Unfortunately, my experience with the Orem EoS Fitness location was different. When I called to ask how to sign up using Fitness Pass, I was transferred to a membership representative who informed me that I would need to pay an additional $10 per month on top of what I already pay through Fitness Pass. When I asked for clarification, I was told this was essentially because the gym needed to make more than what Fitness Pass provides. This explanation did not seem appropriate or consistent with how the program is intended to work. To verify, I contacted Fitness Pass directly. They confirmed that I should not be charged any additional fee for a basic membership and even offered to join a three-way call with the gym to clarify the situation. However, when I called the gym back just minutes later, I was told that membership staff were suddenly unavailable for at least 30 minutes, despite having just spoken with them. I then contacted another EoS Fitness location in Springville and explained the exact same situation. Their staff immediately clarified that the Fitness Pass fully covers the basic membership and that no additional fee is required. I visited that location in person, received a tour, and completed my enrollment in about 20 minutes, without any extra charges. They also explained that the $10 fee mentioned by the other location applies only to a premium membership and is entirely optional. Due to the conflicting information and lack of transparency from this location, I will be going to the Springville location instead, even though it is farther away. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend confirming all membership details carefully before signing up here.

I know that gyms like this are infamous for predatory practices around cancelations so I specifically asked the sales representative at the time what the process would be like to cancel and if there were any fees. I was explicitly told that cancelation can be done any time online and there is no cancelation fee. The sales representative took it upon himself to recite the basics of the Membership Agreement - likely as a tactic to get me to listen and talk to him rather than reading the agreement for myself. Even though I was explicitly told there was no fee to cancel, what he failed to mention was that cancelations require a 30-day written notice and that within those 30 days I will be charged nearly $100 for an annual fee and first month membership. This is incredibly predatory behavior. I even called the listed phone number, just to reach an answering machine. It instructed me to "press 2" for cancelation requests. When I pressed 2, the answering machine said nothing about cancelations - only about updating my billing method. I tried that and the only options it gave me were to add a new card or new bank account. No option to cancel. I went in-person to request to cancel and was told that nobody on-site would be able to help me cancel and that I had to do it online or over the phone. I called the business several times and was finally able to reach a representative who was just as unhelpful.

This place is the very definition of a hidden gem. I happened upon it while googling "cool gyms in Utah" a few months ago, hoping to find some sweet Black Friday deals. I had never heard of it before, but the Google reviews got me very excited. There were lots of remarks like "I can never move because I won't find a better gym than this." Now that I've been to The Training Room, I can't go back home to the East Coast unless they let me start a franchise there. For the base membership price (currently $110) you get unlimited access to the gym, which is fully equipped with everything you need for lifting, cardio, CrossFit style drills and so much more. It is so clean and never overcrowded! There are showers stocked with the relevant toiletries, including hair dryer (and diffuser!), cotton swabs, hair ties and bobby pins, etc. There is even towel service, so you don't have to bring your own with you and stuff a wet towel into your gym bag on the way out! In addition to that, the base membership gets you unlimited included childcare! I love that there's no additional fee for that. I'm not usually comfortable taking advantage of childcare anyway, as they are frequently overcrowded with babies, understaffed, and often don't look well cleaned. The childcare here is different. Just like the gym floor, it is never overflowing with people. The girls who work in there are so pleasant and mature. It's easy to see your babies if you want to, as the door is always open and there are even computers at the front desk showing camera footage of what's going on wherever babies are. They even do a "Movement Preschool" with structured activities and take-home crafts where they teach basic manners, colors and the alphabet! The BIGGEST sell for me on this membership is the fact that it comes with free, unlimited access to the on-site Sports Medicine services! You can make an appointment to go in and get a physical, sports massage, physical therapy for injuries, chiropractic adjustments, etc. It's the first gym I've seen to incorporate that and it is an absolute game changer. The fact that they give you access to those services plus everything else for only $110/mo is just bonkers. This is so long, but I could go on and on about this gym. Not only is it the bee's knees, it is also in fact the cat's pajamas. (Do people still say that?) Come join the club! Or don't, because IT IS MY PRECIOUS.

I'm a VASA member once again! :D I have only patronized the North Orem location so far, so that's what this review will cover The place where I work canceled their fitness classes, and I didn't want to work out without other people around me, so I rejoined. This time, however, I joined as a "Studio" member, not just a "basic" member; I'm so glad I did! Since joining I have attended 8 Studio Red classes and a Studio Flow (Deep Stretch) class; they have been very well conducted. Dax, Audra, Chelsea, and Julio have been fantastic! The facility is clean and well taken care of. The equipment I have used has been in full operational order. The check-in process is fast (scan your barcode), and scheduling the Studio Red and Studio Flow classes on my phone is simple and straightforward. IF you are considering becoming a member, make sure you understand the ins and outs of the financial aspects of being a member. Read the other comments here and learn from them. Is it uber-complicated? No, but there are processes if you want to make changes. Next, get a "complimentary pass" and use it, see what it's like for you. I would really caution you, however, on basing the decision on 1 visit... see if you can come 2 or 3 times, see if you can attend a Studio Red or Studio Flow class... I don't know that you can, but it can't hurt to ask. If you DO become a member (congratulations!), utilize all the amenities available to you, maximize your membership, get as much out of it as you can. All the best to you in your journey.
