I've been coming to this Planet Fitness for about 3 months now and honestly have had a really good experience so far. The gym is always well maintained, and you can tell the staff here actually care about keeping the place clean. I constantly see employees wiping down equipment, cleaning around the gym, and making sure everything stays organized. The front desk staff are also really friendly. They always greet you when you walk in and usually say goodbye when you leave, which is a small thing but goes a long way in my opinion. I don't expect much from a gym besides a clean environment, working equipment, and decent staff, and this location does all of that well. Another thing I've noticed is that the members here generally have pretty solid gym etiquette, which makes workouts a lot more enjoyable. It does get busy during peak hours, but that's pretty normal for almost any gym. Overall, this has been a great location for me and I'd definitely give it 5 stars. read more

Membership dues are very reasonable and affordable, especially for seniors that are part of Medicare which means their basic membership is free, a Silver Sneakers perk. Staff is super friendly at this location, but I most likely won't be coming back due to the lack of A/C or air flow at this particular location. I overheat easily, especially when working out, and not getting proper A/C while working out is a huge bummer in my opinion (especially in the summer). The PF membership pretty much isn't worth it to me if the gym doesn't even come with decent fans to cool you off. I do like the spaciousness of this location though. Parking situation is okayish; you have to park and walk a bit far to get to the Planet Fitness, which is in the middle of the plaza. Wish I enjoyed this location more. I also did not have "proper shoes" and asked me to exit the building, and said to go to Target to buy new shoes. Absolutely disgusting. 1.) THEFT - Last night the women's locker room was hit with theft. At least a handful of women were affected. *PSA -- Folks, this is a good reminder that locks are not a guarantee. The police we spoke to said it only take a few seconds for some slimy "person" to clip the lock and wreak havoc on your finances. This can happen anywhere...even at a Boujee gym so plan accordingly. 2.) STAFFING SHORTAGE - Management has not properly staffed this location. It's rare to see staff making rounds around the floor, and we heard that when the theft happened, there was only 1 person (other on break) at the front desk area which is by the entrance/exit. No wonder the Scrooges who stole were able to make an easy get away. 3.) MANAGEMENT CRITICISM - 1.5 hours (or possibly more after the theft), the Manager on call had STILL not gotten back to the staff on site! The staff on site are youth. At this critical moment, an action plan was needed, clear communication and direction, an immediate review of the security camera footage (which we were told this person had access to). None of these things happened for us. At a moment of loss, confusion and major disappointment, we feel PF failed us. The past can't be changed, but please immediately develop a protocol for this and other high attention necessary scenarios so future issues are handled professionally. read more

I was ready to sign a contract with Planet Fitness. Geographically they were near my place and my parents' place so I have multiple locations to visit at my convenience. The rates were reasonable. Let's see where it all went wrong... Well their website required my ACH checking information... I'm like okay okay I'll just deal with the local to the club to look for a loop hole. I called the Tustin Planet Fitness and this immature unprofessional poorly spoken young man mentioned his name was something like Adrian. It was either Adrian or something similar. I asked very specifically if there was a way to get the monthly payment in reoccurring Credit Card payments. HE SAID EFT REQUIRED ACH INFORMATION. Oh goodness kid, you are lecturing the wrong person about EFT. EFT is electric fund transfer. I worked for LA Fitness at their corporate office for over 5 and a half years in operations and billing. I have been members to Fitness 19, 24 Hour Fitness, Golds Gym and clearly LA Fitness. There is NO RULE says EFT is required to be on your ACH payment. So he basically tried to lie to me. Then he said... ohh well you can put in 2 credit cards. THAT WAS THE QUESTION ALL ALONG. I JUST WANTED IT ON MY CREDIT CARD!! Was that too difficult?!?! Then the nerve!!!!!!!!!! This kid started threatening me with LATE FEES!!!!!! Bro, do you think a gym membership is the only thing I have on automatic billing... Umm my phone bill, streaming service, plenty of other things. The man on the phone said he was sorry and would not charge me July in return. In July they charged me $23 again. I was trained by Brigette the trainer at this location. I was pretty skeptical at first because I already work out a lot and I didn't think it would be a challenging class. Brigette ran me through some core exercises and let me tell you by the end I could see my six pack again. she taught me some new exercises that I'm going to be implementing in my own workouts and I was so sore the next day! she was very thorough in explaining each exercise to me and she was very kind and patient with me. the rest of the team at Planet Fitness are also amazing and this gym has become my home gym now, thanks to Brigette and the team. thank you Brigette and I can't wait for our next workout, cardio this time I think! read more

