We are staying close by and this place had great reviews. We walk in and there is no one else eating at the restaurant, bad sign. We ordered a slice of ham and pineapple pizza, which was so obviously reheated, and it tasted like a piece of cardboard. I don't think this is what New York pizza tastes like. The pizza is very yummy, not like chain pizza restaurants that are hit or miss. If I lived near here, this would be my go-to pizza shop. I'm with a group that gets together for volunteer activities , and there is a back room you can reserve. I've been twice on a Saturday, and the place was pretty both times, which makes it easy to find a table and meet with a group. There's the plastic tablecloth, red pepper flakes at the table, pictures of the owner and his family. The owner clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. He also said we can only get slices for why is currently available (which was two cheese slices and some meat slices). In Jeff's words, the prices went up because of Joe Biden. Highly inappropriate. He also made inappropriate and unprofessional comments to multiple other guests. We ordered a pie since it was reasonably priced, compared to their slices. It took about 20 minutes. It's my preference to have the dough more golden brown than white. Staff are very hardworking and try to accommodate orders as quickly as possible.
