I've only tried the Chili Chicken Pizza and the Eggplant one but both were delicious, fresh, inventive, and full of flavor!! I also tried the veggie puffs which had an amazing pastry like crush and ground veggies and seasonings inside. Very good. I love Indian food and I love pizza... who would have thought this would be the perfect combination! Hopefully they can expand and get a bigger dining area. Definitely good for take-out. read more

You guys need to expand a bit on your indian cuisine, the butter chicken pizza is ok, but has no right to call itself butter chicken. That is not anything the average cook couldnt make at their house! I very easily could beat that at home. Try their pizzas even if you're one of those people who claim to not be big on curry- even though the word curry can mean so many different types of flavor combinations that I never understood that blanket statement. Ordered Vegetable Makhani pizza & Potato Wedges. The potato wedges were uncooked & raw. The pizza was okay. My dad took a couple pieces to work & saw a hole in the crust (which happens when cooking it). When he looked inside the hole, there was a dead fly....cooked into the pizza. I get it's summer time but this makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Unfortunately he didn't take a picture, but based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend. read more

I really love the concept - a cool twist on pizza. We've ordered from here twice now and have sampled the butter chicken, tikka chicken and garlic chicken pizzas. Overall the flavors are pretty good, with the butter chicken being the best in my opinion. However the butter chicken first time was very different than the second time, so consistency may be in issue. The tikka chicken pizza seemed a bit dry, very little sauce but what was on it had great flavor. In comparison, the garlic chicken has a ton of sauce but not as much flavor. The crust is where they lose me. It's just dry, flat and bland. To me, crust should be fluffy and flavorful. They do seem to take a lot of time with presentation as all of my pizzas looked perfect. read more

I was always of jealous of those hybrid pizza places always mentioned in American city drama shows or even Japanese dramas. This place knows what toppings work together to perfection. Small shop with about 4 tables that seat 4. Came here pretty late on a Friday night ~9pm (they close at 10pm). We arrived and the lady there was really nice about everything. We ordered two large (14") chicken pizzas ($14 each) and they were ready in about 15 minutes, and we were finished eating and out by 10pm! Fast, excellent service. We got the chicken tikka pizza, which contains tikka chicken and sauce with cheese, onions, green peppers, cilantro, etc. We also got the Methi pizza which is a spinach based sauce with chicken, cheese, onions, and red pepper. Tikka - My favorite. It was very well spiced and flavored. I'm not a big fan of crusts, but the crust didn't overpower the spices and the overall flavor of the pizza. Methi - not bad, but tikka was definitely more flavorful and had a better well rounded flavor to it. You could really taste the cumin they added to the chicken on this! Water here costs a dollar a bottle. Splitting a pizza (i.e. Half chicken tikka half something else) costs an extra dollar. I'm definitely coming back. I've already recommended this place to friends, and it hasn't even been a day since I had my meal here! Next time I'll probably try the chili chicken pizza and some of the Masala potato wedges... If there's one thing they could improve on, it would be looking to expand their menu. I can see myself getting tired of this place quickly if they limit themselves to the select few chicken options they have. (I did notice that two of the chicken options were the same, except one had garlic listed separately in the ingredients and one didn't...despite the fact that they still both listed "garlic and herbs." read more

