I got nothing but great things to say. I have worked with Andrew for 3 years now and he never fails. From kitchen sinks to my leaky toilets andrew is the only plumber I will use. This time though my water heater started leaking so I called Jessica the dispatcher she was very professional and did a great job working me into their schedule. Andrew came out the following morning with his helper and they installed the new water heater in 45 minutes. He is very professional and makes sure to keep you in the loop with everything he's doing. All I can say is these guys offer lousy customer service. I hired them to replace two hose bibs on my house and after the work was finished one of the bibs was leaking inside the wall and bubbling out through the brick . I asked them to return and repair the work and they did show up to look at the problem. Now they won't return my calls or repair the shoddy work they performed. I'll have to hire a master plumber to fix my original problem plus repair the damage the leak caused inside the wall of my house. I wouldn't hire these yahoo's to clean my toilets. read more

Andrew is great. I'd give them a 6/5 if possible. We had a bathtub drain slowly plug up over 6 years since a renovation. Andrew came out and ran a power snake but didn't help. They checked the crawl space and found the renovation plumber had the new PVC running uphill, so it slowly filled with sand etc and plugged. It was late in the day and didn't have the supplies so arranged another day to repair it. They cut a cast drain pipe, repaired PVC and gave a 10 year warranty. It should work fine forever. Andrew made 2 trips, 3 guys, nearly 6 hours of time here, the price was excellent. Everyone left their shoes outside, cleaned up everything, and were great to work with. I called the renovation plumber who said they have a 1 year warranty..... Even for mistakes they make! The bottom line I highly recommend Andrew to everyone. read more

Great honest company , dealt with Andrew , he came on Sunday within 10 minutes and charged $20 because it was just a switch that needed to be turned on. We had Dallas plumbing ( the biggest rip off company , hate the fact I paid so much money to them over the years , they nickel and dime you for everything) quote us $250 just to come out on Sunday. Where do I start, City of Plano called stating that my water bill was high this month because the meter was showing 25 gal per minute, I said that is impossible because me and my husband are not home, she said "well the meter reader is at your home now so I told her to keep him there while leaving work driving 70mph trying to make it home. The city said it's not their fault because it's on the opposite of the meter, then called my so called HOA, they said they only cover the sprinkler system, even though I thought they cover anything outside my townhome. My father just received a liver transplant but is having major difficulties so please understand my stress level is intolerable. I set on the couch Friday 4/23/2015 and was just crying my eyes out because this was the wrong time to consider that I had a major leak and be told that it could be under the foundation /Concrete slab and we would be responsible for it. Started to look online waiting for my husband to get home, everything showed closed at 5:00. Continued to look and came pass Planet Earth Plumbing not expecting much, Andrew answered and he was so polite and calm, he stated that he was finishing a Job and happen to be close by and would make a stop on his way to his next appointment. I said wow really thank you, still not thinking that he would come with much, literally too good to be true and way too easy. To my surprise he showed up, me and my husband greeted him and we invited him in which Andrew appeared to be very hands on. He ran the faucets to listen to the drains, listened to the walls, checked the water heater and went to water meter to really begin assessing the problem. Andrew began digging to see if he could alleviate the potential of assuming something was bigger than what it appeared and or sounded like. Andrew was very precise and accurate, he stated that our problem was not too far from the water meter and I thought "definitely don't believe that at 25-30 GPM, lol. Well to my surprise it certainly was, the water pipe had holes in it as if maintenance or ATT@T could have done something while putting in Uverse or replanting? Not sure but his crew fixed the leak and did not compromise on the parts. He actually had the supply store open to get the right fitting because they close at noon on Saturdays. Andrew really cared about our situation and believe he charged us a fraction of the cost which was the best part!! We definitely were blessed to find him and his crew. I would avoid business with Planet Earth Plumbing. I had a leak in my shower, I could tell due to the water under the hardwood floor. My home warranty company assigned the job to Planet Earth plumbing at 11am on Saturday morning. I hear back nothing by 4 pm, so I placed a call to Andrew and left a message outlining the problem and to please call me, I left my cell number. No text, no call and not even a peep out of them. Tuesday (the day after memorial day), Jessica calls from a different number and leaves me a message. I call back and leave her a message to please call, I am sure to mention to her that this is a major problem I was having and that they hadn't responded for 4 days. I try calling her again a couple of hours later, this time Jessica answers the phone with a screaming child in the receiver. I know that emergencies happen (I was having one myself) and sometimes one needs to take their child to work, or work from home, but if you can't hear what is being said then the call becomes pointless. I canceled the service call to them, I had Doctor Rooter come, they showed up 45 minutes after the warranty company assigned it to them. They brought a camera and were alble to ascertain the problem within minutes. I will NEVER use planet Earth Plumbing ever. When I called Andrew back to let him know this, he send me a text saying it has been reassigned. How do these folks stay in business I will never know. read more

