The coffee cake was sweet with a nice crispy crumble topping. The layer in the middle tasted luxurious, like straight up creamed sugar and butter with a hit of cinnamon. Incidentally, it paired well with the cortado and made it more palatable. Staff was incredibly friendly and warm. I arrived to the shop rather early and by the time I left the shop was beginning to fill up, so I'm happy to see this spot seems to have its regulars who like to park and work on their laptops and just meet up for a catch-up. I can see folks shopping in the area taking a break here to duck in for a quiet moment, and I can also see the folks living here dropping in on the regular.
