    IMPOSSIBLE BURGER
    Samantha R.

This has been a place I wanted to try for a while now and yesterday my mom and I had the opportunity to drop in for take out after a show. First off for anyone wondering, Plant B is the vegetarian side of Dog Hous; so yes, it is in fact inside the Dog Hous restaurant. Just ask for the Plant B menu and the staff will hand you a paper menu with the right info. That said, some of the items are already on their regular menu so have no fear they do know what they're doing. Mom had the Gooey Louis and I had the Impossible burger; with a shared cheese fries. Both items come on Kings Hawaiian rolls which is honestly our favorite bread so made us happy, just be sure to ask for a knife to cut them into sliders and make it easier to hold. The Gooey was well and truly gooey per its name and very tasty! The impossible was everything you'd want in a burger with a veggie patty twist, and some heat! That was the most surprising thing about it was the sudden flair of heat that I still have no idea if it was from the sauce or something else but was so good and elevated that normal burger to something special. The cheese fries were a real winner and I am not ashamed to admit I definitely ate most of them. Crunchy and perfectly salted in that over salted on its own but paired with cheese makes it perfect way. And best part? The cheese was in a cup!! We were able to dip the fries to get the amount of cheese to fry ratio we wanted or just eat fries. Perfect. Only thing that would have made this whole thing better is if they had an impossible chili to go with it! There's lots of parking in the lot and outdoor seating when the weathers nice, inside are bench seats and games available! Grab a game and play a few just make sure to bring it back to the game counter when you're done. Mom and I are looking forward to trying the rest of the Plant B menu!

    BEYOND BRAT
    Bianca T.

I've gotten food delivered from here twice and both times I was shocked at how good it was. I tried one of their burgers the first time and then got a beyond brat the second time. I occasionally eat vegan food/meat and generally, I prefer impossible meat to beyond. But this time - I literally could not tell the difference whatsoever between this and a "normal" brat. It was SO good and maybe even tasted better than the real thing?? I would 1000% eat here again and recommend to anyone, even the fussiest eaters. I think you could def trick people into thinking any of the meals/meats here are real!

Awesome food, awesome vibes and staff so friendly you feel like you're on a sitcom! Definitely tons of vegetarian/vegan friendly options as well as meat lover options! 10/10 would definitely return!

Buyer beware!! This is Dog Haus disguised as another restaurant. They are the absolute worst. And not in a good way like they want you to believe (like when they spell it würst). We ordered through Grub Hub and when our order arrived, it was not only in a Dog Haus bag, but it wasn't the items we ordered.

    Chipotle "avocado" burger

Just ordered a combo meal tonight, chipotle avocado burger and sooo veggie dog. Can I start by saying what happened to the avocado in the "chipotle avocado" burger? Also the sooo veggie is... well let's just say you used the wrong veggies... Overall the food tasted ok (the burger even tasted good). But omitting ingredients and adding such a weird combination in a hotdog really just not worth the money.

Impossible with NON soggy bread ( not the Hawaiian roll ).

We went back to explore other options as far as burgers. This time i had the holly aoli impossible that is on the menu with fried eggs but i took out the eggs - it was with the chipotle sauce and had the non sweet brioche or pretzel bread which is 100% better FOR ME. I am putting that in capital because according to the manager - people like the Hawaiian roll and love the fact that its sweet and mushy. Not me and as I come to find out , there are other bread options as well - YOU JUST NEED TO EDUCATE yourself by reading these reviews as the bread options are not advertised in any way- and ask for different bread. Maybe its like the " secret sauce at in and out burger and you wither i ow about it or you don't /) ???"??? So the burger was fine, really it was fine . Was it a 5 star !? Not quite yet for me , but a solid 4 AND i will be going back this Weekend and bringing some friends because the option to have no - meat burgers and beer - is still is very appealing to me . My husband also had a burger and we again forgot to change the bread ( we changed it on mine ) and he says it was 4 stars because of the sweet bread - again this is a personal preference - he did give 5 star though for the beef patty and the inside of the burger . I am uploading pics from my 4 star review first and later for the 2 star before ( just to back up the review . Manager was awesome , a pleasure to talk to ( Sergio ) and the staff was super friendly . Will go back. Is there space to improve !? Yes. But its a chain and I think their hands are somewhat tied. Do I wish that this franchise owner will branch out on his own to make it even better ? Hell yeah ! Sign me up !!

    TAKE BNH M (VEGAN)
    Ingrid S.

