i visited italy last year and happened upon this pizzeria while looking for lunch. this place is a nice break from the more touristy areas and the worker was nice despite me not speaking italian.
this was by far the best pizza i've ever had, and my family's from new york so i'm very picky. every element of the slice was pretty much perfect. you could tell that the chefs were making their ingredients fresh every day. when i walked in, the chef was kneading dough on the counter. that freshness was very apparent in the slice i got. i can't even dream of finding another slice like this anywhere in america.
i look at the picture i took of my slice at least once a week and just yearn. read more
