If you're looking for terrible customer service, look no further than Miranda. She clearly has no interest in being helpful or polite. Every interaction with her feels like you're inconveniencing her just by existing. She's dismissive, unprofessional, and has no sense of basic customer service etiquette. It's honestly baffling how someone with such a bad attitude keeps a job here when so many people would be happy to provide better service. So aside from all of the silly stuff allowed at this gym, I was told today that members will no longer be allowed to have gym bags on the floors, what kind of BS is this?! Not sure what the point of this is, it does not make any type of sense. Dirty homeless people are constanlty walking in and out, Weights are never put back in proper place. Trash left on floors. People standing around hogging machines. And they are worried about gym bags not allowed in floors they either have to be left in cars or in locker. I'm bringing a bag in because I have stuff I need inside, I'm not carrying to look cute. As I have said before this FITNESS CENTER is so ridiculous. Yelp deleted my first review but i will keep reposting. If they block me i will post on other platforms as I've been doing. Since I posted this review, several people have reached out to me personally about their accounts of how they've been mistreated at this location. I was contacted by management and was told to share my experience with their headquarters which I did and have yet to hear from them. It's been over three months. If i could give this location a negative numerical rating i would bc they do NOT deserve 1 start. I am disgusted by how the employees from this establishment treated my mother earlier this week . I have always had a positive experience with Planet Fitness (PF) which is why I was appalled to hear about my mother's recent experience. Late last year I convinced my mom into getting a membership at this location bc it's closest to her house, while she's fairly active, she wanted to challenge herself to get in better shape. She's not tech savvy but i downloaded the Planet Fitness app and showed her how to sign in when she goes to workout. Everything had been going fine until Monday April 22, She went to workout at around 7:30 pm, accompanied by her sis (my aunt), upon arrival the young man helping her offered to give my aunt (a non member) a 3 days free pass to try their services. They said they needed to take her picture as part of the process. After my aunts picture was taken the same young man then he told my mom she needed her picture taken too. My mom sensed something was not right about this since she was a paying member so she asked him why she needed her picture taken? she was then ambushed by 2 of his peers (a guy and a girl) working there who all kept talking at her demanding that she took a picture. The young lady was especially condescending and went as far as to taunt my mom by repeating the word "photo" slowly. My mom being someone who doesn't take kindly to intimidation refused to have her picture taken . The bullies collectively told my mom that she could not workout! My mom (knowing she is a member proceeded to go workout. A few minutes past and she was approached by their security guard. This man didn't ask my mom any question he just asked her to leave! Again, my mom is not easily intimidated and continued to workout. I wish i can say this is where this nightmare ends but it's not. Not too long after the security guard walked off a police officer... yes ladies and gentlemen, a Police officer was called to escort my mom out of this gym! The cop (having a lot more sense than those idiots) politely told me mom she had the right to refuse to get her pictures taken and went about his business. A police report wasn't even filed that's how ridiculous this officer found the matter. My mom was so upset by this poor treatment that she voluntarily left shortly after the police left. But wait there's more! The next day she received a call from an unfriendly PF employee who identified himself as Jose a "manager" he called her to tell her that he canceled her membership! Yep, JUST. Like. THAT. There was no mention of the incident, no explanation, no probing to see what happened. No apologies no concerns. She was guilty by default. My mom at that point, absolutely appalled, asked him for a refund since they already had taken out the monthly fee for the month and their annual fee even though she's only been a member there for a few months. Jose flat out refused and told her she wouldn't be getting a refund then abruptly ended the call! This is the type of treatment you can expect if you go to this location. It took everything in me to not go up to this place and confront these cowards but instead i decided i would share her experience on her and all their websites to warn prospective members from doing business at this location. I will also send this copy to BBC and any other platform that they're affiliate with. Everyone involved in this witch hunt should be fired and never be allowed to work in a Customer Service field. You all don't represent PF, calling the cops on a paying member who is helping put money in your pockets is ludacris. You seen someone vulnerable and ganged up on her like some thugs and treated her like she was a criminal. I hope all 5 of you get what you deserve and that includes that coward of security guard By the way my mom was able to snap a picture of them since they were so obsessed with taking them. As you can see by the photos they are full of themselves and didn't think that my mom was competent enough to do so. She may have an accent but she's no fool. You have to treat people with kindness and respect in all settings because you never know who they know. I will make sure she gets her refund through her bank and will sign her up at a gym who treat their members and people with respect! They allow ALL teenagers for free during the summer and the place becomes a giant baby sitting center. Kids all over being loud and annoying, sitting on equipment doing nothing in friend groups of up to 5. read more

I hate when gyms make it nearly impossible to cancel, and then when you finally get the correct cancel procedure, it conveniently lands on the day after they have to process payments for an entire month. Of course, when you sign up, they promise that cancelation is as easy as making a phone call. If you want to cancel, email Hemet.ca@planetfitness.com with your phone number and birthday and that you would like to cancel your membership. Do it before the 10th of the month, or you'll have to pay for the entire month. Going in is a hit or miss because only a manager can cancel I guess. read more

