I don't have much to say about Benny's that hasn't been said before. Amazing pizza and solid late-night service. What else could you ask for? There are plenty of classic pizza slices to choose from but I typically opt for a specialty pizza they may offer. One slice is usually enough to fill you up but two slices is more fun. Their ranch or marina goes incredible with the slices and don't forget to use their parmesan and red pepper flakes. When they're less busy, the staff has always been so cool and easy to talk while you wait for your pizza. There's plenty of vibes within the restaurant so you can look around as well. I've had a slice or two at this location on 10 separate occasions and the food has yet to disappoint. Sometimes there can be a line almost out the door but I promise, it's worth a wait. read more

Mom loves Benny's so we always stop by the South End location when she's visits. If you're looking for a large, affordable, filling portion this is your spot. Well, I still find it annoying that the toppings just sort of lay on top and fall off the pizza. I do have to admit, though, that a seven dollar lunch in Southend is worth a little inconvenience. The pizza is actually very good. It all starts as cheese and put your toppings on it then throw it in the oven to warm it up. I don't know anything about the mechanics of pizza, but maybe sprinkle a little more cheese on top of it so that the toppings stay where they're supposed to be. Pizza comes out super quick and there's plenty of seating. I like that the tables have the bar across the bottom so you have kind of a foot rest. Overall, I'm changing my three star review to a four star review because it is good pizza at an excellent price which is hard to find down here. Coming back with the same complaint years later. Again today, I saw staff go from cash register to touching pizza with their bare hands. I love the pizza but I've seen this too many times to excuse. I popped over from Hi-Wire next door for slices to go and it was a great choice. Yes, the pizza slices are $5+ here but when you see that it's from a 28" pie and one slice covers TWO plates, one slice is a meal in itself. Meatballs for me, mushrooms for Mrs. K. and it did not take long for them to get topped and heated and boxed up. This was my first (and definitely last) time trying Benny Ferrovia's Pizza--and the experience from start to finish was a letdown. I ordered two 14" cheese pizzas online and arrived around 9:50 PM on 4/13/25. The man working didn't greet me--just said "what can I get you?" I told him I was picking up an online order, gave him my name, and he immediately acted like no order existed. I showed him my phone with my order confirmation, and he said something like "I don't know how that works" or "I've never seen that before." Instead of asking for help, he just stood there. After I spelled out my name (I-S-S-A), he finally found the pizzas literally sitting behind him on top of the oven the whole time. No apology, no effort, just a really off-putting interaction. And after all that? The pizza wasn't even worth it. The cheese pizza barely had cheese on it--tasted like mostly bread. I don't know if I came on a bad night, or if it's better during the day when it's less busy, but this was super disappointing. We love Benny's - especially the Noda location - but this location has been more of a "miss" the past 2 times we've gone. The flavors are great, but the pizza isn't fully cooked and the toppings don't have time to bake into the cheese. I should say, it seems like this location does base cheese pizzas and then adds toppings when you order. Case in point, my three little pig slice last night. When I folded it, all the toppings rolled into the middle. Same with my kids pepperoni, when she picked it up, they just slid off. It would be fine, if they gave the pizza ample time to bake in the oven, so the cheese could melt and be the "glue", but it hasn't been the case recently. Loved my first experience!!! I read they have a parking lot but we parked across the street in The Penrose parking deck 45 minute retail parking. Bennys is nicely decorated, played great music and had lots of booths inside! They also have a covered patio which is where we sat with our dog. Don't expect a ton of different pizza options, they had cheese, pepperoni, and a couple specials. They also have a refrigerator with lots of drink options- non alcoholic BUT they also have beer. They have a freezer with ice cream as well. The pizza is HUGE. and amazing. One slice is plenty for one person and it was so good!! They also have ranch for .50 cents. The pizza slices here are HUGE! I tried the Versace slice which was a special slice of the day. It's a cheese slice topped with garlic pesto, onions, and green peppers. Service is great & space is causal and eclectic. The slices are HUGE so start with one! I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately in terms of NY Pizza this missed the mark on flavor. The texture & execution is not bad but the flavor is lacking - very basic cheese