the interior of the restaurant is very pretty, with chandeliers and high ceilings. we ordered typical southern breakfast foods and the taste is alright, nothing really special. i would say service is not that good, everything came out extremely slow.

Our family enjoyed the most wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at the Roosevelt Room, and it truly set the tone for the holiday. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed into a charming space filled with beautiful brick accents and a warm, festive glow that felt both cozy and elegant. The hostess who greeted us made us feel instantly at home, and our waitress was absolutely delightful, attentive, friendly, and added to the joyful spirit of the evening. Every member of our family loved their entrée, which says a lot with a table full of different tastes. I ordered the lamb shank, and it was perfection, tender, flavorful, and melted right off the bone. It was our first time dining here, but it certainly will not be our last. Thank you, Roosevelt Room, for a memorable and magical Christmas Eve experience we will be talking about for years to come.

We had an amazing experience at Roosevelt room! From entering with a warm welcome from the hostess to the delicious scratch kitchen breakfast everything was incredible. The restaurant is very pretty, open and feels comfortable. We had a wonderful server Jeanna, I recommend her. She was attentive and made great recommendations. We had the delicious eggs breakfast with sausage, toast and biscuit. They also have home made peach butter - you should definitely try it. Next time I'm in St. Agustine I will return. I urge you to try this place. If yelp had 10 stars this would get it.

Had a great experience with a six top for brunch. All our meals came out together and our server and other staff worked hard to ensure our drinks came out Ina timely fashion. I enjoyed my corned beef hash. The duck fat fingerling potatoes were a big highlight of the meal. Would definitely come back to sample more. As everyone was happy with their choices as well.

Brunch at The Roosevelt Room was such a great experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked in. While there was a bit of a wait, it was absolutely worth it. The venue is gorgeous, with beautiful scenery that makes it feel special. It definitely seems like the kind of place you would want to rent for a wedding dinner. I ordered the seasonal mocktail, which was a lime based drink and really refreshing. For food, I had the triple mushroom sandwich with a poached egg on top. The egg was done perfectly, the sourdough had just the right crunch, and the aioli was packed with flavor. Highly recommend for a relaxed and lovely brunch with friends. I am already looking forward to going back.

We had brunch here after a recommendation from the staff at our hotel. What a great recommendation! When you first walk in you are warmly greeted and the interior is stunning with a beautiful chandelier and sprawling staircase. Our server, Kelly could not have been sweeter; this is true southern hospitality at it's best! My go-to breakfast is French toast; their French toast brulee is some of the best that has crossed my lips. It starts with fresh sourdough bread then stuffed with vanilla cream cheese and peach melba and topped off with orange blossom honey. I'm drooling just writing about it! My husband had an omelet and thought it had mediocre flavoring. If only this place was closer I'll eat here once a week.

While in St Augustine check out the Roosevelt Room for brunch. Great friendly service from all, especially from Kelly . Beautifully decorated space with exposed brick and what looks like origonal ceiling tiles. Chandeliers beautiful bar. Very relaxed and you feel like you are stepping back in time.

I had a great experience here on Valentine's day! The atmosphere was very classy and what I wanted for a special dinner. Staff were all very nice. The food was very yummy as well! I would also like to note that it was handicap accessible and plenty of space for a wheelchair which is sometimes hard to find in St. Augustine. Will definitely be returning for special date nights.

Wanted to try this place out as it looked interesting. At first, I thought it was a little pricey. However, the portions were generous and so worth the price . Belle our server was an added bonus. All-around Great experience! Highly recommend!

    Croque Madam

Was in St. Augustine for a work conference and came here for brunch during a break. I was by myself so I sat at the bar, and was immediately greeted by a wonderful waitress. I ordered the Croque Madam and cheese grits, and loved the flavor of the Croque Madam! The cheese grits were delicious as well, but was so full on the sandwich! This place feels casual during the day, but could definitely trend to more of an upscale place during the evening.

    Hipster toast

Had the hipster toast, very good , lot of food . Service was awesome . Nice quiet atmosphere .

This place is a "Wow" for me. The decor is beautiful, flowery and quite feminine, the food is "Scratch-Kitchen" and comes to the table like culinary art and tastes as good as it looks. I chose a Brisket Ranchero which gave me a masculine vibe with a delicate touch. I could eat this meal every day. Great flavor and seasoning, tender brisket with a perfectly cooked egg on top, guacamole and covered in diced tomatoes with pickled onion meticulously placed on the plate. It's a stand-alone award winner. The seasonal quiche with the side of salad is exactly what I'd expect from a rooted-in-history fine European restaurant recommended from the Michelin Guide. The staff is very pleasant and professional. The restaurant is a classy ball-room feel with brick walls giving it a classic look and chandeliers adding a touch of glamour. Flower-covered handrails to a second floor seating area add to the "Ritzy" decor and elegant appearance. My highest recommendation!

    Do they take reservations?

I don't know. I was a walk in both times. I was there on a Wednesday and Thursday morning around 10:00 AM. There was only upstairs seating available, as I got the last table.

The service showed a real lack of knowledge and attentiveness. When I ordered whole milk for my coffee, the response was essentially "is half and half okay?" -- no, it is absolutely not okay. These are completely different in taste and calories, and it's not a reasonable substitute to casually suggest. What made it worse: oat milk, almond milk, and whole milk were all visibly sitting in the fridge right there from where I was seated at the bar. Zero effort to offer what was clearly available. The atmosphere didn't help either. The space feels like someone started building a café concept and never finished thinking it through. It's uninviting, disorganized, and oddly off -- not warm, not designed with the customer in mind. Nothing about the food, the presentation, or the space gives you a reason to choose this place over anywhere else. Not particularly tasty, not nicely decorated, not a vibe. I checked the Yelp reviews ahead of time and it definitely lived up to them. People in our group started with drinks and everyone at the table seemed happy with what they ordered. Someone else at the table had the Rockefeller crusted snapper and that looked and tasted great as well. For appetizers, I had the shaved pear and blue cheese salad. It was really good and honestly enough for two people to share as an appetizer. People at the table also ordered the Devils on Horseback and liked them. I do not eat bacon, but they were happy with that dish. The deviled eggs with southern fried oysters looked really good, and I had the smoked salmon spread, which was very good too. I also saw the shrimp and grits come out for someone else and that dish looked excellent. For dessert, I had the sticky toffee pudding and it was a strong finish to the meal. Others at the table ordered the seasonal crème brûlée, which was chocolate that night. It looked great and everyone who had it said it was very good. Sunny was our waitress and she did an exceptional job. Attentive, kind, and on top of everything the whole night.
