    Burned puzza

Burned puzza for cowboy game. Last week they forgot the pepperoni on the pepperoni pizza. My Next door post of this includes many neighbors saying it had gone down hill. Sadly I must agree.

Pizza here is really tastey. Big slices with a nice crust and they dont scimp on the toppings. You can basically build your own or choose from a combination from the menu. Service is quick: no complaints here. Very satisfied with pizza everytime i choose Lovers.

It has been a few years since I've been to this location, the Lover's on Garland Rd is now closer. The place has not changed at all since my last visit. The slices are still large, and have gone up a bit in price. I used to get two slices for about $5 and now it is $7. I may be not correct but I thought the sausage was crumbles but now they are like pellets. I prefer the crumbles. The crust was not as crisp or as thin as I remember. But I was stuffed after two slices. They still bring your slices to you, so service has not changed. The ambience is still similar to what you would find in a suburb of New York or New Jersey. Overall, not a bad experience and I would return.

"I can't believe we don't eat here more often." - my family Well, we definitely will start eating here a lot more! My family just ordered pickup from Lover's Pizza & Pasta for the first time in a long time. The restaurant uses authentic Italian recipes and fresh ingredients to make everything taste delicious and flavorful! We never dine in because we find their location convenient for delivery or pickup but, the restaurant is charming/cozy and the staff is friendly. FYI: it's BYOB. They serve large portion sizes so you'll have plenty of leftovers. Their pastas come with salad and bread. The calamari, fried to perfection, comes with two types of sauces. The pizzas come in four different sizes, starting at 12 inches, and they offer three varieties- thin, thick, and gourmet (we ordered thin, including one "build your own" pizza). Plus, you can order by the slice. Overall, they offer a little bit of everything to meet any family member's expectations when ordering Italian food. We look forward to trying the entrees and sandwiches, as well as the desserts, next time!

Definitely the best pizza in the white rock area. Quiet little hole in the wall joint near Casa Linda. I waited too long to try this pie out. Fantastic, delicious and great crust. They always deliver faster than you expect. Family owned and operated. Old-school pizza joint. You must try.

Conveniently fixed in the Lakewood Village strip with plenty of parking.

Needed some phenomenal pizza & pasta To-Go for "The Last Supper" since I'm starting The Keto Diet tomorrow, and Lover's was definitely above average. ~ Ordered: * 12" Cheese / Pepperoni & Hamburger pizza * Fettuccini Carbonara * side of Alfredo sauce * and an iced tea. ~ Total: $26.36 before tip. (Very reasonable price). The food was piping hot and perfectly packaged up for To-Go presentation. The portions were huge and plenty. Easily three meals for an adult. The pasta came with a side salad and two garlic knots. I'm not usually a fan of garlic knots, but these were some of the better ones that I've tasted. The house dressing is what made the salad for me. It was a unique reddish color and quite good. Iced tea tasted fresh and they do have lemon wedges, which was a nice touch. The Fettuccini Carbonara was excellent for the price and extremely filling. Very flavorful and topped with fresh parsley. I do NOT regret the Carbohydrates. AT ALL. Pizza was very good. It wasn't dry and had plenty of toppings. 12" was the perfect size for a carb-hungry girl around that time of el mes. The crust was New York style thin, but fluffy and fresh. A+! Alfredo sauce was above average, but not up there with the best like Kenny's Italian Kitchen. The viscosity was very good though and free of any unwanted chunkiness or separation. You can't go wrong for the price. The restaurant staff wasn't overly welcoming and may even be considered borderline rude by some paying customers, but I didn't mind. I was there for FOOD, not smiles. I always tip, even for To-Go orders. If you're a cheap bastard though, you might be a little peaved with the level of customer service or lack thereof. I would definitely recommend this little spot if you have a hankering for some good Italian comfort food at a very decent price.

The restaurant was probably 75% full and it was just 2 of us, so easy peasy. Amber(I really hope that's right) was a great waitresses. She greeted us and asked if we wanted anything besides the waters that had already been given. She then gave us a few minutes to look over the menu... Side bar: I guess I'm just old, but I want a real menu, not a QR code to scan. We looked over the menu and decided on 2 small pizza to split. Fourmaggio, which almost always my go to if available at the pizza place, and the Potato and Pancetta. Both pizzas were great, but the Potato and Pancetta was the winner for us! Really cool little spot that seems like a hipster sports bar. We don't live close, but will probably go in the future if we're in the area.

(just a fun fact) They seem pretty proud of that fact too, considering there's now a giant cowboy hat sculpture, "The Big Hat," right across the street. It's impossible to miss. Anyway, we weren't there for hats. We were there for pizza. First, a public service announcement. Figure out what you want before you walk in because the menu is only available through a QR code, and it is awful. You scroll. Then you scroll some more. Then somehow you're still scrolling. It feels less like ordering dinner and more like reading the terms and conditions for a mortgage. The two of us ordered a large pepperoni pizza, which turned out to be ambitious. We ate leftovers for days. Next time I'd definitely order the smaller size. My only real complaint about the pizza itself was the pepperoni. There was just TOO MUCH of it. Sure, I could have asked for "light pepperoni", but then I'd be paying full price for less topping, and that just goes against my personal philosophy. I'd love to see a "light pepperoni" option priced accordingly. ALSO not it is the good and greasy cupping pepperoni, kinda spicy. The pizza was also a little unevenly prepared. About half had a thicker crust while the other half was noticeably thinner. I definitely preferred the thinner side. Service was perfectly fine, the bathrooms were clean and nice, and the pizza was good overall. Just be prepared for the QR code marathon before you get to enjoy it.

Our standard order is a large three topping with pepperoni, real Italian sausage and onions. You've got to try onions as that touch of sweet helps with all the savory flavors. We always include a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing for a small charge $2.55! You've can also purchase their homemade salad dressings by the pint or quart. The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. This place is a definite bargain on many items. Now the pizza is just spectacular. The Italian sausage is the real thing that has been sliced from the links not the sausage "turds" you get with fast food pizza. The crust is perfectly yeasty and the thickness on the medium side. They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets. We called ahead of time as Resy was glitching and were told that we could just walk in and likely wouldn't wait long. Arrived the host was helping someone with a takeout order. We waited. And waited. She never even looked at us or said. "Hi...just give me a minute and I'll be right with you.." 2nd host came to the counter (more than 5 minutes passed as we watched them buzz around and still not say hello). She finally looked up and said, "2"? Then seated us almost silently. We waited another 10 mins for someone to welcome us, say hi, or bring water, then a waiter appeared with a rushed, "Are you ready to order?" Umm....how about drinks? Specials? Anything?? We wanted a beer and were told the taps were empty and the only bottled option was Shiner. Rough start all around. Honestly, we were tempted to leave. It was that uncomfortable. We didn't. For the food: 1. Chopped salad was good, though it's not chopped at all, just a tossed salad. 2. Gnocci was delicious 3. Pizza was very tasty but the crust was strangely soggy/chewy. Maybe that's the style, but I kind of expected a bit of a crunch to it. The flavor all around was great. Our waiter disappeared (I'm assuming his shift ended?) without warning or letting us know someone else would step in. If I had to sum it up, it was almost like we were invisible the whole time we were there. Service can make or break an experience--it broke it for us. I'd consider trying the Richardson location in the future, but I think it'll be a while.

We were lead to a large half moon shaped booth nestled in the corner; which was large and plush. Plenty of room for us four and honestly at least two more people. On our table was a place card that said Happy Birthday to my partner which was a nice touch. Our waitress arrived and very pleasant and helpful.
