Friendly local coffee and more! So many delicious choices! The pastries are amazing and fresh. Helpful kind and patient staff. Perfect Cinnamon latte! Yummy orange cake and egg croissant added avocado for delicious perfection! Great place!

We stopped here on a Friday morning driving north to Fort Bragg. Sadly, nearly all the food is pre-packaged at a different location (salads 'n stuff). My bagel with cream cheese & raspberry jam was disappointing & i only ate half but my coffee was okay. There is lots of outdoor seating & the place is clean but if you're looking for food maybe try another place.

    Sooo good, fresh, tasty

Beautiful pastries. And a huge variety of things to eat/ drink. Friendly servers- and this place makes me smile. It's a light rainy day, a Friday , heading home, glad to find this coffee shop. Parking is easy.

BANG. The best coffee place in town hands down. Frankly some of the best pastries you can get - I am not a scone guy and their cherry brown sugar scone is dangerous. Open every day at 7, They close at 2. We went there every day we were in Cloverdale before hitting the wineries. Highly Recommend.

I was visiting from out of state with hopes of enjoying coffee in a very warm inviting atmosphere. I really enjoyed the coffee and their food selections. The service was quick and I was served with a smile, however, I am giving this place a 2 star review because of a book that was available for children to read in the seating area! The book was titled " How to raise your children so they do not grow up to be like Donald Trump!". To have a book like this to read in a public establishment where customers with a variety of views come to enjoy good coffee, is not all-inclusive. It excludes and creates an uncomfortable environment for those who may disagree with this mindset. I feel it is important that all types of people to feel respected and comfortable in a warm coffee shop. We can't get along if we have polarizing things like this to read where we like to enjoy a nice pastry or hot coffee.

Traveled to Cloverdale for a work meeting and had to stop and try a new coffee shop. Ordered the nitro cold brew with vanilla, toffee cookie, and blueberry muffin. Everything is incredible!! There are so many pastries to choose from and the cookies are HUGE!!! I love a sweet treat so I had too. I also collect stickers so I had to ask and they have so many to choose from. The barista actually designs a few and they're beautiful :) overall a cozy little place to sip coffee and hang out. Will be back the next time I come down.

Jyun Kang Vegetarian - A Meal That Quietly Resets You…read more Some meals speak in flavor. This one speaks in quiet. Jyun Kang is not modern plant-based cuisine. It isn't creative, trendy, or reinvented. This is the kind of vegetarian cooking that comes from older traditions - simple, steady, and designed to calm you more than impress you. And maybe that's why the dining room is always full. White, Black, Indian, Asian - everyone sits at the same wooden tables, eating the same humble dishes with an ease that feels rare these days. The Food: Old-School, Temple-Style, and Intentionally Quiet Nothing here tries to stand out. The dishes are: * lightly seasoned * clean and balanced * tofu, vegetables, and wheat gluten prepared the way temple kitchens have done for decades * no heavy oil, no aggressive spices, no sharp flavors It's not meant to overwhelm you. It's meant to lower the noise inside you. In a strange way, the quietness is the flavor. This is the type of meal where your nervous system shifts down a gear without you realizing it. The Atmosphere: A Dining Room Wrapped in Calm Steps away from the main courtyard of the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas, the restaurant feels like an extension of the grounds themselves. Light streams in softly. People speak gently. Even the clinking of dishes feels slower, more deliberate. Eating here isn't just eating - it's entering a different pace of life. A White Peacock After Lunch After the meal, a white peacock walked across the courtyard - unhurried, soft-footed, almost unreal in how quietly it moved. White peacocks are often considered auspicious, but even without any symbolism, the moment felt grounding - a small, unexpected pause that matched the tone of the meal. Not many restaurants offer you that. The Walk Afterward Part of the experience is what happens once you step outside: * walking past tall trees * seeing peacocks on rooftops * watching families stroll through the open grounds * letting your mind cool in the same way your body just did This isn't a restaurant visit. It's a reset. Verdict: A Place That Nourishes More Than Hunger Jyun Kang serves exactly what it intends to serve: pure, old-style temple vegetarian food, quietly and consistently. It won't dazzle you, but it will steady you. And sometimes, that is worth more than flavor. If you want boldness, go elsewhere. If you want a meal that lowers the volume of your day - come here. My husband and I stayed at the Stanford Inn back in 2025 to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary, and my goodness! It's going to be really hard to beat. The Raven's Restaurant was so convenient being only a few steps away from our room. The views from the dining room are breathtaking. You either get a view of the garden and ocean, or a view of the Big River. Both are amazing! Breakfast is complimentary for those staying at the Stanford Inn, and like other reviewers have mentioned, the portion sizes are large! The food is nutrient dense, so you feel satiated after only eating half of it or so. Our breakfast would also double as our lunch, so that's two meals in one! What a win! Plus, the service was top notch every time. We felt taken care of every step of the way. I am vegan and my husband is not vegan, however, he enjoys and appreciates vegan food. There have been some vegan restaurants that we've gone to where he was not a fan, but he was so pleasantly surprised and happy with all the food at Raven's Restaurant. We especially loved the scones and looked forward to each morning trying a new flavor. They were all so delicious and moist, not crumbly and dry. None of their items were too sweet or too salty, which was amazing for people who are sensitive to those flavors. My husband and I just booked another getaway in a couple weeks and we are counting down the days to be back and enjoy Raven's Restaurant again!

We tried a few dishes including the seasonal vegetable plate, a grain bowl, and their pasta, along with a couple appetizers and salads. Service was good and the atmosphere is very calm and scenic, especially given the inn setting. A good option if you're staying at the Stanford Inn or want a fully vegan meal

I am vegetarian and have eaten at many vegetarian restaurants over the years. I would confidently say that Blossom and Root is the best vegetarian restaurant in the Bay Area and it may be my favorite restaurant hands down. Food: Key to a great restaurant is consistency. The food and dishes are consistently great at Blossom and Root over many visits. I have tried the Smash burger, yellow curry, Mediterranean bowl, french toast, pancakes, chilaquiles, breakfast burrito and several other dishes. Yellow curry is my hands down favorite but honestly no dish has ever disappointed. Every dish is always very freshly prepared. You can tell. They have a kids menu as well. Kids will also love the "experience" of the Butterfly bubbles drink! Just try it! Ambiance: Cute restaurant with a modern craftsmen kitchen feel. It was about 1/4 cup quinoa and millet and more tangerine oranges than grains. Look at the difference of portion sizes from our experience vs Yelp photos. I felt this was inadequate and asked for more grains. I got a 1/2 cup of extra quinoa (only). Tofu scramble and pancakes (adult and kid versions) were good. The server tried to insinuate that the adult pancakes weren't enough, but they were more than enough. We also ordered one orange juice for a child (paper cup with a copper straw jammed through the opening) and hot tea. Honest review, it was overpriced and moderately good. I would not return; quality and value for 3 adults and 1 child was not worth $100+ including tip. Hope they consider my feedback to improve; this place has great potential.
