i got a new card and so they charged my account and my debit card didn't work. I called back within an hour of them notifying me and they charged me $25 for the late fee. this is a terrible way to treat your customers. this gym is fine but you would expect for how slow it is and how little customers they have, that they'd be doing what they can to retain their customers. I tried to cancel my membership but they told me I'd have even more fees to pay. I would give them negative stars if I could solely because of customer care. read more

I was a member and after my credit card had been hacked, I changed the billing card and was told all was taken care of. Then, after multiple emails from their billing dept., claiming there was a problem, I made multiple trips to the gym to correct any errors, I was repeatedly told that all was taken care of and current. Finally, after yet another email, I went and cancelled my membership, but was told I could not cancel my son's since his dues were not paid. After being repeatedly told that everything was current and paid. At this point, they became hostile when I reminded them of their previous statements. I then hand delivered a letter to one who claimed to be the manager, asking him to read it and call me to resolve the issue. He has failed to respond. I asked for the owner's name, and was told they would not tell me who it is. I have sent a registered letter to OWNER, and will see if there is any response. I doubt they will deliver it to the owner. read more

Not only did I get a fungal infection on my hands from this unsanitary establishment, there is not a single fan in this entire gym. If you enjoy a hot stuffy environment while working out along with an array of germs everywhere you go on everything you touch, this is the gym for you. For as many employees as this place has that stand around and do nothing, you'd think some simple cleaning protocol would go into place during their down time. Never once seen a broom, mop, vacuum, or any wiping down of any equipment since I've been a member of this gym aside from one single gentleman. The same questionable sludge has been hanging out in the locker room sinks for the last 6+ months. This gym is also seriously lacking attachments for their cables as well as normal clips, so when the gym is busy good luck finding something to utilize during your workout. This could be a great gym if the owners/managers care. There is still a sign on one of their separate fitness room doors announcing the mask mandate at the start of covid... that was 2020. 2 years ago. Also in bad taste that this gym offers a daycare yet the music they blast is dropping the n word over and over again, amongst other incredibly raunchy songs. This is a gym. How this fitness facility is still up and running is such mystery to me. Don't get me wrong the gym itself is great, lots of space and never really crowded. It's always a hit or miss when the gym will have good running AC, especially within the basketball court. I believe the real issue is the manager Mr. Q, he's definitely not fit to manage that place and the way he belittles his members is just awful. I hear how his employees speak about him and it's not great. I absolutely hate the fact that you can't even use your own basketball and you HAVE to you use their horrible street basketballs for an indoor gym? I primarily come here to run and swim but there are quite a lot of machines as well as free weights. Very clean gym with great customer service. The pool is heated to about mid-80s making it more than bearable. There is also a jacuzzi for recovery after longer, more arduous training. I will continue be a member for years to come! read more

I had a good experience until now. Tonight 5-10mins before they close and with about 5 people here working out. I started physical therapy today from a tear pec/shoulder injury that I actually injured here at this gym. I wanted to do these exercises from what I learned today. They have this cable machine that I wanted to use because the weights goes down to 5 lbs. That machine was taken by these kids and they just started their workout. There's an area in this gym, "females only" which basically have couple machines and low dumbbell weights. I thought it was be okay to quickly use the cable machine for my physical therapy exercises for 5mins before they close. The front desk lady approached me and told me you're in the "females only area". I told her I know but there's no one here, the gym closes in 5mins and I just wanted to do this exercise for my torn pec that I injured here! Her response, "you're in the females only area". Seriously!? 5 mins before they close and I can't do my physical therapy exercises here?! I pay $30 month and I can't spend 5 mins doing these exercises in a almost empty gym. Smh. read more

The establishment was empty. I walked in and was greeted by two lads who seemed friendly. I stated my case. A weary traveler in need of a place to train. They looked me over and offered this. $16.39 for a one day pass to their facility. I countered, if I pay the $16.39 can I come back tomorrow when I need to train as well. He declined. I said no thanks and left. For $10 I could get a one month membership at Planet Fitness or EoS. Alas, I traveled down the road a bit and received a ONE WEEK free pass to LA Fitness. read more

