Unlike most Planet Fitness location, this particular location has very good air conditioning policies. The place stays much cooler than most other Planet Fitness locations in the area that we've visited. The staff here are incredibly friendly and are very supportive. All of their machines are very well taken care of. There's hardly any instances where the equipment are out of order, and if they are, they don't stay down for very long at all. The staff are very quick to address mechanical issues with any of the equipment. It's a very spacious environment compared to other places and it's also very well lit inside. Okay my only complaint at this time is that the showers do not have hot water available. At best, the shower water is at room temperature. But not a deal breaker by any means. read more

I been going here for years but now they "updated" and "upgraded" the whole gym. They eliminated the 30 minute circuit workout. Now they only have a few busted up ab machine that puts a lot of strain on your neck to try and use them. I been coming to this gym since 2018. Yesterday I came in and noticed that my membership was canceled. So I talked to a team member. I was told I need to talk to a manager. So the manager came up and accuse me of peeing in the shower restroom. Also he told me he been watching me . That called harassment. The manger here is very unprofessional So I told them that I didn't do it but okay I well take it up with costumer Service. I really think this gym needs a new manager. read more

Super clean location with a friendly staff. Clientele is a good mix of young , old , blue collar and be professional types. Plenty of lockers , tanning beds and a red light therapy chamber. This gym used to be sparkling clean. Now it is not clean and has multiple broken machines, towel dispenser in in circuit area and inoperable sink in ladies' bathroom. By far the best Planet Fitness I've been to. Eddie & Deejay are great always greeting, welcoming and wishing farewell sincerely. This gym has nice equipment. Has higher dumbbells than my home planet fitness. It has way better layout and airflow. And the coolest thing is these guys actually take pride in their gym. After only being at Weatherford for a month and getting staph & ringworm, I really appreciate their approach & dedication to their job. When I saw Deejay deep cleaning yesterday, I told him, man I really appreciate you doing that. He looked a lil confused. I spent almost $75 dollars on tolnaftate, fungal killers, creams, sprays hydrocortisone & other sterilizing products to carry in my gym bag. Planet Fitness has a great buy in. I wish all of them were held to the same standards as far as cleanliness & keeping the most current equipment & enough of it, with the proper amounts of cardio to weights. The gym manager here at Camp Bowie has done an excellent job. His crew does an excellent job. I may occasionally have to work out at Weatherford out of convenience, but if my life allows, I will plan my day around making it from there to here to be with these guys & their solid work within and gym. I really thought I was gonna have to get a second gym membership as my home PF is more of a cardio club or tanning salon. I'm so glad I happened to map search and find out this is actually pretty close to one of my first meetings in the am. And I really love how much more welcoming the staff here has been. LUEsean - SCREW-A-YUE!!! Wouldn't let me work out because this wasn't my home location. Explained that I signed up less than 90 days ago, at a location in another state, and they won't let me switch until 90 days have passed. I just moved here. He told me I had to physically go to my home gym and switch it there. Bro, they're 1,200 miles away. Told me he'd let me work out if I gave him $5. Huh??? I bet he feels pretty big being the gate keeper of denying people from bettering themselves and exercising. I came at 9 on a Sunday. I was one of maybe 6 cars in the parking lot. The gyms empty. P.F. provides many perks, just for checking in! They have one employee that goes above and beyond. He knows everybody's name that walks in and knows all the answers to your questions. The Planet Fitness Rep even shares his faith sometimes. I think, this why, I like this gym so much? It is rare, that you see customer service like this. When you recognize something great your able to cherish it. It creates a whole other dynamic. Planet Fitness has been implementing sanitizing way before Covid-19 began. They are taking the virus serious. The doors are left open to allow any germs to escape. P.F has touchless check ins. That way your not in contact with anyone. Sanitizing stations are made visible with a flag. This is helpful because, you can't miss it! Social Fitnessing signs are placed on every other work out machine. That way your sweat droplets won't get on anybody. Lol. Mask are to be worn, even when your on the treadmill! Trainer is really nice. He listens well and is very respectful. A work out plan was created just for me. My plan included strength equipment, cables, stretching and the use of the Planet Fitness App. Not to brag but, I'm already seeing results! Lol! Areas of development include: pick up trash out front, fix work out equipment when needed and any maintenance issues in the restroom. Parking lot needs some work. Do you need some help? I am a black card member & get to visit a lot of Planet Fitness clubs. I usually enjoy my workouts & the clubs but just had a less than good experience in this particular location. I checked in and after cycling for 20 Mins was approached by an employee (Daenile?)) who told me I couldn't put a bag on the floor. I thought this might be because it could be a tripping hazard so I asked him to hand it to me and I put it on the handlebars of my bike and he walked away. After I was done, I moved over to a leg press machine and made sure to put the bag between me and the apparatus so nobody could trip on it. He immediately approached me again, and told me that I could not have my bag on the floor even if it was between me and the machine. I let him know that I would hold it in my lap then and he said that I could not do that I needed to use the club lockers. He told me that this was a policy unique to this club because they had had members come in with "crazy" objects, including axes. Axes?!?!! As I was visiting town, and did not want to risk losing my wallet and ID, I didn't want to use the club provided lockers, not knowing how secure they were. I offered to let them look through my bag (a small canvas tote), but they said I could not, and would need to use the club lockers. I had to end my work out really early and was not happy at all with this experience. My advice: don't come here if you have a bag you want to keep on you. And I'm not even sure what to think about their members that bring those dangerous items in. read more

