    Hawaiian Pizza

Unfortunately, this is one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. The pizza was served barely warm, and the cheese texture was off (more rubbery than melty). On a positive note, the person who took my order was very kind, but by the time I got to the cashier, they already seemed annoyed which didn't make the experience any better. Definitely not a place I'd return to.

Great place to stop in for a quick slice if you're in the downtown area. Service is quick, but curt. The dining area is standing room only. It's a no frills, pizza by the slice type of spot. The food itself was pretty good and it's open late. Good place to stop in for a late night bite, but you'll need to be willing to wait in line!

Reminded me of my childhood when I was able to get a pattie and a slice at the same spot.

Great late night pizza with some interesting characters outside. I'm glad we found this place because we was drunk and pizza always is the cure for a hangover. Lolo the line was kinda long but def worth the wait. I knew I should've waited to see what options they had before I ordered but I was basic and decided to get the pepperoni but not even gone cap that pizza was fyeeeee! If you in Orlando def check them out.

If you are ever in the Orlando area and looking for pizza with a up north taste and feel, definitely stop here! I'm from Philly where good pizza was pretty easy to come by but living in FL I've realized that was a luxury. This place has the huge face sized slices, cheese that oozes and sauce that's packed with flavor. If you eat pizza like I do then you know its the sauce that makes the difference with the taste and feel of the pizza. This is where you should go for your pizza slices if you're in Orlando. Pic: kids ate half of the pizza before I gotta a chance to take a pic

Situated right in the heart of the bar scene downtown, this place is a welcome sight to anyone that has had a bit too much to drink. Big neon lights to draw the inebriated in like moths to a flame. I'll also preface this review by saying that at the time, I was loving the food here. It was only once I sobered up a bit that I was able to look at eveything more objectively. I ordered the pineapple pizza and the chicken bacon ranch. It was my FIRST taste of pineapple on pizza and I have to say, I was very underwhelmed. The pizza itself was decent, but the pineapple chunks were so small and scarce that they barely added anything to the flavor. I'm still willing to give the famed Hawaiian slice another chance because it wasn't bad, but the slice here wasn't anything to write home about. Chicken Bacon Ranch is my favorite pizza ever, but this one didn't even come close to my favorite Cali CBR slice of all time in upstate New York. Still very tasty, but I've just had so much better. Ironically, the actual bake on the pizza itself is near perfect, and the exact texture and crispiness I would want in a pizza slice... so props to this place for getting that right. The garlic knots were pretty average though. They are soft, which is a big plus, but they are unevenly coated with garlic so not every bite is quite the same. It feels weird being so critical of a place that is clearly meant to service those looking for a quick bite to eat after a night of partying. If I looked at it for what it is, I would give this 5 stars. It does it's job. But I'm assuming there will be some people that come here that can walk in a straight line, and for those people I can only give this place 3 stars. It's a good pizza joint with nice employees and average pizza, and since my days of going downtown to bars aren't over... I will most certainly be back.

The inside is pretty small with just a few tables, but it's attached to a brewery which makes it a great setup because you can grab your pizza and head over for a beer. If you're going with someone, my recommendation is definitely to split a pizza and get the "Kale Me on My Cellphone" salad. The salad is honestly so good and loaded with toppings like artichokes, tomatoes, bacon, egg, and cheese. The green goddess dressing completely makes it super fresh, bright, and zingy. I even ended up dipping my pizza crust into the dressing because it was that good. This time we ordered the Gabagool, and I've had the Green Ranger in the past. Both pizzas are super flavorful and really well done. I think I slightly prefer the pizzas with the pistachio pesto base because the flavor combo is so unique, but honestly you can't go wrong with either option. What keeps it interesting, though, is how the atmosphere continues to evolve while staying true to its roots. At its core, this is classic New York-style grab-and-go pizza. You order by choosing slices through the glass, with plenty of options that go beyond traditional toppings--standouts like chicken bacon ranch and buffalo-style slices are clearly crowd favorites. The atmosphere is where Gitto's really shines. From the outside, it looks like a simple hole-in-the-wall, but once inside, there's more personality and energy than you'd expect. The complimentary garlic knots were an unexpected and appreciated bonus. The dough is flavorful and familiar--exactly what you want from a NYC-style slice. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch, and it delivered: not overly sauced (which is key, since ranch can easily overpower), perfectly cooked bacon, and solid chicken that didn't taste frozen or pre-made. Pizza is subjective, and this is just my experience--but it's important to judge Gitto's for what it is. This is New York grab-and-go pizza, not Italian, Chicago, Detroit, or a big chain like Papa John's. If you know the style going in and set your expectations accordingly, this place absolutely delivers.
