the manager because he came to our address first. Once getting the manager on the phone and expressing our disappointment she stated that she could take 10% off our next order. Really?!?! 10%!!! Given the fact that our order was nearly $30, a discount of 10% off would barely cover the delivery fee! We reminded her that we have ordered hundreds of pizzas from them and we're loyal customers and we are disappointed with the recent service. She once again stated that a discount of 10% for the cold pizza we waited 1 hour and 25 minutes for was "the best" that she could do. In my opinion, if your looking for a local pizza place you can choose far better. We use to go with Pizzarella because they were close by and quick but if I'm going to have to wait over an hour and receive poor quality, I'd rather take my business elsewhere. read more

Pizzarella is a nice, inexpensive neighborhood Italian place. We're a fan of the garlic rolls here, and you'll do all right with a pizza or a lasagna. It's not a fancy place nor is the pasta sublime, but we're fans at the price. If you go from 3 p.m.-6 p.m., you can hit up the early bird special, which is buy one entree and get the other for $.99 with sodas. That right there definitely helps the budget.