The Planet Fitness on Camp Bowie is a great fitness facility. The employees seem to enjoy working there as they are always cheerful & greet you by name with a big smile. Their employees, Tristan, Tristan 2 & Eddie are very helpful & welcoming. The equipment is clean & in good working order. And the facility also appears hygienic with employees always cleaning it. And best of all, it's never been crowded & I've never had to wait in line for a machine. I can recommend this fitness facility wholeheartedly. read more

Honestly, I have been coming here for about a month now. I have never had an issue with the machines not working or cleanliness. Everything is and looks super clean and taken care of. I am a black card member so even the massage chairs, hydro massage beds are nice and clean. This gym is in a kind of sketchy part of town, but you can't beat the price. For 22$ a month you have full use of the 24/hr gym, tanning, hydrobeds, massage chairs, and you can bring a friend for free. The staff is really friendly and helpful, tanning beds always clean. The Planet Fitness on Camp Bowie is clean & fresh, with brightly painted equipment and plethora of big screen tvs. The locker rooms are always clean and fresh as well. I have to admit - after about 6 months of going to this Planet Fitness, I looked into another club with more free weight options. Never crowded, clean facility and friendly staff.

The first thing I said when I walked into this gym was "dange it smells good in here!" Another big impression was the friendly staff that greeted my sister and I upon entering the gym. She is the one with the membership and I was simply tagging along as her plus one. The gentlemen got some info from me and expressed if I ever returned with her all I would need is to put my number in. I really appreciated not having the pressure of being asked to sign up for membership. I felt as if I already was a member which is a plus. The place is equipped with treadmills, ellipticals, stair masters, weight machines and free weights. They also have a 30 min workout session that you can go into. There's a green and res light that tells you when to start and stop to move to the next station. I was really impressed. After my workout, I was able to test the hydro massage chair! It was amazing!! As a visitor I get one free trial run to test it out. There are also more traditional massage chairs and tanning beds as additional perks along with a certain level membership. Unfortunately there isn't a place for children to go, so unfortunately this will not be a gym that I or my wife could sign up for, but for others this a great place to start getting your body where you want it. been coming here for a month or so. always come late at night and after 3 hours of working out me and my guest usually relax after our work out. i use the hydro massage bed and my guest uses the massage chair. new dude that's in training says we both have to be black card members and tells my guest they can't be in the lounge. first thing.. the massage chairs are outside of the "exclusive to black member holders" sign. and my guest has always been allowed in with many other employees. this is the only dude that gives me issues. please train your employees better. moving to another PF fitness from now on read more

I was working out on the treadmill, and the gentlemen at club asked me to put a mask on. I told him in the FAQ section that masks were only required if you weren't actively working out. Said it didn't matter, but I go to other PF's and they abide by that rule. He wouldn't help us switch home gyms, told is hundreds and thousands of people were dying from covid (in reality a lot of people die from cancer, heart disease, etc), and just wanted to argue with us the whole time. What I find concerning during these times is that we are supposed to refer to what is in writing, until it doesn't fit the agenda. I've been a member here for 3 months. The gym is great as long as you dont want to shower after your workout. They do not have consistent hot water. Most of the time theres no hot water at all. Hopefully another location will open nearby soon. read more