Employees Rudy and Moises were unprofessional through the whole process and were laughing and joking that I was trying to steal. Unforgivably, this location and management, doesn't live up to the name of planet and the "no judgment zone" policy. This gym is taken over by influencers who take up the whole weight area or all the smith machines for their photo shoot. Management has been told many times by all members I know and they don't lift a finger, saying "corporate doesn't want us to get involved." Extremely poor gym culture and people sit at smith machines all day. There's only 3 smith machines and people will hold each one for 2 hours, so the rest of the 200 members have to not have a good workout because management isn't fit to manage a gym... there's cameras everywhere and influencers are videoing the whole time and taking videos of everyone... don't come to this location until this is taken care of and management does something about the lengthy smith machine take overs read more

This Planet fitness is always clean. The equipment here is top notch. If you want to use the best machines this gym has it. If I could give negative stars I would. The gym is fine, it's the "manager" Adrian Navarro's lack of customer service and rudeness that had me cancel my membership and what will have me tell everyone I know not to sign up for this club. Why: I signed up a for a membership early Sept 2021. I went in the club and gave them my card, signed the agreement for $10/month and I was on my way. Planet Fitness 9/22 $10 was taken out of account - perfect. Planet Fitness 10/22 $25 was taken out of my account - WHAT?! ($10 + $15 late fee) Planet Fitness 11/10 $54 was taken out of my account -WTF?! ($39 annual fee + $15 late fee) I call and ask what happened to $10/month and what are these charges? Adrian tells me that because their system tried to run my card as an EFT at the time my $10 membership was due and was declined due to incorrect info, their systems waits a couple of days and then runs the card as a credit card and then it went through but by that time the systems shows my account being paid late so I have now incurred late fees and will continue to. So I'm being charged late fees because of a system error or maybe their front desk person entered in the incorrect card info? I kindly ask that he update my card/bank info and refund me the two late fees 1) Oct $15 2) Nov $15 = refund owed $30 Adrian tells me he can update my card info next time I come in and cannot refund any fees. He actually tells me that he can email me my contract. No apology, no solution, no refund, just a snide "would you like me to email you a copy of your contract that you signed?" ... I ask him if this is something that is handled at the corporate level. He tells me he's in charge of these things, he's the manager. I ask him if he could see how me paying these fees makes any sense? I mean would he be fine paying these fees? Let's be real here. I had him cancel my membership, but he reminded me I may still be charged for another month due to the billing cycle :) So great! .....Thanks for (0) ZERO help Adrian "the manager". Just joined this gym, five star automatically for the great smell and cleanliness. I actually saw staff here cleaning the machines. Great deal to start the year at $20 a month with the ability to bring a friend every time. Very cohesivea and color coordinated place. I was super hesitant to sign up for member ship here. It was only $10 I thought the place would be ghetto . I have a member ship from 24 but my gym closed down on Irvine center drive. I've been to many gyms from la fitness to ufc gym. This has to be one of the cleanest gyms I've been too. Weights are always racked and seems like when people use the machines they always wipe it down. The best part is when I go there is never a wait for the machines. I've worked out at different times of the day. 9am,noon and 3pm on the weekdays.never had to wait for a machine. I like how the app has a meter which will tell you if the gym is busy. If your looking a clean gym and place to work and quick and leave this is the gym. read more

Been going here for a month and it's all been positive. Plenty of parking and the gym itself is fairly large. Not as many amenities as the other gyms but has everything I need at a great price. There are multiple of most of the equipments so you don't have to wait for someone to finish. Locker room is clean and this location provides shower gel. I've been working out at planet fitness since 2019. After taking a break for a few years for college, I came back and started working out here last year. The gym is amazing and the staff is very friendly and the equipment is high tech. I've been working out with their personal trainer Bridgette as well, and she is very skilled and knowledgeable about the exercises, and she is also very present during the workouts, correcting my form, and keeping me accountable with the reps. Bridgette is a wonderful trainer, the best personal trainer I've ever worked with, and I definently recommend anyone who wants to train in a more structured, safe, efficient, and effective way l, and learn more about working out and fitness in general to work out with her. The rest of the staff is also very friendly and welcoming, and the bathrooms are very clean and tidy. Overall, it is very well run by the management, and it is a great gym to work out at! Definitely my favorite, most welcoming, productive gym in Orange County where I've gotten the best results for my health and fitness :D x) read more