I'm going to share a story that highlights just how appalling my experience at Planet Fitness in Hemet, CA, truly was. About a month ago, my ex-boyfriend pushed me into the street while I was visiting Hemet. A lady and her son witnessed this and called the police. I sustained serious injuries to my left arm, knees, and head, and I experienced severe stomach pain that led to hospitalization due to concerns about internal bleeding. After being released from the hospital, barely able to move, I went to Planet Fitness to shower before meeting with the police. Upon entering the gym, my phone was acting up, and I still felt quite unwell. My arm looked horrific, bruised and swollen, and I needed to sit down until I could sign in on the app. I explained what had happened to the staff at the front desk and showed them my injured arm, which was still bandaged. They had to use cadaver skin close deep wounds. Instead of showing compassion, I overheard the staff laughing and making jokes about me. An unkempt girl behind the desk noticed I could hear them and tried to signal her coworker to stop, but it was too late. One of them mocked me, suggesting I must have deserved the abuse I endured. Furious, I confronted them, expressing how shameful it was to find humor in someone else's pain. They denied their actions, but I could see and hear everything clearly. After showering, a young woman approached me to offer help with my bra strap since I was unable to manage it due to my injuries. She informed me that the staff continued to mock me in the locker room, saying it was cruel and disgraceful. She encouraged me to contact corporate and mentioned that the gym's motto of being a "no judgment zone" seemed lost on them. As I left, I noticed the staff still smirking and one of them gestured to the other as I walked out. I turned back to inform them that I would be filing a complaint with corporate, to which one of them responded by saying go ahead! Days later, I returned to the gym to shower before a long drive back to Torrance. Upon entering, I recognized the same staff member behind the desk and noticed a gentlemen with his back away from me doing some paperwork. The staff member which happens to be one of the two doing the laughing that particular day this complaint is written about. She alerted the guy at the desk as to my presence, I heard say that's her. He called me by name despite never having met me. When I requested to speak witha manager he informed me he was the manager and that he had contacted my home gym and told them I was banned from their facility for flipping off the staff. I explained that I had been abused and that the staff had mocked my injuries, but he dismissed my concerns. He claimed that the situation with the staff had already been handled and that it pretty not my biz. I was the one who had been mistreated, yet I was the one being punished. Recently I come to find out the manager and one of the girls doing the laughing are buddies and no way would he let her go they may be dating m. Wonderful! This experience at Planet Fitness in Hemet, CA, is deeply troubling. I believe the staff members who laughed at me should be held accountable, along with the manager who failed to address the situation properly. I am determined to pursue this matter further, potentially seeking legal action. This treatment is unacceptable, and I will not stand for it. Below I've shared a few pics this is nothing compared to some of my injuries. How shameful they found this amusing. These girls need to lose their jobs. And that manager owes me an apology how dare him ban me a 63 yr old woman that's been beaten up. I have come in and brought some of the staff chocolates etc around Halloween and I'm a good person. Nobody deserves this treatment and the manager lied he never spoke to the manager at my home Gym. That's a lie. Which adds more fuel to the fire I've contacted an attorney and I'm using planet fitness on various charges. Slandering, harassment acting in bad faith and others I can't name. Pros of the Hemet Club. I love the color of the machines. Its clean . There are more cons than pros. The location is not really in a safe area, and parking can be hard, especially in cold, rainy weather. The Matrix Cardio Machines are horrible they suck, especially the ellipticals they are hard to work you can't select a good incline or speed. Also, the Matrix brand machines hurt my feet. My toes bang on the ellipticals I get off the machine with hurt feet its a blister on my toes waiting to happen. Don't know whose idea it was at Planet Fitness to give the Hemet location Matrix brands I don't understand why they changed them Life Fitness looks to be much better. I tried explaining this to Jose who is in the manager and in charge of the hemet location and it looks like he will not do anything about it.He said oh they are new Machines and I am the only one complaining. Also they don't change machines till another 4 years. I am tired of always being told I am the only one. At my old gym, they said the same thing. What is it with gyms that expect you to pay a monthly membership and to top it off a yearly 48 dollar fee for machines that cause you to have banged-up feet and be in pain after a workout why can't they get Precore or a different brand why Matrix and they don't take members completes seriously, but they will gladly take your money and have you sign up. What's even more frustrating is there is no Planet Fitness headquarters email. I tried emailing them at social@planetfitness.com, but all they say is We kindly ask that you reach out to our club's management which I did. I spoke to Jose and chances are he will not do anything about it. All that email social@planetfitness.com, did was refer me back to management AKA Jose so they won't do anything. I guess managers call the shots weather they are bad or good helpful or not you are at the mercy of who ever is managing your club. If you get a good you are blessed. I guess hemet Planet Fitness has to look like its City. Get the horrible brand of Machines and a manger who does not care. I even tried to convince Jose to let me show him what I am ever issues with on the machine and he told me well I worked out in them and I see no problem wow. I guess he can't take a few moments to leave his little spot to let me show him what I mean. So staff is nice but they don;t want to help or care about any issues or concerns. So good luck guys getting help on any problems you have or issues or any gym they will turn the other cheek if there is an issue. Hopefull people are lucky and get good mangers apparently my location was not Lucky enough to get a understanding manager, but I guess that is Hemet for us gyms in hemet have to look and work just as trashy as its City and that to me is sad. read more

