Let's talk Stretch Lab. I was a member for about 4 months. I truly enjoyed the benefits. Started to…read morefeel better within a couple of sessions. My stretchologist Antonio was awesome. Always made sure to listen to what my problems were and developed a plan to make sure I was taken care of. I signed for the three month initial term with the option to cancel after that. I got 8 sessions a month and if you do not use the sessions during that billing cycle you lose them. They do not roll over. If you cancel a session within a certain time period you lose that session also. This place is pricey so take that into account when signing up. Make sure to have them explain each and very policy and procedure. You need to cancel within 31 days so if you are planning to leave in 30 days you will still have to pay for an additional month. It gets better. Keep reading. The issue comes with the customer service and policies. Depending on who the front desk person is that day depends on the level of service you would get. Most were friendly. The management team is not the friendliest to deal with. Google Stretch Lab complaints. You will see all over the country this is a major issue. Trying to cancel is not easy and definitely not a pleasant experience. You are told one thing in person and when you try to exercise the options presented, you are told that is not correct and to review your agreement. I was paying almost $600 a month for 8 sessions. I travel a lot for work and you cannot use your membership and sessions at any other location that is not owned by that franchise. You can go on the website logged into your account and it will show you different locations and even will let you book. But management will tell you that is not possible because they will lose money. You can only use your sessions in Fort Worth and Mansfield. Since I was moving and could not use my sessions in my new city, even though there is a Stretch Lab about 30-45 minutes way, I was told I could transfer them to someone else to use. Was not told they had to be used in Fort Worth or Mansfield only. I had set up for one of my friends who is a local sports reporter to try out StretchLab. He set up an account by his house and when I called to transfer them over to him I was told that was not allowed. He was definitely disappointed since I was not the full details when I asked verbatim. But remember it is in your agreement. Overall, I was not happy with the lack of knowledge of policies and consistency amongst all employees. Being told one thing when that is not exactly true and finding out the contrary when you rely on that information to your detriment. There are pretty of other comparable options where you can get the same benefits with more agreeable business practices. Yet again, this is not an isolated issue. Look up via Google all of the issue people all over the country are having regarding these same issues. Do not waste your time.

I thought it would just be assisted stretching, teaching me, etc. But this is much more, the difference is fantastic. In addition to my neck and traps, Antonio helped with my very tight lower body. I am definitely going back! I plan on trying this for a few months to help me get where I want, and then hopefully be more disciplined and maintaining.

The environment is upscale and very friendly and welcoming. The staff is knowledgeable, uplifting, personable, and genuine. Locker rooms are well stocked with amenities, even hair bands if you forgot one! Pro-tip: It's best not to wear make up at all because you'll likely sweat it all off, but if you do, make sure you bring make up remover to clean it off after class and your make up to redo it if needed.

I assumed it would be a nicer studio bc of the location but it's the worst yoga studio i have ever…read morebeen too. Classes were super overcrowded, literally no space to do a few of the moves. They charge enough, but i think they are trying to squeeze every dime; they should limit the classes. The instructor was not visible from the middle to back of room and so not only could you not see her, you had to follow the person in front of you and often then not she was doing something different than the person next to her. The music is loud and their mic speakers are not, so you cannot hear anything the instructor is saying, leaving you to just guess for the entire class. (They have enough people, why doesn't management invest in some update mics for her trainers???) Instructor walked around a lot, but never to correct anyone's form; I honestly don't know what she was walking around for. But she hardly did any of the moves so it was poorly instructed. C45 (their main offer) is definitely not a yoga class either it's more like a HIIT class. They really need to take just a few seconds and add descriptions to their classes. It's really not that hard and several people have suggested this in the past from what I can read. But the worst thing? The smell. It was absolutely disgusting in there. It wasnt so bad standing up but as soon as you laid down, the smell was overpowering. Im guessing they used dirty mop water or never mopped at all and everyones sweat was layer ok the floor. I literally had to leave during the stretching part bc i could not stomach lying down in that gross stench. I am not sure why the location is so popular, maybe because some of these young girls don't know that there are better studios that offer more elevated experiences. But definitely would not recommend this studio. It is just disgusting.

CycleBar waterside is amazing! Here's everything I know from the past month training with them:…read more FOR BEGINNERS: I've been doing spin for about six years. If I could tell beginners one thing it is that you cannot have an ego going in. The instructors will give you a quick run down on how they teach, and always encourage you to modify where you need to. I am a bigger human who is out of shape at the moment, and I've not once felt out of place in this class. I'm pretty sensitive to instructors who talk about calories, "earning food", etc. and not a single instructor at waterside has given me those vibes. INSTRUCTORS: I haven't yet taken all of the instructors, but here's what I know so far! Keenan - I don't want to tell you how good Keenan's Tuesday connect class is because I don't want to have trouble booking in, but this class is high energy, fast paced, and incredibly fun. His class is good for people who want a challenge and lots of choreography. If you get bored easily, Keenan's class does not stop. ANY class can be taken by a beginner, but if you're new to spin I wouldn't start here. Bre - Bre's classes make me feel more connected to myself than any other class. If you love motivation and connection, Bre is your girl. I leave every class feeling happier. Her class is good for all experience levels and I think specifically great for trying to level up. There are so many moments where I've pushed myself to the next level with Bre. She knows how to get you there. Joni - Joni's classes are hard and fun. If you want to work on your technique and choreography I'd say Joni's class is for you. I'd say her classes vary in difficulty level, but it's never the same thing twice. I would say Joni's class is great for beginners because she is super helpful. She is uplifting and always has a smile on her face. Alana - Alana's classes are great if you love to be out of the saddle and not do as much choreo. I've only had the opportunity to take one class with Alana, but it was a great time. I think Alana's class would be best for beginners. I've taken team teach rides with Tyler and Alex, which just means I know much less about their teaching styles but here is what I learned: Tyler - Tyler gives you the opportunity to push yourself to the next level. She is super encouraging Alex - Alex is tough love and not in the way that makes you cringe. He wants you to push to your next level and is super encouraging as he gets you there.

Keenan is the BEST! He's energy and motivation is contagious…read more There are several instructors and all have their own way of teaching/techniques. Most classes are super easy and beginner level in terms of cycling so it's a great place to start if you never taken indoor cycling before. Keenan's class is a bit more for challenging and for experienced riders and his choreo is great. Always a good workout. So there's something for everyone here.
