I was in the area and decided to check out this location of Planet Fitness. It's similar to most of the other gyms in the area, lots of different cardio and weight lifting machines. There was a water refill station and a cooler with beverage's to purchase. This location doesn't have much room to stretch in their "stretch" area without getting in the way of the people trying to walk to the machines but I think you can take mats into other areas that have more space. This location was very clean and the people working were friendly. read more

Out of the 5 PF locations I have visited in the past week, this one sucks the most. It started with the front desk. The lady up front told me that in order for me to check a guest in, I have to have the app. Again, none of the other 4 locations I went to demand I have the app. I have an older phone and do not DL apps unless it is for navigation. All my banking/shopping/betting/game apps are on my tablet. She "let us slide" this time, but told us to make sure the next time we come in we have the app. No thank you. I do not want to haul around my tablet to work out. I think I'll just pass on this location and go back to the 4. Some of the machines are noisy anyway, like they need to either be greased or bolts tightened. Another thing is that the bottle filler at the water fountain wasn't working. The fountain itself was, so I did it manually. Also, music selection was about 90% bachata when I went. I like the other locations that tend to sprinkle in a little of everything for everyone...mixing up genres so everyone gets a fair listen. read more

This planet fitness employees are so rude except one gentleman with blue eyes. when you ask them a question they'll come back to you saying "I've been working here for two years so I don't know what you're talking about"(the ladies employees with glasses). I think it's ridiculous how guest can't get the options as black card members if it paying for the black card and when you ask about it the employees are rude about it. You can't ask anything without them complaining back that they've worked here and you don't. read more

Today 6-29-26 at 3:00AM I arrived the planet fitness on 5121 W Glendale Ave Glendale AZ to workout, but the club was entirely closed despite their posted business hours indicating they should be open. I was highly disappointed by the lack of reliability, as it completely DISRUPTED my schedule. As a Paying member, I expect the club to be Open during business hours. This incident is not the first time I've experienced this, I Hope management addresses this Operational Issue so members can depend on Consistent access. read more

friendly PSA that as a girl, you are not welcomed by staff members. Peter will harass you throughout your workout and scream at you if you don't acknowledge him. April (assistant manager) is the only way the place is in good standing and it's apparent. Chris has done nothing but refer to Peter as a "Godly man" and CLAIM he is taking action on this. yet I have been told instead of worrying about it to come in when Peter gets off shift... the only appeal to this location was 25/8. just disappointing, never transferred so quickly!!! read more

I have been a member at this gym location for 5+ years and for the most part it has been great. But it keeps seeming to have issues that put its members health at risk. Today, there was a PF message on the water fountain that it was, "Out of Order." Shocked and kinda confused by this I walked the whole gym looking for another water fountain, thinking, they have to at least have water available for its member... it is a gym right? After not finding one, I asked the girls at the front desk and they casually said "no, there isn't another water fountain" - not a sorry or even an explanation. I enjoy Planet Fitness as a whole, but this specific one, is obviously the outlier. read more

I'd give les than one star if I could because really... how hard is it to run a tanning machine? Few buttons? They can't even train these folks they hire to do that. I moved from North Phoenix and started using this location for tanning. Last Sunday 12/3/23 they could not get it to work, I had to walk back out to get them to try again. Same thing tonight. The young woman working is fiddling with the Ipad for tanning, then her keypad, told me there was a 5 minute delay, I go in, it doesn't turn on. That's frustrating too. So I went back out, said forget it, now I will go in tomorrow and cancel because I won't support any gym that can't bother to train their employees in the most simple tasks. This location is a joke. Silver lining, I'll save money now. My Psoriasis will get bad, yet it's worth it not to deal with that gym ever again. Update - I just went to the PF site and you can cancel there now!!! That is awesome. No more having to go in and deal with folks who probably weren't trained in how to cancel an account anyways. Another Update - PF responded to me here, so for a moment I thought they cared about their customers. Yet as soon as I emailed them with what they asked, they told ME to contact the manager at this location to do THEIR job!!! They can't even bother training their customer service right. Won't go back to this location. Just went for our 3rd time and this time was asked for id in addition to the app AND picture on their system since we have a membership from another location. i asked why after 2 times, and was told 'i'll have to talk to my staff' they were supposed to. we've been to many locations and never asked for id as well as the rest. The biggest issue is the attitude -- no customer service just 'that's my way'. someone needs customer training ! read more

Decided to get a membership here recently. Chose this location because it got the best out of all the nearby PFs in my area (I drive 20 minutes for this location). Staff is friendly, the equipment is clean and so is the gym area overall. It's never crowded when I come. Not sure if that's the time (around 8am), but even on the weekends I don't see many people here. Which is actually amazing because the gym is quiet and to me empty gyms are much better than packed! Only downfall is that you have to pay for a lock on the locker. Most PF gyms have the lock already configured into the locker, but not this location. I just bring my phone/headphones and car key inside with me. read more

