I called one place before Robert's air conditioning and was met with an answering service that promised to call me back but never did. Several hours later I decided that I needed to call Roberts. I am glad that I had the opportunity to deal with Robert's air conditioning. Not only did he step away from dinner to come and help me, his prices were reasonable and he operated in an extremely trustworthy and professional fashion. They said the part is covered by the manufacturer warranty but the labor and the refrigerant is not. The average cost with some google suggests the replacement for a TXV should cost between $185 to $750. Not only are they not standing by their work, they are looking to make a quick buck even after collecting upwards of $20k from me for my air conditioners. I regret ever letting this company do new units in my home. Clearly they do not stand by their work.