mix and the sauce is nothing special. Very greasy without the payoff of "good" greasy flavor. I didn't finish my slice and don't care to return. If you're in a pinch and need to fill a pizza craving, this may do, but I would not go out of my way for this slice in particular. Just a great experience! Husband and I got three slices and three drinks. Dinner for under $25 with tip and we left FULL! The Bobby Bruschetta is on rotation and won't be there much longer, but it was so good. Just had so much flavor. My husband had the Italian sausage and he liked the flavor, too. We split the pepperoni and it's what I expected after trying mine. Add in two cokes and a water - nothing weird there. The staff was awesome and the food was quick. All in all a great experience! When I tell you we had a ball at this brand new Benny's location!!! Went with a group of about 6 on a Saturday. Parking was an absolute breeze in their fancy new parking lot in South End. Can we normalize new businesses in South End having a parking lot please?! :) This was great. I ordered the speciality pizza called: "Hot Lips": it was topped with banana peppers, pineapples and some other deliciousness. It was the best slice of pizza I've had in YEARS, no lie! So damn good!!! I've thought about going back for it at least everyday since haha. The staff was cool and helpful. We started playing Uno and got pretty loud and rowdy and no one kicked us out, so thanks for letting us have fun!!! We really had a great time!! We even took some time to draw our own plates to add to their plate wall. IDK if that's usually for kids but hey...we're all kiddos at heart after all lol. it's a Benny, what else do you really need to know? If you like Benny's you'll probably like it here, if you don't then you might not but maybe you will because it's a slightly different Benny (hint: Ferrovia -vs- Penello) nice overhead and extra casual atmosphere, the counter seats facing out front are totally high - like crazy high - plenty of normal seating is available inside and out, shake is on the counter if you want to lively things up some, and the fridge is full up with a variety of beverages healthy or delicious depending... the pizza comes in four standard flavors plus two specials and it's far too large to eat in and almost too big for to go. so if the magnitude of the situation is too vast or the options too sparse excuse yourself quietly, find a gimmick you can live with, and I'll have your fun-sized slice or two instead... and a slice of sriracha to go to the airport for the cutest of chicks because she's been planing around all afternoon :-) so how about it? read more

After a successful pizza endeavor with Benny Pennelo's, we realized Benny Ferrovia's was closer to us, so we ordered another whole pie from there. This time we ordered the Jamaican Jerk pizza. It was delicious! The pizza once again lasted days as leftovers, and was just as good each time! (I recommend re-heating in the oven) The pizza was done quickly. The service was great. After hearing so much about this place my family and I decided to try it. Definitely was not what I was thinking. When it was my turn (on 11-8-25 at around 8:30) to order the older man with glasses visibly looked annoyed to begin with. Audibly complaining and mumbling things after people would order and I get it, people have bad days or has stuff going on, but that did not prepare me for how he'd treat me. Whenever the cashier finally to fully take our order and not just walk away several times, he got the order then proceeded to look at me and then accused me of stealing a sticker. I was actually so stunned because all I did was grab one then put it back, but I still emptied my pockets to prove I didn't. He didn't want to dig further so instead pulled the stickers back and looked like he was counting them. I can understand needing to see if someone stole, but he didn't have to go about it the way he did to where others could tell what was going on. I walked back out humiliated, embarrassed, and just wanted to leave because I've never been accused of stealing before. My mom felt bad and was upset because of how I was feeling so she ended up speaking with the manager Alexis. She truly was the highlight of the experience and took care of us. She didn't have to show us so much kindness, we really did just want to inform someone about the man's demeanor because it's very unwelcoming to say the least and we weren't the only ones he was rude towards. I left the same review on Google and the owner, Kristen Brown, said that "guests think the stickers are free and it can create an uncomfortable exchange", further backing up employe who is rude, unprofessional, and accuses people of stealing. Didn't know picking something up, even if you back it back down, is seen as stealing. The food isn't the great either, not worth what you're paying at least. Everything but the crust was top notch. I'm a fan of the crispy crust. A little char never hurt anyone. When you file a slice it should stay straight and not fold over to the side.
