I'll be real, I've purchased pizza from here countless times. The pizza is good! Normal stuff. The fact that I've had to pay 50 cents for a cup of ice, or argue with the staff for a singular cup to fill with tap water (which I paid 25 cents for, by the way) is ridiculous. I have enough money to buy water, it has more to do with the message behind making it such a big deal that your patrons can't have any. I complained once and the employee pointed to my male friend and said, "why doesn't your boyfriend buy you a bottle?" I have a job, so take your assumptive comment elsewhere-it has nothing to do with that. I was hoping the owner would eventually grow to provide at least tap water to paying patrons. Maybe check out gringos or the hot dog cart across the street. If the owner is reading this-I sincerely hope you find some sense within you to provide your PAYING customers with at least tap water to wash their food down. I've never been one to complain, but I've also never worked/been anywhere that so vehemently denied water to customers. That's illegal in some states. The best money you will spend on a night of downtown binge drinking. LOL!! Marco and Frank are like my second downtown family. I've been showing up here so many times after a long night of drinking they pretty much now my order by heart! Cheese Pizza, White Cheese Pizza with sausage and mushroom, and Spinich and Tomato are my 3 favorite slices over the years. This has been a downtown staple for about as long as I can remember. They are now open for lunch. They are pretty quick with the service so when your in a hurry for a slice. This spot is a joke! I ate here the last 3 months because it's convenient and I just got back from Sbarros at the mall and the pizza is 1000% better. Full of pepperoni on just 1 slice vs planet pizza puts only 3 pepperonis on 1 slice and charged $4. Robbery!! Every time I order a pepperoni slice from planet pizza 8/10 times it's a cold cheese slice disguised as a pepperoni sliced and thrown back in the oven. Good pizza, but expensive for what it is. Almost $5 for a slice of anything other than cheese or pepperoni, and not a big enough slice to warrant it. You have to order at least 2 if not 3 to feel as if you ate anything, so it adds up fast. Not like late night pizza in other cities where when you order a slice its about 1/4 of the pie. This seems to be a new thing, I remember when I first started coming much larger pieces. Awesome pizza joint that is open to 3am every single night 7 days a week. It's right in the heart of downtown Orlando and has great quality slices of pizza. It was awesome to check this place out because it was my parents favorite place to go after a night out on the town back when they were younger. I had to check it out. I ordered a mushroom and feta slice as well as a buffalo chicken slice. They were both great. Only complaint would be the seating area. It is in sketchy area but they have a security guard present at all times because it is right next to all of the night life in Orlando. Pizza slices are about $3-$4 a piece and it's a great price because it's fresh and specialty. When in the area I'll be sure to stop by to grab a slice. read more

I live in downtown Orlando and was craving pizza. I have never tried planet pizza. I uber eats it to where I live and the pizza was okay. I had the meat pizza, the topping were great but the crust and bread could have been better. This place has been an Orlando staple for over 30 years and there is definitely a reason why. I want to thank each and everyone one of the folks at Planet Pizza for going above and beyond this weekend. You not only stayed open in the face of a massive hurricane, you and your family made an 8 hour round trip to do it! So down to the nitty gritty... The isn't a fancy joint by any stretch of the imagination. The dining area is small, the seating is limited and on the weekend you can just expect a line out the door. It doesn't matter! My fiancée and I were starving after an event in downtown and wanted some pizza, so we came to Planet Pizza. The pizza is pre-cooked and sits out in the open and then they just heat it up in the oven. It tasted as stale and greasy as it looks. It's also way over priced. This was the most affordable pizza we found in the area. It wasn't cheap by any means, it was just cheaper than others. This place is incredibly small. I was a long time customer to this establishment, now when I say this I mean from almost a decade. but this place refuses to budge on its curtsies no hello,how you doing, nothing instead you are greeted with hurry up what do you want? no water not rest rooms and no refills. plus the customer service is sub par and rude, often demanding that you hurry up and order. This is the best pizza! After along afternoon of partying we needed to get food in our system so we decided to stop by and grab a slice of pizza! They have a variety of toppings. Finally, a by-the-slice pizza spot that I like! This has been an ongoing mission for me during my lunch hour. I have been to several other walk-in pizza shops downtown and by far this is the best one. It is just as tiny as the others but at at least this one has seating and it's less congested due to its location. Planet Pizza was recommended to me by a co-worker and I'm so happy I went. Came across this almost hidden pizza spot. They have sliced premade pizza that only needs to be heated up if your buying by the slice or they can freshly make you a pie. The food is just like the service, mediocre. They have a 2 slice cheese pizza and 24oz drink special for $5.00. Normally I would give this place 5 stars.. come here super often, Tonight was a different story. I always get the chicken bacon ranch pizza and it was the last slice and then someone behind me ordered the same so they brought out a fresh one for them. The fresh pie looked way fuller and had more toppings on it. I saw that so i mentioned if they could switch mine out with one of the fresh ones. Didn't do it. I usually can eat anything especially after drinks but I was the only person in my friend group that ate a garlic knot and know of another person that ate the garlic knots and got sick the next day as did I. I use to love this place.... but i went here the other night for the first time in a while and my pizza extra greasy. I had an upset stomach for the rest of the night and the next morning.