I signed up when they opened because some kids were handing out flyers and the place looked amazing. The flyers advertised fitness classes on demand, a cardio movie theater, a spa a juice bar and some other things. I went and checked it out and it looked really nice, so I signed up. The next day, i regretted my decision. The pool was out of service, no juice bar, NO CLASSES whatsoever. Just empty rooms and the "spa" is just a dry sauna. Im told by everyone I ask when these things will be happening and I was told every time "any day now". That day never came. I was there the day they had to close because of the virus and the pool was JUST fixed. Still no classes, still no juice bar.....isnt false advertising illegal?? Oh and one other thing I found strange. The flyer says Peoria, but then lists the address as Glendale...but the name is Phoenix. read more

The girl behind the counter stood there talking with her friend while I waiting to be helped. When a low in the conversation came she finally came over and asked what I wanted I showed her the free 3 day trail pass I had gotten from the web site and she immediately told me they are not doing that because of Covid but I could sign up and still work out. When I tried to explain I just got the email today and that my wife use the same pass two days ago She cut me off and just said good day and wouldn't let me finish. I planned on singing up but after that encounter I'd rather just go somewhere else. If they are truly not allowing the free passes to be used then they need to stop sending out the emails with the free passes or say that on the web site. read more

As a former worker of this facility I encourage anyone that is looking to work here DONT unless you like to get cheated out of your pay. I was hired on as supervisor and was promised 13.15 pay upon hire, but I only received that pay for training. Once I got started my pay got dropped to 12.15 without my knowledge. On top of that Quintano Drake is not the owner, he is a liar as well as messes with everyone's money wether you work for him or are a member to the gym. Keep a close Eye on your money when doing business with this cheap place. Those annual fees are not being put to good use. It's supposed to go to the maintenance and up keep of the gym which none of that gets done as equipment is loose and falling apart. The amount of screws members have brought to my attention that they found laying near the machines I wouldn't feel safe working out here. Outstanding gym. Super clean. Like the cleanest most sanitary gym I've been in. Very affordable rates including packages for personal training & to bring a friend. Unlike some of the other gyms it doesn't get too crowded. Even at peak time I never have to wait for equipment. The pool is the best I've seen for lap swimming in the valley, & there is an excellent aquatics class, the teacher is great. Hot tub. Separate male and female saunas. There's a womens' workout area and a private workout as an option. Very pleasing and latest equipment. They literally have everything. Sleds, platform, Olympic weights and i forget the names of the new machines that are so fun to use, they won't let you cheat but reduce pain. The gym is welcoming to kids. My boys love it. A play area for kids care is there. Also there is basketball science classes most evenings for kids, so cool. The staff is very friendly, humble, not pushy, & just cool. There's a great attitude in the gym, no egos. Very encouraging & inviting for any level of fitness. Very safe and comfortable for woman. There is just plenty of space. At EOS or other gyms like that the environment & attitudes aren't as pleasant and everything is crammed in & crowded. Also included in memberships are the use of massage chairs. Please join this gym. If I could give it 0 I would. In August, I moved home to Ohio. I tried to cancel my membership recently after realizing I forgot to do so. Note, it's a 3 hour time difference. I called and they told me I'd have to physically come in and sign the papers...Not possible. I asked to speak to a manager, of course he wasn't there. Called the next day. Was told she had to go ask the manager what to do and once I asked to speak to the manager he was all of a sudden not there...but the owner was, who also refused to get on the phone. The next person who got on the phone, ANDY, had the nerve to say "you should've came in and canceled before you moved." Which I explained, I had contemplated even being alive which is why I moved home very suddenly. To which he replied "well, I can't do anything about that." I then asked to speak to the owner once again, nope he refused to come to the phone. This is the worst customer service I have ever received at an establishment. So, here I am still paying $10/month for a crappy gym with an owner who refuses to even help a customer or hire someone who has respect.
