He showed earlier than he'd said, got right on it, found the problem, had the parts in his van, and half an hour later, the a/c was running cold. I asked him what I owed, he told me and I was taken aback. I felt lucky even to have gotten hold of someone on a late Saturday. I was really hopeful when the guy actually showed, and early at that. When he had the air conditioner going cold in almost no time, I really couldn't believe my good fortune. I 'd already called to make reservations in a hotel in Galveston for the weekend, thinking it would be Monday before anyone would get out to look. But to have a guy do all that and for no more than he'd asked, well, that just doesn't happen often.
