Located off Lovers Lane across from Trader Joe's, this restaurant was a great find. I went in around 4:45 pm, and there was only one other family dining at the time. The restaurant was very clean and offered plenty of indoor seating, along with a large menu that had lots of options to choose from. I ordered the lasagna with a side salad, which came with ranch dressing and garlic knots. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portion size was generous. It was more than enough for one person and incredibly filling. Best of all, the entire meal was only $12.99. Between the amazing food, great prices, and spotless, comfortable environment, there was truly nothing not to love about this place. I ordered 2 separate slices, one with Canadian Bacon with Pineapple, looks like the just throw the pineapple on top not cooked or melted in with the cheese The other with Italian sausage with hamburger again just thrown on top. Very little interaction with me. Everyone looked miserable. read more

This place is an east Dallas gem! They have some of the best spaghetti marinara and angel hair pasta with olive oil and garlic. The service and ambience are amazing, I always end up hanging out for about an hour. Their last location was good but their new location is great. read more

The WORST lasagna !!! I had not been here since maybe 2001. I was in the area was craving lasagna. All I got was a one layer of meat with cheese but the top piece was like very thick layers of just pasta but more just side pieces. The main layer was just cheese. The hardest pasta layer at that. Really recommend this place, especially if you're new to the area or live in the area. The ambience here is great and the food here is as authentic as it gets for pizza and pastas. It's also not on the pricey side, which is truly rare for a place that serves quality dishes like they do. A slice of pizza here for example is $4 and the slice is bigger than what you'd get at most places. I've literally been places that will serve a slice for $5-$6 and the slice will be smaller and not as flavorful as this place. The service has always been good here too and will give you a true Italian feel all around. Almost like you're in the Sopranos. Lovers Pizza was much better this time around. We did a family taste test competition between Lovers and Mimi. It was tie, 2-2. I personally thought Mimi's had a slight edge but both pizza were excellent NY style pizzas for the Park Cities area. I find Lovers pizza to have a better crust than Mimi's. Mimi's is slightly cheezier and I prefer the taste by a hair. But the two pizzas are very close. It was a great pizza taste test. Everyone knows the rules.... read more

This is just a hole in the wall place but did not expect the food to be really good. This place is highly recommended. Their big slice of 1 cheese pizza was good enough for our 2 year old's appetite. He loved it so much. Their calzone is one of the best and my hubby can't stop praising it. Not greasy, so yummy and crust is perfectly toasted. Crunchy and good. The best for me is their grilled salmon over linguini. It's to die for. Salmon is perfectly grilled, it needs a little salt but you can taste the lemon and the spice on it. The lemon brown sauce is the best I ever tasted. Now I have an alternative for my puttanesca which is hard to find a good one in Dallas. I would highly recommend the grilled salmon. Too bad we didn't see the calamari until late so we didn't get to taste it but I'll surely be back for more. We need to get more of their other pizza choices. Love this place! read more

I came in for a quick sandwich for lunch to go. They had a big catering order for a school so it took a little longer but the chicken Parmesan sandwich was pretty solid. Could have used a little more chicken inside, was mostly breading. Nothing really special but definitely worth it for the price. Lovers pizza and Pasta is a local shop that sells pizza/pasta and even has a picture of Italy on its box. But, sadly, it hasn't quite yet mastered this art. The pizza is good and it will satisfy but it will not knock your socks off. To be honest, as I ate it, I felt that this pizza was maybe just as good but not better than dominos or pizza hut. I got the meat lovers and a chicken bbq style pizza. Both were huge but prices are decently expensive: $16 for a 14in and $19 for a 16in. Because this is almost double franchise pizza prices but not much better quality pizza, its not the best bang for your buck. Ok but not spectacular pizza. Possibly worth another visit.