I recently signed up at this gym due to Youfit's screw up. I signed up for the black card for $20/month. With the black card however you are required a contract for a year but only a $1 enrollment fee. I've been here a few times and love it more than I thought I would even like it. The staff members are always friendly. The gym is busy during peak hours in late afternoons like most gyms but aren't too packed. Their hydro beds and hydro chairs are my favorite after my workouts. It massages your body parts to your choosing and is like foam rolling my body out without the work! I go here 3-4 times a week so for $10 a month this is an excellent! Staff is always pleasant and happy to help. Bathrooms and floors are always clean. Plenty of entertainment with the TV's and plenty of different machines to work out every muscle you'd want. Oh, and I LOVE bagel days! read more

I go to planet fitness around the valley as I travel for work. The thing that disappoints me in this gym is that the shower curtains are always dirty and some showers are grimy towards the bottom. If I want to work out during the day when I get a moment and shower, I feel like I have to avoid touching the curtains which is too bad. Otherwise, staff and equipment are nice and no problems. Love this gym! When it first opened I was kind of skeptical because of the color, yes the color. Not only was the color a little too purple for my eyes, but the reviews I've seen on youtube were pretty bad I decided to give it try because the location was so close to my house. I walked in and quickly greeted with by the manager. The manager asked what my interest was and explained that for $10 dollars I have access to that location only and to only the gym itself. If I got the "black card" for $20 a month I will gain access to the entire gym including the massage chair, self tanning and any planet fitness. Also the black card gets you access to the personal training sessions offered throughout the day which is a great highlight to the gym. I got not only the black card but a free t shirt for signing up. The gym also has 24 hour access which I really love. like any another gym don't go during the peak times in the evening between 5-9pm. The gym is always clean and well organized. I love the location,the price and atmosphere. read more

I come to this gym 3 to 4 times a week. I'm always greeted when I come in and when I leave. It's a really clean gym, with great massage chairs and functioning machines. I used to go to 24 hour fitness but it was 30 dollars a person and the machines were always broke. Planet Fitness is NOT like that. For 20 dollars I can bring any guest I want each day and I get access to personal trainers if i choose to make an appointment. Is it as big as some of their competitor gyms? No. But I think this is a great place if you're just trying to focus on a general, healthy workout routine. It has all the necessary stations to workout the different muscles and there's even 30 minute workout stations that focus on specific training goals. It's been a great investment for me so far. read more

Been going here for about 2 years now. The gym is pretty clean most of the time. Shower curtains get gross sometimes (like, how bro?) But the place is nice. The staff is pretty chill. The crowds come on Monday evenings, so I stay away at that time, but usually there isn't much competition over equipment. Good times. read more

I travel for a living, so have the opportunity of visiting a lot, and I mean a lot of Planet Fitnesses. This one by far is the cleanest, uncrowded, and helpful staff ones that I have visited. The only reason I didn't give five stars, was because it is also the only Planet Fitness that I have visited, which their dumbbells only go up to 65lbs. read more

I give this facility 3 stars for its general appearance and the services that it provides. This location is pretty clean compared to most gyms I have been too. The water massage tables are very comfortable for either after working out or for a good warm up. Occasionally it seems like One is always leaking. The machines and work out stations are fairly clean. Staff here is not very personable and there always seems to be new people working here. I recently canceled my membership and due to the incompetence of one of the staff...it did not get done properly. I ended being charged for three additional months before I caught it. Corporate Planet Fitness is worthless when it comes to any type of help due to the fact this location is Independently owned. I give it 2 stars because of this. Can promise you will never sign up at another planet fitness due to corporate structure in place. read more

Machines are frequently broken, bathrooms are gross frequently missing toilet paper and soap and the stalls are so dirty in the corner s you could use a putty kindergarten to clean them. The members are great, staff seem to be disengaged. TVs don't work on treadmill. Sort of wish I did not join, because there are many cleaner and more functional gyms. read more

This is a really nice fitness center. I haven't been to the gym in years because I am actively involved w/ CrossFit so coming here tonight was the first visit for me to the gym in over 5 years. This gym may not be in the best location but it's very clean. I mean, overly clean. It's designed really nice and it's also very spacious. I went w/ my friend who is a member & her membership allows her to bring a friend to workout w/ her whenever she goes. I was craving a nice run & I tested out their treadmills for my 2 mile run, it was great. I would definitely come back when my body craves that cardio. read more
