Came in for dinner and it is such a nice little spot and everyone is so welcoming and nice. They really took care of us and were very attentive. Loved that they give you bread pitas and oil, balsamic and pesto for your bread. The food came out piping hot, delicious, and good portions. My son got the weekly special which was very good. Staff - very friendly and helpful with recommendations Food - Amazing pasta and appetizers! We had the CARPACCIO to start and it was delicious! I was craving a white sauce and shrimp and with the server's recommendation, I had the CAPELLINI al SUGO BIANCO. The garlic white wine sauce was light and delicious. My friend had the PAGLIA e FIENO which was rich and creamy - SO GOOD (I would come back just to have a whole bowl of this for myself!). I wish I took a picture of the food but I was STARVING. Great group of people! We arrived in the evening and had a mixup with an online service. MoMo's no longer uses the app Postmates, however, Postmates still shows them available to order on their app. After we told the restaurant manager, he helpfully guided us through our confusion. We were able to cancel the online order and place a order with the same manager who brought out our four entrees in under 25 minutes. This place was pretty good for an Italian place. They have a really large pasta menu. The dish I had was also really good. My only note is that it is daily expensive especially if you are ordering a vegetarian option and want to add meat. Easily can become a $30 meal per person. read more

Talk about great food, great service and a great atmosphere! This is a small classic Italian restaurant perfect for date night. It's reasonably priced for the quality of the food and the service. The waiter was personable, attentive and eager to offer suggestions when we were ordering. I ordered the Ceasar salad and Penne Basilico (pesto). The ceasar salad was fresh and cold with a decent amount of dressing. The croutons were my favorite part; they were homemade and seasoned well. My pesto had a very fresh flavor with tons of garlic. My boyfriend ordered the Capellini Alla Momo; a creamy sauce with shrimp and shredded salmon. Unfortunately, the dish didn't have any shrimp. I really enjoyed the shredded smoked salmon though; it gave it a unique texture without a fishy flavor. We were too stuffed for dessert but I will definitely try the tiramisu next time. read more

My family and I came here for a celebratory dinner after a graduation. Food tasted EXCELLENT. Great portions for the price. They offered complimentary bread service with three dipping sauces before our food arrived. They offered a wide variety of wine and beer that we chose from. I really don't understand how this place has horrible reviews. My husband and I live in Houston, but his best friend's wife has raved about Momo's a few times, and since we're in town this weekend, this was the first place we dined at. For starters, if you're gluten free, especially if you have a horrid intolerance like I do, it's a miracle to find a place that doesn't nickel and dime for every GF item out there (I'm used to my bill increasing $3-$5 every time I get GF pasta). To my delight, on the back of the menu, it clearly states there is no upcharge to sub for GF pizza crust or pasta. Praise be. I also think they pay attention to minimizing cross-contamination. I always take meds when I dine out and often still have symptoms. It's been four hours since dinner, and I'm still fine. My husband and I made reservations and had the pleasure of Ricardo being our waiter. He was extremely familiar with the restaurant's GF accommodations and even offered GF bread instead of regular. How refreshing. We split a Caesar salad and the alfredo dish that's at least five words in length (and added chicken for protein). Our food was amazing and rich - and I@' so glad we split our dinner. I know people comment that they give small portions, but if you share a salad and the dish, it's plenty for two. What made it even better is the regulars the owner and some of the staff knew. The staff made us feel just as welcome, and our water glasses were never empty. We will absolutely be back on our next trip in town. read more

It's a charming little spot with the rustic Italian feel you'd expect. The staff were friendly and quickly delivered the complimentary bread and dips. The menu is all titled in Italian so you do have to read a bit to figure out what each dish is. I didn't know what to try, I have a dairy allergy so I couldn't eat most of the dishes. I found Linguette alla Puttanesca which is olive oil based and no dairy! I added chicken to it and it was AMAZING. The dish arrived steaming hot and I dig in before I remembered to take a photo (sorry!). My fiancée got Gnocchi alla Salsiccia which had pillowy soft gnocchi and a delicious red sauce. He was very pleased. Good portion sizes despite what other reviews say. It's not a whole box of pasta like some other places. Glad to say we have added a new date night spot to our list. Was desperately craving pesto pasta. Which appears to be hard to find in Dallas. Found this place and hoped for the best! Turns out it was great! The penne was al dente, and the pesto was pretty good! Added some chicken for protein which had zero complaints from me. If you like pesto would def recommend the penne de basilico.
