Parking is really easy here, there is a large free parking lot attached right in front. As mentioned service was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. One thing I love about this place is it's very long and there is a very big counter if you prefer to sit there or there's also a long row of booths. So it can host many different sized groups. It has a true retro diner aesthetic to it, which I really love. For this visit, I chose the Turkey Chili and Cheese Omelette and thought it was absolutely fantastic. Everything about it was just great and I would highly recommend to anyone. I also want to point out that their coffee is especially tasty and strong and was another highlight of the meal. I will definitely be back next time I am up in the valley.

I was told by the hosts that that area is first come first serve so she didn't see a problem with it so I sat there. One of the gentleman that works there asked if I wanted anything to drink so I ordered a coffee. Moments later, while drinking my coffee the lady that's assigned to that section asked if I wanted to order anything or if I needed a menu which then I informed her that I was waiting for a table and was told it was cool if I sat there while I drank a coffee. She then rudely stated in Spanish. "I DON'T MAKE MONEY THAT WAY" then storms off. The lady starts complaining to her coworkers and they start looking my way. They then inform the guy that always wears a black shirt and slick back hair who I believe is a manager and he comes over and explains that this section is for walk ins that plan to sit and eat here and am welcomed to wait outside or in the waiting area.I informed him it wasn't a problem but thats the reason I asked from the beginning. I also mentioned we drove from Simi Valley to come here and there were many other restaurant options but I told him how the waitress treated me and he said he would talk to her. I told him I would pay for the coffee and I would leave. He said don't worry about the coffee. I didn't even finish my coffee I set it down and left. After coming here for years with family, friends, even referring this place to others I WILL NEVER COMEBACK AGAIN. We made our way to the Country Café in Chatsworth and of course got great hospitality and food.

We started with the White Truffle Garlic Bread ($16.50) and it did not disappoint -- soft, pillowy, and absolutely amazing, with that white truffle aroma hitting you before the first bite even happens. A must-order starter. We also added the Caesar Salad, which was fresh, crispy, and dressed with an amazing dressing that elevated the whole dish. For mains we had the Braised Short Rib Lumache and the Chicken Parmesan ($28.50). The short rib was delicious, prepared more in a ragu style with the meat shredded throughout the pasta. The flavor was outstanding, though personally I'd have preferred bigger, more substantial pieces of short rib rather than the ragu style presentation. Still a great dish overall. The Chicken Parmesan, though, is where this meal really shined -- one of the best chicken parms in the city. Juicy on the inside, perfectly crispy on the outside, and smothered in a rich marinara with melted cheese. This dish alone is worth coming back for. The service was outstanding -- every single person we interacted with was knowledgeable, attentive, and a genuine pleasure to deal with. The environment is welcoming and well designed, and they seated our party of 6 with ease, no hassle at all. Prices are on the higher side, but you genuinely get what you pay for here -- the quality, portion sizes, and overall execution justify the cost. Sadly, it didn't live up to the Torrance one. We came in a Sunday afternoon for lunch. My friend ordered a Magherita pizza, the server asked if she wanted tie dye sauce on it or bomba sauce. She said no, she likes it plain. I ordered the summer special that comes with app and entree. We waited a while and service was very slow that day. We sat a while waiting for food. Water was a bit slow to refill as well, it was especially noticeable since the food took so long. Once food came out, the pizza had tie dye sauce all over it. My friend said she'd take it but she wasn't too happy. We had been waiting a while already and we were v hungry, so waiting longer for a new pizza was not an option. She scraped the sauce off and I felt super bad for her. They didn't offer anything for getting her order wrong. I got the bolognese pasta and it was SALTY. I love their bolognese, I got it at Torrance location too. This spot oversalted it though. Again, so hungry that i didn't want to send it back and wait for a new dish. Then my app came, the meatballs. This was delicious, def order these. Summer specials is a good deal! When we were done, the server brought the check to the table yet asked me to go to the pay stand with her and stand there as she checked me out. Not sure why she didn't just take my card or bring her little POS machine to the table. My mom rarely cooked it and kids are always afraid of different stuff so i missed out. I realize alot of ancient cultures sacrifice lambs . Could that be bc it truly is food for the gods. This is a good spot if you are interested in trying out some middle eastern style food. Falafels are not bad, they can be a bit crispier and cooked thoroughly inside. Flavors are simple. The sauce can improve as the mayonnaise is strong in it. I ordered with double the meat and got the same amount as usual. Maybe they forgot but at $8.99 as a charge I think it's rather unfair. That's why I dinged them one star. Service is fast. Haven't ever sat inside but looks casual and chill. Hopefully next time they don't forget.

Hey, hate me for my ways, but blood is blood and I'm going to run with this Italian thing for as long as I can. And just as my "old Italian Nonna" might have said, had I actually had one...