He seemed super nice but then didn't hear back from him for 3 weeks which then I had to e-mail him and wonder if we are still good to go. Andrew has been very responsive to our questions and requests all along. Recently, we contacted Andrew to get our water heater replaced. Andrew responded immediately with a reasonable quote. He did a great job with the installation and replacement. He even helped us save more money by identifying few pipes that do not need to be replaced. He's a very honest and detailed guy. We noticed a slight gas leak this week and contacted Andrew again on Saturday night. Andrew responded immediately and came to our house immediately on Sunday morning. This is a such a great company. Our hot water heater broke in one of our rental properties. We called and the communication was quick and great. They schedule an appointment by a couple of days so they could check the warranty. They wanted to make sure we were not paying for more than we need to. Then the plumber (Andrew) contacted us and asked to check a few things by ourselves in order to see if it was a quick fix that he wouldn't even need to come out for. **I just realized my review was not recommended..not sure why. I had originally written this back in July. ** We had just moved into our home and during the unpacking process, our daughter discovered the carpet in her closet was completely soaked. Since her closet was adjacent to the guest bathroom, we assumed the issue was a leak from the toilet since there was a crack along the base. This occurred during the weekend and we couldn't find a plumber willing to come out that wouldn't charge us a fortune for after hours service. I had called and left Andrew a message and he called back Sunday afternoon. He was able to come the next day and diagnose the problem. A new toilet was ordered and after he left we discovered that the leak wasn't from the toilet (as the valve had been turned off) but from one of the faucets. I immediately called Andrew back explaining the new problem. He said it wouldn't be a problem. He would check it out when he comes back to replace the toilet. Turns out, the leak was from a mis-aligned/broken joint in the pipe. Although a hole had to be cut out in the closet to reach the problem, we're glad Andrew was able to fix and resolve the problem fairly quickly. Hopefully we won't have too many plumbing issues in the future but if we should, we definitely know who to call - Andrew! Excellent service!!! Thanks Andrew!!! read more

I had a broken valve at my tub and couldn't turn the water on until it was fixed. I sent a yelp message in the middle of the night and Andrew got back to me that morning saying that he could come first thing in the morning the next day. He came to my house on time and said that he couldn't fix it until the tiles around the valve were removed (he would have fixed it right away if my fireplace wasn't in the way), so he got his friend to come by a few hours later to remove the tiles. Before he left, I told him that I had a class to go to at 6 and it'd be great if he could finish by 5:30, he was very accommodating and said that if he had to move other appointments around he would since they weren't as urgent as mine. He came back soon after his friend left and fixed the valve quickly for me, allowing us to turn the water back on without it spraying everywhere in the tub. After that, I told him about how the drain for our washing machine was clogging up. He fixed it right away and it hasn't been clogged since. He did all of this within a span of two hours!! The next day, his friend came back to re-tile, re-grout, and put the trim back on our tub. I found that the cost of fixing my valve and unclogging my drain to be very reasonable, fair, and worth the amount of time, energy, and effort Andrew had put into it. And if you want to know my opinion about the cost of re-grouting and re-tiling my tub, I also found that to be reasonable and fair (it looked beautiful (compared to our old, moldy grout lol)). All-in-all, Andrew is a nice and clean guy who'll get the job done quickly and correctly. I highly recommend him and would use his services again. Also his friend's. My water heater decided to stop working late afternoon/early evening this past Saturday. I started looking for recommendations on yelp and on the Nextdoor app. I called a couple of the big name multiple commercial advertising on TV plumbing companies before I found Planet Earth Plumbing. To this day, I have not heard back from either of the two big name plumbing companies. I called Planet Earth Plumbing and Andrew text back asking if it was OK if he called me back because he was tied up. I just started communicating with him via text. Andrew came out the next morning just to fix a piece of the heater so I could at least get water into the house, and use our toilets. He came back out on Monday morning once he was able to find the heater that I needed. Once he arrived, he was all business. He and his partner took the old unit out, put the new one in and even cleaned up in no time at all. Andrew was extremely friendly, explained to me what he was doing. Andrew was a bit late on Monday, to no fault of his own. He had someone from his office reach out and let me know that he was running late and would be here by a certain time. Andrew was extremely honest and very fair priced. I would call Planet Earth Plumbing back out for any plumbing issues I may have. Hopefully not any time soon, but in case I do have issues, I will know who to go to. read more

Please excuse the rather lengthy review below. Andrew S. Wood was scheduled to come over today from 8:00-10:00 AM. So, I took the morning off and waited patiently for Andrew. Being an Attorney, time is a commodity I do value. At around 8:20 A.M., I noticed there was a voicemail from Andrew's office asking me to call them back, although I never heard the phone ring. When I immediately returned the call, Jessica at the office (the lady who makes all of Andrew's appointments) immediately started off our conversation with "But we tried to call you!" When I asked her that my phone never rang, being in a spotty cell area in Prosper TX, she defensively started repeating the same phrase "But we tried to call you!" During our, albeit, brief conversation, every sentence from Jessica began with "But we tried to call you!". I know several plumbers around the DFW area and they give you at least three courtesy calls before canceling the appointment. I understand this is necessary due to the expense of traveling and homeowner no-shows. However, with Andrew and Planet Earth Plumbing, ONCE is all you are given. For Andrew and Jessica, "But we tried to call you!" is sufficient to get out of an appointment. I certainly won't be using these guys at all and will certainly let everyone I know on the next door app in the Prosper area to NOT CONSIDER THESE AMATEURS. OCTAVIO- To respond to Andrew S. Wood's reply, during the entire conversation, I hear "but we tried to call you!", imagine the frustration at not being able to have a reasonable conversation with the person on the other end. The appointment was scheduled for 8-10 and Andrew writes that he was proposing to come by during the appointment. But All Jessica knows is "but we tried to call you!". I apologize for saying "Go to he** for wasting my time" and I should not have lowered myself to that level. I apologize, Jessica. Please read the other one star reviews and you will see a pattern with Planet Earth Plumbing. Thank you, Andrew S. Planet Earth Plumbing is an awesome business. I've used their services before in the past for a toilet plumbing fix. They were on time, priced reasonably, and got the job done. This time though, had small issue with garbage disposal. Garbage disposal was humming, and then didn't turn on. Quickly and easily made arrangments for plumber to come out. But then Planet Earth called me and talked me through the problem. Turns out garbage disposal just needed to be reset! Now garbage disposal works! Super honest and helpful business.
