It's been six years since I ate here. This was my husband's favorite watering hole. I walked in on a Tuesday at 3:30 and ordered a chicken taco salad and a pint of Dos Equis. My salad and beer came out quickly. My server was courteous and efficient. I was very impressed with the salad. The sour creme, guacamole, and pico de gallo came out in small cups on the side. There was plenty of beans and chicken under the salad. It was a filling and tasty meal. This place is slowly recovering from the covid lockdown. It is now open 3-8pm Monday thru Saturday. We have been there a few times, and the food is good and pleasant surroundings. Only bad thing we can say is there is one female bartender that very rarely smiles and can be rude. My husband went to pick up a to-go order last night and when he went up to the bar for it, she called over to someone else and said, "can you help this "guy". This guy? Not this customer? And he said she looked like he was disturbing her. Would suggest that management have a talk with its employees about how to practice customer service 101! read more

They had special lady night 3/20/24 prime rib dinner $19.99 - always awesome! I don't know if it's gonna be the same special every Wednesday or not. Headed to Sierra Vista this weekend to spend time with the folks and kiddos just before Christmas. My folks decided we should head here for a lunch. They state that the only time to come in the off hours because the staff seems more focused on the bar at the expense of the restaurant. Today I had the Pho (a vietnamese soup) and spring rolls to share with the parents. I normally really enjoy pho, but not so much this time. The flavor was kinda flat. I asked for some "cock sauce" (officinally Sriracha sauce). They pointed out the dab of sauce in a tiny dish, not really enough for my taste. The spring rolls were very tasty especially the sweet sauce served with them. But for me, the strangest was the food delivery. Normally all of the entrees all come out about the same time for a dining party. We only had 3 people, so one would think that should not be too hard. Mom got her entree salad, probably about 5 minutes later, dad got his vietnamese noodle dish, and about 5-10 minutes I got my soup. Very strange. One of the worst experiences, ever. Grungy atmosphere. Loud, obnoxious music. Dark dining room. The waitress was rude from the beginning. The onion rings tasted like straight oil. I ordered a burger that tasted like spoiled meat- and when I told the waitress, she just sort of shrugged and still tried to charge us. She also randomly asked if a credit card she was holding was ours (it wasn't). The only thing remotely decent about this place was the fishbowl drink I ordered with lots of rum. Attended a birthday party here (100th) and the staff was very accomodating. We were able to put up decorations a good hour and a half before the event. Appetizers were wonderful. Everyone ordered off the menu and they raved about the variety of choices. It was so sweet of the owner to come in and wish the birthday girl a happy 100th. Went in their so called "taco Tuesday" and received what looks like fell off a plate and put back on upside down so everything didn't fall out. We chose this place a little out of the blue. Sierra Vista is limited with few good choices for a date night but we though let's give it a try. Glad we decided on this for our early Valentine's Day experience! From the warm and inviting decor, calm atmosphere and well put together seating configuration I was completely open minded from the arrival and it only improved as the night went on. We started with a bucket of mussels in a white wine and butter sauce that was both elegant and delicious. Orders a couple of beers we though paired well with our entrees which were the Prime Rib special, and the Salmon with shrimp and we were completely enveloped in a foodie journey. Everything came to our table with not only the finest details of presentation, but absolutely cooked to perfection as well. With all of this in short, if you are going to surrender your hard earned money for an enjoyable night out, go to the Manda Le! In a small town that is fairly saturated with chain dinning, this a vibrant, and refreshing breath of desert air. I'm done with Chili's, Applebee's etc, etc. from now on this is will be my top recommendation for a lovely meal experience in this one horse town.
