We were looking for a casual place to have dinner when I remembered that there was a place I heard about that had great seafood boils in Ocean City. PJ Buckets is not fine dining , it's excellent eating. I ordered the Louisiana Boil that could feed a crowd. Snow crab, crawfish, shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes boiled with flavors you can only find in Louisiana. How hot do you want it? The wife went in the opposite direction, the Italian, lobster tails, shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels and sausage all cooked in a not overpowering red sauce. It's not gravy, sorry. All served over a bed of pasta. "You know, this is really good" All the boils are served in huge aluminum pans, perfect to take home the leftovers. I wish I had room for the Mac n cheese I saw others eating. And how can anyone forget the cornbread? It's worth a return trip. Maybe I'll order the Matzoh Ball soup, a surprise on the menu.

Tried this place on our last visit to Ocean City. Awesome selection of seafood boils. Everything was cooked really well and was better than expected. My son had the lobster bisque and lobster Mac and cheese. He loved the mac and cheese, but we both thought the bisque tasted a bit off. Far more "fishy" than lobster, if that makes sense. We couldn't finish it. The restaurant itself is kind of dark, but we went in the early evening, so maybe it's better as it gets darker. Everything looks pretty utilitarian, honestly. Drinks are bought out of a cooler instead of being fountain, which seemed kind of odd. LOVED that they had an industrial sink in the dining area, so customers could wash after what is sure to be a messy meal. Finally, the service was great. The owners - I assume - were super nice and welcoming. They kept checking on us, but not annoyingly often. I'd never been there before, but they really made us feel comfortable.

Perfect way to end the summer! Several tasty seafood boil options, tasty lobster bisque and delish coleslaw! Friendly, attentive service and PJ checked in to be sure all was good.

Service was great and they make a great effort to inform you about what is truly good, and possibly what to avoid when ordering. We had the New Jersey boil and it was delicious. All the food was cooked very well and didn't cause any stomach issues (that's one thing I worry about when eating out). The staff was very friendly and made the experience delightful.

If you love great seafood and lovely people, this is the place to go. Conveniently located near the beach, PJ Buckets is a hidden treasure for casual seafood dining. Staff make you feel at home and the food is great. We discovered the first location in Ventnor a few years ago and were currently vacationing in Ocean City so we had to try the new location. Very nice memories for us. I highly recommend this establishment.

Just a good reminder to not feed them, as they have gotten so bad over the years.

It was very crowded and it felt like everyone was sitting together. You were on top of one another eating with your neighbors. It was a hectic seating scenario, kids running everywhere. Up and down the dock, in-between tables. The seagulls were the worst part. Felt like you had to guard your plate the entire time. One swooped down and attacked the French fries on my wife's plate while we were sitting right there towards the end of our meal. And the best they could do was offer to take our plates away. Food was ok at best. Good portions, no real flavor in the fish tacos, the fish and chips were just deep fried, not seasoned, nothing special or to brag about. was not worth the trip at all. We won't be going back. Not until they fix some major things.

Fresh, flavorful, toasted roll, and not drowned in mayo or weighed down with filler, this roll had that unmistakable New England quality that's rare to find outside the region. The setup is everything you want from a boardwalk seafood stand, kitschy signage, college kids on summer hire, and the energy of classic Americana done right. It's casual, quick, and full of the sights, sounds, and smells of summer at the Jersey Shore. We were with our oldest kid, making a round of food stops, and this one easily topped the list. Staff were friendly, efficient, and clearly having a good time, which always makes the experience better. Final word: Quincy's is legit. If you're in Ocean City and craving a real lobster roll that doesn't feel like a tourist trap, this is the spot. I'd absolutely go back and recommend it to anyone walking the boards looking for a bite that actually delivers.

We got there and it looked, calm, simple, and plain from the outside - until we walked in... this place was PACKED! Clearly, since we didn't make reservations, we weren't going to enjoy seating at their white table cloth tables in the main dining room, but we went around back to their bar and scored one last table there. Our server, Brian was amazing... engaging... and on point! They have a nice wine list and perfect spirit list. They also have an outstanding menu loaded with so many options, that I really just needed to settle on the first thing I saw that looked good. For me, I love cucumbers and when I saw they had a cucumber salad, done Asian style, I was completely in!!! Then I saw their soup of the day was split pea with bacon and since no one serves split pea and when they do, it's rarely what I expect, I got that too! Both of these came out looking GREAT! The cucumber salad had a nice spice to it and the flavors overall were sooo on point! That split pea soup was also great... almost perfect! It had the exact texture this soup should have and the flavor was very nice. For my entrée I saw a few of the halibut as I was walking through the dining room, so that is what I chose. The halibut came out looking great! It was PERFECTLY prepared too!! The flavors were spot-on, and the accompanying veggies were great too. We were enjoying dinner so much that we didn't want it to end, even though we were full... so, we ordered desserts too. I opted for the banana cream pie, as this is another item I rarely see on a menu and when I do, it's rarely done right, but not here... they did it perfectly! Overall, amazing meal... Highly recommend stopping in, but make reservations first!
