My recent experience with Planet Fitness was deeply disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable. I encountered unauthorized charges on my account, and my attempts to resolve the issue were met with a complete lack of meaningful or professional assistance. After I pointed out what I believe to be fraudulent charges and requested a refund, the manager refused to help. When I became understandably upset over being charged far more than my $10 monthly membership fee, they used my reaction as justification to ban me from the property instead of addressing the billing issue. As a result, I was forced to involve my bank's fraud department to recover my money. My bank informed me that I am not the only customer they are currently assisting with unexplained charges originating from Planet Fitness. Rather than taking accountability or offering support, I was left to navigate the situation on my own. It is incredibly disheartening when a fitness facility fails so fundamentally in areas as basic as billing transparency and customer service, both of which should be non-negotiable expectations for members. Thankfully, there is a new EOS location that just opened down the street. For your own sake, I strongly recommend avoiding this property. read more

I have been to pretty much every PF in Las Vegas, and this is one of my favorite locations. Theres a lot of the newer equipment, plus plenty of floor space! It's a comfortable temperature each time I've gone, too! The downside is that it seems to always be busy. I think they need another location to open in the area to help with the crowd. I quit a few days ago after many years of membership. I can no longer tolerate being ignored by front desk staff as they spend a good amount of time staring at their cell phones. They are truly very nice once you get their attention. The only major exception is the assistant manager who greeted me while watching videos on his cell phone, took a moment to say hi and continued watching his video while I just stood there. I've only been here twice so far but I am impressed with the staff behind the counter. They are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. TheGym itself is basic and everything seems clean. My only complaint is; they really need to adjust the thermostat on the water, somehow. I live in a Trailer and would like to shower in hot water at the Gym. I had to take a break from my usual 3-4 day a week routine here. Since I have come back the equipment is dirty (treadmills) the bathrooms stink to high heaven, and the tanning beds are dirty (like they haven't been wiped down or cleaned by staff in a month) I get folks are supposed to clean after use, but sheesh. This is making it easier to change gyms altogether. This kind of thing is imperative for those visiting the gym. I mean, It's not as if the staff is super busy there as they're usually talking with each other. Get off your ass and clean the place. Couldn't they be cleaning and stuff like that as we all know people don't do it consistently. If they don't YOU all should. I don't ask for much but come on! I am updating this review based on the fact YELP removed a simple question of mine, and the business owner refused to answer it in the first place. I am saddened by this. I decided to hit up this location since it's not far from work. it's not in the best area of Henderson so I wasn't sure what I would be walking into. I called prior to heading over to make sure that their lockers had the lock combos. A lady with an accent answered the phone & she told me that they did have them. I usually going to a new location on Silverado where they do so you don't have to bring a lock for your locker. Parking lot looked a little busy but the gym wasn't too bad. It's definitely a smaller location. The lady I spoke to on the phone greeted me when I walked in. She was very sweet & also thanked me for my services. I was wearing my work scrubs. I get into the locker room, jump into one of their private, large changing area & get into my gym clothes. I get out to the lockers & find out that they don't have the lock combo's & you need to bring your own lock or you can purchase one @ the front desk. I headed back out to the desk to tell them how I called prior to coming & inquired about the locking lockers & was told they had them but they don't. The sweet lady told me it was her on the phone & she thought I was asking if they sold locks for the lockers. She apologized. Not sure how she got that confused with my question. So I threw my gym bag in the car then came back inside to jump on a cardio machine. I saw plenty of stations with cleaning solutions in bottles & paper towels. What is sad is that a lot of the PF members don't wipe down the equipment after using it. That's gross & disrespectful to others by not helping with keeping the equipment clean & decreasing the spread of germs. I would think since COVID people would be more avid about doing this. I'm a black member but didn't hit up that room to use the stuff in there. So I came in on Saturday 10/25. I do not have my own membership. I have a guest pass from my brother. Unfortunately I came in today and found out I am not supposed to workout without my brother. I have been coming early hours weekdays between 4 - 5 am for months and no one has told me that he needs to be with me today. I feel bad for the lady that had to tell me. Unfortunately all the other employees make her look like a stickler but as a business owner myself I would be upset with the other employees that didn't care enough about my business to enforce policy. Coming in to the gym, I'm greeted by this Rockstar Arlene. All while helping us, she greeted every member at the door and gave good vibe blessings all around. It made my wife and I feel like we were being helped by a celebrity. Not sure if she owned the gym but she ran her day to day operations like she did own that club. She recommended all the amenities and got my wife to try the vibration plate that she was unsure about. Was looking for a place to tan and decided to go into planet fitness, tanning salons are outrageously expensive, to my delight, I walk into planet fitness here in Henderson Nevada and I'm greeted by an amazing young man named Kevin, I highly recommend this facility along with this gentleman that went above and beyond and showing me that not only is it cheaper to tan here but on top of everything else have chairs along with all types of different to relax a person. read more

