This pizza is the closest to an Italian pizza in Dallas I could find! The dough is just like the one my father makes, the crust is thin and the cheese is abundant and of high quality!! The Ortolana I ate was just like the one I would eat in Rome! I'm so glad I found this pizzeria so I can take a small slice of home with me even in Texas! The server was also super kind and cordial and took the time out of the busy day to take a picture of our whole group!! Amazing experience all around!

One of my favorite restaurants, and its a fight for top 3 pizza shops for me. Ones a chain, ones a nyc style pizza place and pizzeria testa. So they all get their own respective categories. They have a "meter long" pizza option with our four pizza choices which is cool and all for the aesthetics but I think the round boi's taste better. I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest getting the Rodfather, it comes with Spianata which makes it spicy and good. The Marinara pasta was not bad. too fresh and light for our american palate. This is my 4th time and counting coming here.

Visited this place for a bday dinner on a Saturday night. Drinks Fragolino Press - yes Summer Peach Mule - no--too much ginger beer Espresso Martini- yes Food Metro Mista- Salsiccia & Funghi, Quattro Formaggi, Pesto, and Bianca- the slices were bigger than expected. I enjoyed the Salsiccia & Funghi the most. Fusilli Pesto- not much flavor Rigatoni Bolognese- very good The salads- just ok. The customer was a 10/10

Delicious food with a great atmosphere. The pizza was thin crusted and cooked perfectly to be crispy and a little chewy. The Arancini was good and the filling was the right balance of creaminess. The kale salad was flavorful with the Gorgonzola, bacon, and lemon vinaigrette giving it a nice salty balance with the kale. The mushrooms and sausage with the tomato sauce was a great combo. Overall a nice evening out. I'd recommend snagging a table on the patio if the weather is nice. And definitely get reservations for the weekend.

I immediately ordered with my eyes because of photos of perfect leopard charred spots on the crust. Their margherita is great, but it spills its guts with each bite. Although the dough is chewy and each ingredient is high quality, instead of binding on the crust together, the sauce and the cheese just slide off and the pie is really soggy. Quite a mixed feeling after my first bite. I'll allow fork and knife for this one.

My love for pizza really exploded when I came here. Interior is nice and the staff is friendly. They have electronic menus to minimize contact. Our pizzas were crispy, chewy, and tasty in all the right places. We also got the arugula salad with it. I think alone it was a bit peppery but when you eat it with the pizza, it's the best combination.

Excellent vegetarian pizza and Tiramisu dessert was yummy. We modified the pizza little bit and waiter was happy to accommodate us.

I was the first one there and saw the birthday girl/family pulling up as we walked in. We checked in and asked if there was a seating policy for reservations (which we had and were on time for) and the hostess said "as long as you have 6 people from your group we can get you seated." The birthday family arrived with their 4 and two more of our group came in 30 seconds after that. We watched as several other big parties who mentioned their remaining people were in the restroom or coming got seated before us. We asked second hostess if we could be seated soon since we had 8 of 10 people and she said they only seat full parties and we had been waiting 15 mins with our 8 by then in the small entrance. That was new news. She said she'd get the manager to see if it was okay and he informed us that they seat full parties for a better experience, but we were a bit disappointed at that point because we were told different on the phone and in person at that point. We finally got seated and our last two did come very late, admittedly, but we still had a good experience with the food and drinks. The salad and meatball appetizers were both tasty. The meatballs were very flavorful and they replenished both appetizers when asked. They had several interesting flavors to try including pizzas with goat cheese, buffalo chicken pizza, white pizza etc. I tried almost everything and was impressed with the flavors. The white pizza was surprisingly spicy to be scallion based, but I really enjoyed it! We also all saved space to try to desert pizzas and the dule de leche was a favorite amongst our group. Most of the table order wine or cocktails and they were all highly favored. The passion fruit margarita was pretty good. We did have to wait a little while occasionally for water refills, but our servers were still doing a good job with how packed it was in there. The parking wasn't terrible - it's a decent sized lot for the area, but I think luck plays a roll in if you're able to park easily or have to wait a bit for a spot. All in all, we had a good foodie experience here will make sure the whole party is present before returning!

Our standard order is a large three topping with pepperoni, real Italian sausage and onions. You've got to try onions as that touch of sweet helps with all the savory flavors. We always include a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing for a small charge $2.55! You've can also purchase their homemade salad dressings by the pint or quart. The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. This place is a definite bargain on many items. Now the pizza is just spectacular. The Italian sausage is the real thing that has been sliced from the links not the sausage "turds" you get with fast food pizza. The crust is perfectly yeasty and the thickness on the medium side. They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets. Our server, Emma, took excellent care of us and explained their authentic pizza style: a thin, crunchy crust with a perfectly chewy inside. I'm giving this a solid 4 stars instead of 5 simply because while everything was very good, nothing quite wowed me enough to push it into "must-have, can't-stop-thinking-about-it" territory. Still, it's a great spot with good food, good service, and a worthwhile Happy Hour.

We were told we had to place our entire order at once, and despite our reservation noting that we were celebrating a birthday, he never acknowledged it or even asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. When we mentioned it ourselves, he didn't respond at all. While returning from the restroom (which was also uncomfortably hot and stuffy), I spoke with the manager, Jason, about our experience and asked if we could switch servers. Thankfully, Vlad, who had been serving nearby tables, took over our table. He was a complete turnaround. Vlad was personable, energetic, attentive, and provided the level of hospitality we expected. He truly saved what he could of the experience. Our group spent over $750 on food and drinks. The appetizers and sides were excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the entrees didn't live up to the same standard. One steak was overcooked and had to be sent back. By the time the replacement arrived, everyone else had already finished eating. The Salmon Diane was also dry and overcooked. To end the night, while we were waiting for our checks to be processed, Jason came over and told us the next reservation had arrived and that we needed to leave. We explained that we were simply waiting to pay, yet no effort was made to speed up the process by collecting our payment or offering to run the checks. It felt rushed and incredibly inhospitable, especially after everything that had already gone wrong. The only reasons this review isn't one star are Vlad and the excellent appetizers and sides. We've dined at many high-end restaurants, and this was by far one of the most disappointing service experiences we've had, especially for a special celebration. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
