G&L double rub: we LOVE dry rub wings but this one just didn't have as much flavor as we were hoping. Will probably try these Cajun or bang bang next time. The wings were made well and didn't have too much breading on them which was good.

She was prompt with delivering drinks, meals, refills and our check. We easily found parking and an open booth on a Friday night around 7:30pm. We started out with lemon pepper wings and Jalapeno poppers. Everything feels like food service quality food - fry and serve. Poppers were heavily coated with breading. Ranch was thick almost like a condiment you spread with a knife. They accidentally made boneless wings instead of bone-in wings so we got to try both. The boneless were dry/overcooked and lacked flavor. The bone-in were also dry which was disappointing because we were really craving wings tonight. Greg's burger was also - you guessed it - dry. Maybe the timing was off with the kitchen tonight? Huge dallop of cream cheese had to be removed to make this edible. Soggy fries. (Insert sad face) Dill chicken sandwich was also dry and tasted premade. We wondered, is anything made in house here? Boneless bbq wings were also not a hit, both kids expedited our departure as there was a mad dash for the bathroom. Eek, could be a long night. We've read the reviews and we're excited to support a local family run business. Sadly this was not our jam and will be a one-timer for us.

I've driven by this spot multiple times, but this was the first time trying them out. I came for a…read morelate lunch (weekday around 1-2pm) and the place was fairly packed. At that point, I knew I was in for a treat. Any dining establishment packed at non-peak dining times must be a local favorite. I got the Thursday special: meatloaf with BBQ glaze, mashed potatoes, and char grilled corn. Meatloaf is one of my comfort foods, and this one really delivered. It was cooked perfectly; moist on the inside, a nice sear on the outside, and tangy BBQ sauce. The mashed potatoes and corn were pitch perfect too; I especially liked the char on the corn. The vibe is rustic casual, with ample large screen TVs for catching a sports game. Our server brought the wrong beer (light beer instead of Surly) , but made it right when we pointed it out. The acoustics were great; which is hard to find in populated places with a concrete floor. There is a parking lot. I'm already imagining a return visit next Thursday for more meatloaf!

The fries with the Hangover were not cooked through also (barely cooked/limp). This was on a Friday afternoon so they weren't terribly busy, just not sure what happened.

The lunch size was perfect for me! My husband got the burger. I tried a bite and the meat was SO good!! Our only complaint is we didn't love the fries. Our server was great. Stopped in with some friends for the first time this week. Service was nearly nonexistent…read more Ordering was slow. Getting drinks was slow. The bar was nearly empty, there were maybe 5 people in the bar/restaurant when we arrived. I don't think it was slow on the bartenders part as much as it was our server. A couple Guinness, a black and tan and a hot cider later, we waited to order food. While eating we decided we didn't want to wait any longer for our server so we went to the bar to ask for waters, our drinks long gone at this point. We also got up to get our own ketchup. Burger was fine but mostly flavorless. Cottage pie was fine, had I not been starving I likely wouldn't have eaten as much as I did. The food was just OK, nothing memorable or spectacular about it. Prices were pretty high for what it was, $17 for a cheeseburger is pretty outrageous, cottage pie in a ramekin was $18. Server wasn't very friendly, or was just in a bad mood that day. She spent a lot of time in the back (this was between major meal times, around 3:30-4) so she didn't seem super engaged or have much desire to be out on the floor. 3% surcharge for credit card

I liked the choice of doing the flight since I'm always trying to taste everything. They had a wide variety and I usually like the fruit beers and I found the pineapple one to be delicious! They have popcorn and pull tabs available too. They also do trivia and happy hour. We loved the vibes here. The bartender was friendly, servers got us water once but don't come back to check on us but we were ok with being left alone that night.

A Self-Service Sisyphus: The Taps and Trials of Union 32 In…read morethe shadow of the Vikings' headquarters in Eagan, Union 32 Craft House offers a uniquely Minnesotan proposition. Named for the state's status as the 32nd to join the Union, the establishment is built around a "Beer Wall"--a self-pour monument to local brewing that promises the drinker ultimate autonomy. It is a large, inviting space, designed for the expansive social ritual of a modern taproom.  The culinary offerings here are a pleasant surprise, rising significantly above the standard "hole-in-the-wall" bar fare. The menu feels intentional rather than an afterthought, providing a solid foundation for the liquid education happening at the taps. One cannot fault the quality of the sustenance or the hospitality of the staff, who remain remarkably friendly despite a recurring operational shadow: the house always seems to be exactly one person short. Each shift carries the palpable energy of a team perpetually running a man down, a testament to their grit but a strain on the overall rhythm of the room. However, the centerpiece of the experience--the self-serve technology--is where the friction lies. While the concept of filling one's own glass is liberating, the digital interface lacks a certain clairvoyance. There is nothing quite so deflating as committing to a pour only to have the keg go "bust" mid-stream, or finding that the tap you've selected is already dry. The system requires a more robust marriage of software and cellar management; the guest should not have to be the one to discover a vacancy in the line. "A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure." -- Czech Proverb Union 32 is a noble experiment in craft beer culture, providing a vast playground for the adventurous palate. But until the technology catches up with the inventory, and the roster is filled by that one missing player, it remains a work in progress--even if the beer itself is already a finished masterpiece.