Planet Fitness on Lake Mead Parkway in Henderson is the ideal workout location. They have an excellent selection of new equipment. It is never too crowded. I love the high ceilings and the spaciousness it creates. The air is clean and they have a decent filtering system as well as enormous ceiling fans that keep the air in motion. They are open 24/7 which can accommodate every form of lifestyle. I have always loved working out daily and I find this gym to be better than any of the select ones I attended on the East Coast. I moved to Henderson during the pandemic and was a member of a private club for a year before I discovered Planet Fitness. With the end of 2023 fast approaching and 2024 just around the corner, I'd like to take a moment to reflect on one aspect of 2023 that I hope continues in 2024 at the Planet Fitness on Lake Mead in Henderson and that is a big shout out to Arlene! Let's face it, no one truly likes getting up in the wee hours of the morning to go to the gym. But no matter what kind of mood I'm in when I get there, the minute I walk through the door, Arlene always greets me with a smile on her face and a positive, "can do" attitude. Whether it's helping me with a piece of equipment to something as simple as wiping down the equipment because the last user may have "forgotten" to do so, or just friendly conversation, no task is too large or too small for her to do. Arlene is always there and attentive to whatever anyone needs. Everything including locker rooms and bathrooms fully stocked and spotless. Always working cheerfully, never just sitting around on the phone, or lost in space or thought. Always present and beyond pleasant. She's an angel and I'm so happy she's part of my daily routine. I've been to several of the locations in town, and this one is alright. They have a lot of space and cardio machines, plus an extra ab-centered workout station. The locker room is laid out a bit weird, with the lockers in front and the restrooms/showers in back. They apparently removed their ARC Trainers, which was one of the reasons I liked this gym. They also can't seem to run their A/C much when it's hot, and it just gets muggy in there during warm/hot days. I carry a portable thermometer on workouts and it's a consistent 76 degrees (F). Not sure if it's a limit of the building's HVAC or they just cheap out on running the A/C but it gets too warm in there. Overall it's okay. Lot of parking and not too hard to get in and out. read more

I was using a piece of equipment when another member came up to me and asked me if I was using it, which I confirmed. When I turned around, she put on her towel on the equipment and started using it. She was not observing social distancing whatsoever and was not wearing a face mask properly (it was on her neck). When I told what happened to club staff, they did not do anything about it. Some members there do not observe social distancing or clean after themselves or even wear a facial covering, and staff does not address it. read more

Planet fitness in Henderson has awesome equipment. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Arlene always greets me when I come in. She provides the utmost care on the hydrotherapy machine. I have had a membership since 2018 however I stopped going because my mother was terminally I'll. She passed away in September CD but I still had hopes of going back , I visited LVAC the 1st of April and was informed my medical insurance would cover my membership. I came into the location at Lake Mead and Boulder Highway Club#09311 on April 2 to cancel my membership I had an ID tag on my key chain and the tall African American male took my tag off my key chain and keyed in what I thought was a cancellation. Then said it's done. Kept the tag and I assumed it was canceled. Unfortunately my bank only notifies me of large withdrawals, when I saw the in April I thought I didn't cancel it before the billing. I didn't check my May but I was going over my account for June and saw they were still deducting it when I call that branch they had no information whatsoever, right down to him bringing up my info for the last 3 years. At this point thinking I'm thinking he was lazy or was trying to save the account for future billing as I am 67. My phone conversation yielded nothing. I was going to eat the payment for April but they refused to refund May and June. I don't know how the other locations work but this was the worst customer service I've ever had, mind you I didn't even try to go after them during the pandemic so I have no reason to lie. I'm a senior and was mistreated and I wanted the $20 refunded. I will be going on FACEBOOK as well. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TREATMENT OF SENIORS. I feel this is a tactic they have perfected for continued revenue. Even after speaking to the manager Savannah Davis, she went in the back and the person I talked to on the phone he came out and took over the conversation like he was the manager. They both had no clue who serviced me nor tried to find out. Just More money, more money,more money for their location. This is the fourth Planet Fitness we have been to in the Vegas area and, of those, is solidly the nicest. The workout area is HUGE and one of the employees told me it was the largest PF in the Vegas area. There are oodles of machines (two or more of almost every kind) and sooo much space to walk around, stretch, and move. Of the four PF gyms in the Vegas and surrounding areas we have visited, this one is also the cleanest. The water fountains, showers, workout area, and restrooms looked clean and well maintained. We saw many gym goers wiping equipment off after use and there were plenty of spray cleaner bottles and paper towels to do so. The two staff members with whom we spoke were were polite, approachable, and very helpful. This PF could improve to five star status with the addition of a couple items. Foam rollers to use (to manipulate fascia) would be a tremendous benefit. Another good improvement would be installation of a vertical fill water fountain feature so water bottles could be fully filled while creating less mess in the process. read more

I have been a member of this Planet Fitness location since 2019. I really like the atmosphere at this gym. The members are easy going and friendly and often say hello and speak kind words. The employees greet you with a smile and a friendly wave when you leave. The shining star at this Planet Fitness is definitely Arlene. Arlene truly makes you feel like you are special.