PEANUT ALLERGY WARNING! Pizza was great accept i couldn't enjoy it due to my 2 year old having an allergic reaction bc he's allergic to peanuts and these banchods put cashews in their pizza sauce! I didn't mind over paying by paying $28 for 1 pizza and 4 bread but spending the rest of the night at the emergency room kinda pushed it. How about a damn warning on your website or on your menu. And then i called to ask what's in it and the guys accent was so bad i literally had to ask him 29 times what do you mean. Honestly I'll stick to Sammy's down the Road. Good pizza but not worth the overprice and also I'd like someone who can at least speak one of the 3 languages i speak to warn me that there is peanuts in the pizza. Curry on Crust is a refreshing change in the pizza world. I'm not a big fan of pizza to be honest, but this would be the place I would go to for the occasional pizza night. The pizza here was great! One thing I really dislike about pizza places is when they are dripping with grease. Compared to your average dominoes, pizza hut, jet's etc etc...it was better in my opinion, less greasy. There was also just the right amount of cheese, and plenty of toppings. The crust was average. It is significantly pricier, we ordered two large pizzas and our total was ~28 dollars. The best part about curry on crust is the fusion of indian food and pizza of course. The two pizzas we ordered were the Butter Chicken PIzza and the spicy veggie treat pizza. As soon as I walked in to pick up the pizza, I could tell that this truly is indian pizza by the strong aroma of curry. (warning, keeping this pizza in your car for 15 minutes will lead to your car smelling like curry for at least 15 hours) Both pizzas we got were very good. The spices were definitely indian. Out of the two I got I actually preferred the spicy veggie treat, it definitely had a lot more flavor than your ordinary pizza place. The butter chicken pizza was great as well, much better than pizza with chicken from other places as those are bland in comparison to the indian spices. What I liked was the balance between pizza and indian taste, the spices weren't over powering and there was just the right amount. I didn't give this 5 stars because only places I could go to all the time would get 5 stars, and it's a pizza place. Can't get 5 stars since I'm not a true pizza lover. Also I have yet to determine the consistency of quality at this place, first experience was good though! Overall I would definitely recommend this place if you are wanting to try pizza, but are sick of other typical pizza places. read more

I have been eating Indian pizza when I visit San Francisco for the last 15 years, so I was excited to find out about Curry on Crust opening near me in Canton. The Indian pizza choices in SF were either vegetarian or chicken, and that's it; 2 choices only. Curry on Crust has 25 different pizzas to choose from, plus the option to build your own. They are also a bit cheaper here as well. I have tried a #8, #13, #21 and #23, and they were all excellent. If you like Indian spices, you will like this pizza. I wish they offered whole wheat crust and were open later like a regular pizza joint, but those are my only complaints. Beware that they are closed on Mondays. This is a very unique place, and quite a treat to have it right here in metro Detroit. I will definitely be bringing out of town vistiors here for something they won't be able to get back home... read more

Yum! What a great idea, combining my loves of pizza AND palak paneer. The crust was buttery and crispy, while not being too thick but not being floppy. The paneer had a little bit of char on it from the oven and was absolutely delish. I added mushrooms, since its my favorite pizza topping and had to restrain myself from devouring the whole thing. I also ordered the masala potatoes which were very undercooked, unfortunately. I cooked them some more once I got home but didn't really think they were anything special. Pizza is great. Bathroom is disgusting. They have a round seat on an oval toilet so there's a layer of dried pee on the part sticking out under the round seat. Seriously, how hard is it to get the right seat? Did they get the round one for free? Did they find it? The bathroom doesn't look like its been cleaned for months. But my biggest gripe is that you can't have a glass on water with your pizza. You have to buy bottled water. And no beer obviously. Given all that, this place is essentially take out only. ahhhh!!! I shared a pav bhaji pizza with my sister, and we liked it so much that we each brought home another pizza (chicken tikka) to share with our roommates (and my roommates loved it too! When I woke up the next morning, they'd already beat me to leftovers for breakfast). They have their own secret recipes for the sauces, which are buzzing with flavor. A great concept and well executed. We get the Gobi Manchurian pizza with no cheese (great vegan option) every time. It is super tasty, loaded but not overloaded with a great manchurian sauce and vegetables. The crust is right on point. The veggie samosa puffs are also nice and a flaky twist on samosas. What a great idea- classic curry dishes like chicken tikka massala and palak paneer on a decent crust instead of on rice! The pizzas were artistically fashioned and quite delicious. We ate in because too far from home, but the atmosphere is nothing much (and no table service, besides the pizza coming out from the kitchen) so order take out if you're in range. read more