Good gym! No complaints. In a nutshell... Easy parking in a big lot out front, tons of cardio in various forms, newer functional equipment, clean, and friendly staff. Areas included the Black Card area, 12 min abs, 30 min workout, stretching, cardio, free weights, locker rooms, and weight machines. The female locker room was great. The toilet, sink, and dryers were automatic. There were 4 showers and a few changing stalls. I loved how clean it was. Kudos to PF for a well maintained gym. read more

I don't really do reviews but I had to do it for this location since I just moved from San Diego. The only reason why I'm giving it three stars is because some of the employees are really nice and welcoming. I recently saw the post of the young lady being on her phone which isn't the first time she has done that. I recently had a conversation with one of my gym friends about her and it wasn't just me that has seen her not doing her job. It feels like other employees do more than she does and I don't find that fair. The manager should look into it and probably let her go. Being on the phone isn't just one of the bad customer service but also her attitude. She was mean to one of my friends and they let the manager know but nothing was done so I hope this review gets to the manager and they replace her with someone that likes doing their job. read more

I come here 5x a week great staff very attentive and clean machines. However tonight the two guys working the front were not at the front desk we walked in stood there for 5 min while they were next to the entrance talking to it seemed like a friend working out, I kept looking at them to check us in and I ended up just walking in without signing in they didn't even notice. Then the whole time working out they were standing by the dumb bells with the same guy the whole hour work out and a lot of people just walking in for free not check in. I wanted a water and had to wait so took it and left a dollar at the counter. Found them outside by their car when I left 11:09 nobody inside. read more

Nice gym. Nice size building. Nice condition machines. Parking lot sucks but usually Enough open parking spaces. Just old fashioned parking lot size design. I've bee coming here for a year and a half now. All employees are young but they're cool. The night employee's do hang out slide a lot to slash the least. The day employees are distant also. Much interaction isn't needed, but would be a plus to at least receive a head nod. Nonetheless, my only and biggest complaint would be how much the cleaning has decreased over the past year. It used to be very clean inside but not anymore. Sometimes the place isn't cleaned for days. So fix the lack of cleanliness and I'll rate the gym five stars. read more

Planet Fitness in Bullhead City AZ is pure awesome. Great equipment, fantastic massage chairs and purely awesome hydromassage coupled with a staff that is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I sometimes travel and visit other PFls and have found that not all are like the one I go to daily. Hemet Ca seemed normal until I entered the black card spa and found that the massage chairs were broken down old pos that only massaged my legs and nothing else. I then tried the hydromassage and it was sporadic in that it would blast full intensisty and then it would drop to no pressure and go back and forth throughout the massage making it sucky. Hemet Ca needs to gety their stuff together, no wonder the place was empty. Portland Oregon on the other hand was like Bullhead City in that their equipment worked and staff was great. Great gym to workout!!!!!!! My concern is that every time I go to the restroom there isn't toilet paper. Recently I have to wait until the short young lady to get there for her to go in and clean. We love this gym it's super clean, the employees are very nice they greet you when you come in and always make sure they say bye thanks for coming today when you leave. Let me start off by saying the customer service here is amazing. They always greet you with a friendly smile. All there equipment and restrooms are very clean. Bathrooms are fully stocked with soap tissue and paper towels. The sanitation stations are always filled and clean. They never have no broken down equipment nor bad vibes. Bathroom had no toilet paper. Only one stall had a roll. So annoying I can't wipe my ass before my workout

I just want to let it be known, I do not like to complain about conditions a gym may be in without letting the staff know whats going on to give them a chance to correct it. Today topped them all! I go in like usual, put my gear away then get on my workout. Today, I noticed a man in a wheelchair sleeping in the mens locker room... Okay, maybe the man needed a place to crash for a few minutes. I get it. But then this putrid, urine fueled smell comes out of the restroom area. The urinals were backing up. I have brought it staffs attention about the cold showers again and again. Not in the best location because there's usually some stragglers walking around the lot but not surprising since it's Hemet. Open 24/7 and has everything you really need in a gym. It's pretty dead during the day when I go and luckily haven't had to come during peak hours so not really sure how packed it gets. Bring your own locker as theirs don't have the locks on them. read more

Always clean and have cleaning stations w spray, paper towels, and hand sanitizer for you & the equipment, nice staff, and great price for membership. I would only say maybe use the "30 min ab station" for new and different equipment. It always empty and I only see one of the machines being used and that machine is already placed somewhere else. read more