Lazy and hungry, I scrolled aimlessly through my Uber Eats app trying to decided what to eat over the weekend. I've seen Plant B - Conga Park, the plant based extension of Dog Haus, a million times but I finally decided to give it a go. I knew they had a couple plant based options, but to my surprise they quite a few. (There were way more options on Uber eats app than I've seen on their website. Idk maybe I don't know how to use the website). To keep things simple, since most items still have cheese, egg etc. and I didn't feel like making substitutions, I ordered the item that was listed as vegan. The "Take Bahn Mi" *impossible patty, cilantro, jalapeños, hoisin sauce, spicy veganaise, pickled veggies, on a vegan ciabatta roll* (doesn't that sound so good!!) I also ordered tots and french fries. When my meal arrived it was pretty cold, but I feel like that's just the way things go when you order through a delivery service. (I blame my laziness, not Dog Haus.) I will say that it was packaged and sealed up very nicely! The "Take Bahn Mi" was actually pretty flavorful I was pleasantly surprised! I wish I had taken my time eating it, but I was pretty hungry. I ate some of the fries and tots and decided to reheat them in the oven. They were still just ok. All in all, I will be giving this place another try.

I ordered the spicy basil impossible but without the sauce. It's good but I have to tell you that this vegan hamburger is nowhere near as BIG as the photo presents. This burger is quite small in comparison to the photo which looks stacked with goodness. As someone said it's inside an animal meat restaurant (dog haus) and the impossible burger was packaged inside of a dog haus container which had printed info on Angus cow flesh. That's not exactly very thoughtful.

I used to order delivery often from Plant B. Their food has always been good. It's been a while since I ordered from them. Tonight's order was extremely disappointing. The onion rings were like they were made at Jack in the box. Small fried circles of bread with a hint of onion in each one Tatter tots. Hard deep fried air pockets with air in the pocket no potatoes Take Bánh Mì used to look like what's in the attached photo. That's no longer the case. It arrived in a stale long hard roll with not much more then the thin burger sliced lengthwise with some sauce and a dash of veggies. Needless to say I will not be ordering from them again. BTW it would have been nice to be able to choose no cheese when ordering burgers. You can add a lot but no option to remove

    Me chomping into it!!!!

Ask the Community - Plant B

    Are the onion rings vegan?

Doubtful, almost nothing in their menu is vegan unmodified

Is the chili made with beef?

Hi Mark, thanks for the question. The chili listed on the menu is made with beef. However, if you walk-in and ask one of our cashiers for vegan chili, we do have that on our secret menu in smaller portions that we actually put on our entrees. A… Read more

    Can I order there?

Yes our entire Plant B menu is available in-store. Just let a cashier know you are here for Plant B and they will direct you to the proper menu. We are located inside Dog Haus at 6501 Topanga Canyon Blvd.

    Is Plant B fully vegan?

No. They use egg and dairy too.

Is everything on the menu vegan? Even the cheese?

No, they are in a regular meat-burger kitchen. They use regular cheese and egg and even their bacon is regular meat bacon. Be careful when you order from them.

So far I've had the patty melt, the avocado cheeseburger, and the double bacon cheeseburger, and every single one has hit. First off, the bacon deserves its own mention. Whatever bacon they're using is clearly top-tier quality. Thick, flavorful, cooked right, and definitely not an afterthought. No flimsy strips or skimping here. The burgers are big. Like, legitimately big. These aren't sad, flattened patties. They're hearty, filling, and actually justify the price. They also don't hold back on the cheese, which I appreciate. Everything tastes fresh, well-balanced, and made with care. What really surprised me, especially with inflation being what it is right now, is the value. Their combos are around $16-$17, and for that you get a large burger, a solid portion of fries, and a drink. And it's a fountain drink, not a can, which matters. You're not leaving hungry, and you don't feel like you overpaid. The fries are good, the specials are very reasonable for the quality, and they also have other drink options if you're not in the mood for soda. The vibe is another big plus. You can sit inside or outside, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the people working there are genuinely nice. It really feels like a family-owned spot where customer service still matters. You're treated like a person, not just an order number. For anyone in the neighborhood looking for a good burger, good people, and a comfortable place to sit down and eat, this place is absolutely worth checking out. Oh, and yes, they do have restrooms, which always matters more than people admit. Overall, this is one of those places that gets the fundamentals right: quality food, fair pricing, and good service. I'll definitely keep coming back.

Flavor stacks high. This is old-school LA energy. No edits. No apology. The patty melt understands the assignment. Toasted rye with actual crunch. Buttered deep. Beef smashed thin and wide. Onion cooked down until sweet and jammy. Cheese fully surrendered. Nothing sliding. Nothing dry. Every bite hits the same as the last. Comfort food with discipline. Diner logic executed clean.
