My insurance company agreed to have White Eagle RE-FIX my car because the…read morefirst time they fixed it, one part was flapping in the wind, another part overlapped another part, and the gas cap wouldn't open. When I dropped my car off there, all parts were supposedly ordered and in-house in advance, HOWEVER, after 2 weeks, my car is still sitting in their shop UNTOUCHED. Both the 1st and 2nd time my car was in this shop, after having parts ordered in advance, a repair that should have taken 5 days took over 14 days with no communication whatsoever from the body shop. They are not willing to pay for the extra week of car rental.

White Eagle employees Ron and Laura agreed to do repairs on my car…read morefor an itemized estimate and specific amount approved by my insurance company; I would have gone elsewhere if this agreement had not been in place. After repairs were complete, Ron at White Eagle sent supplements containing additional charges to my insurance, which the company did not fully approve; multiple White Eagle employees including Laura shared with me that there were problems with the initial estimate and approved amount for repairs from my insurance company. When I asked White Eagle employees including Laura why they had agreed to perform the work for my insurance company's original estimate if there were problems with it, I received no response. White Eagle held me responsible for part of what my insurance would not pay of the supplemental charges and refused to release my car to me unless I paid an amount beyond my deductible. The shop held my car for two weeks total. The repairs took one week, and the second week was when the shop nickel and dimed my insurance company and me while holding my car. White Eagle also did not respect my wish to communicate with me when charging my insurance company anything behind the insurance's approved amount. I found out after the fact due to my calling both White Eagle and my insurance company and asking questions. For transparency, my insurance company is an AllState company, not some questionable second- or third-rate insurance. If you take your car here, you may end up having to pay more than your deductible just to get your car back, as I did. This review should come as no surprise to White Eagle since I clearly expressed my concerns and dissatisfaction to multiple employees, and the shop made no attempt to remedy the situation. In fact, when Ron explained to me as I was picking up my car that a paint job came with a warranty, I explained that I wouldn't be back; he shrugged and said, "That's fine." I'm in my late forties and have worked with multiple body shops throughout my life, and never have I had an experience like this one. Terribly dishonest and unethical business with no commitment to customer service. As a final note: if you didn't read reviews (as I didn't) and now find yourself working with this business, don't let White Eagle coach you into how to get your insurance company to pay for extra charges. Instead, see this action as a red flag, and talk with your insurance company about what's happening from their perspective.

Communication & Care: I dropped my car off and picked up my rental on Monday, March 30th. Kyle was outstanding to deal with. Unmatched Integrity: This is what sets them apart from every other shop in the country. They accidentally caused a minor scratch on one of my windows during the repair. I hadn't even seen it yet, but Kyle proactively called me, took full ownership of it, and completely replaced the glass and the window tinting at zero charge to me--while covering the extra days on my rental car without a single drop of friction. That level of transparency is unheard of today! They literally left no stone unturned--they even have excellent, high-quality candy in the waiting area! After doing quite a bit of research on several shops nearby, a lot of these insurance recommended shops felt like high turnover and didn't seem specialized for Lexus vehicles. I even made a point to call the nearest Lexus dealership and they recommended what felt like a random "mom n pop" shop. As a last resort, I ended up going through the Lexus website where I found Boyce was one of just a handful of Lexus certified shop in the Chicagoland area. After some initial conversations with Kyle and Josue, I could tell they were considering many different aspects of different safety features that could have been damaged from the rear impact collision. This attention to detail sold me, and although I had to wait a couple weeks to bring the car in for repairs I was convinced they wouldn't miss anything during repair. From the minute I decided to go with Boyce, it was pretty much smooth sailing. Boyce took care of any necessary correspondence needed with my insurance company, scheduled Enterprise Car rental to pick me up from the shop, and were very responsive to any calls or emails checking on status. On completion of repairs, I came in to pick up my car which looked pretty close to brand new, however I had noticed some new damage to the driver's side door which wasn't there before. Luckily, Boyce takes hi res photos of the vehicle before taking in and were able to confirm they were at fault. While it was inconvenient to have to bring my car in a second time, I'm just glad Jim was able to confirm and take care of the damages and 2nd rental vehicle. That was very professional, honest, and detail oriented. Knock on wood I don't need to ever come back for repairs, but if I do I know who to call. 'Til next time, cheers!

While the initial service was good, the steering wheel alignment was never exactly centered despite multiple attempts - it remained about 5 degrees off-center (see photo). About 10 months later, I visited the Carol Stream location for a rotation and alignment. Though the first pass was still slightly off, I took it back and the technician (Anthony) did an excellent job. He nailed it, and the results speak for themselves (see picture). Cost was covered under the one-year alignment/new tire set warranty. It may seem like a small thing, but when the alignment/steering wheel is off - the whole care feels off and it's aggravating as #@$. Wait time was well before the promised time. lobby is clean/comfortable, and the sales staff was attentive. I'll be returning for all my tire needs.
