This review is for SEZN, the new fine dining restaurant on the top floor of Plant City (this space used to be two separate restaurants, a Mexican and an Italian restaurant. Offerings from those restaurants can now be found on the ground floor at the more casual counter-order space). Yesterday I went for an early dinner with two other vegan friends and we had a great time sampling their beautiful, creative dishes. Here's what we got: 1. Ceviche: watermelon, radish, hearts of palm, tapioca, lemon verbena, taro, lotus root chips. Beautiful, flavorful, and a refreshing start to the meal. I actually wish there was more of a citrus kick to this dish but it was still very enjoyable. 2. Arancini: wild mushroom, cashew butter, truffle, lemon aioli. The lemon aioli + crispy arancini was delightful and this was the perfect app to share (came with 6 small arancini). 3. Tapioca pearl chicharrón with wasabi and spicy mayo. Wow this thing looked wild, like a piece of coral! Loved the crispiness esp. paired with the wasabi (with the caveat that the tapioca will stick to your teeth) 4. For drinks, I got a strawberry soda mocktail which was quite nice. 5. Steak: made with Chunk Foods, with asparagus, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and au jus. This was such a hearty dish and the vegan steak was wild!! Super umami with a shreddy texture, I think meat lovers would really enjoy this dish. 6. Ravioli: corn, chanterelle mushrooms, macadamia ricotta, cashew butter, asparagus. I thought this would be my favorite dish of the night since I am a huge pasta lover, but while it was yummy, it wasn't a total hit for me (the pasta was on the overcooked side and the dish would have benefited from more textural contrast). Our server was friendly and attentive and everything came out quickly. The corner booths by the window overlooking the river are the best spots, especially as the rest of the restaurant is quite dark (in an aesthetic, chic kind of way). Highly recommend for a great vegan dining experience in Providence!

I have been to Plant City a handful of times. It is in a nice location near the pedestrian bridge and can be a nice spot to grab a coffee and sit to do work. I really enjoy their cafe and some of their food options are fairly good. I have really enjoyed their sandwiches, pizzas and Mexican dishes. However, I tend to run into more issues with their pastas and Italian style dishes. They are, in my experience, over cooked or come out cold. They're able to cater to multiple different dietary restrictions which is great. The staff can be very careful to help with any allergies/restrictions. However, cross-contamination can be an issue because my father has celiac and has gotten sick after eating here.

Visited the new upstairs SeZN restaurant on a hot summer night for a quick date and was not disappointed. The ambiance was cool, dim but not dark, good music but not too loud, a perfect off-ramp from the busy-ness of the city. Easy steps from the beautiful and improving Providence waterfront and pedestrian bridge, this is a great option for college visitors and tourists. The staff was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. We couldn't stay long so ordered a drink and two shares. The Balsamic was a quirky, delicious mix of mezcal and strawberry-balsamic shrub. I'd order it again in a heartbeat. Speaking of beets,... the share Beet salad with quinoa, capers, scallions, and wasabi was AMAZING. Ask for another cracker to scoop with if you go. We also had the Ceviche- radish, heart of palm, lime, coconut and sweet potato made for a perfect taste combination for a cool salad on a very hot night. The cost 'is what it is' for urban dining in America and I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting our beautiful little state.

I went here two years ago and it was very different. You had to decide which restaurant you wanted to eat at. When I went this time it's one big restaurant. There are different sections to eat at. There is a separate restaurant upstairs, however. My friend and I went to Rhode Island. We ate at the bar. I really enjoyed the Korean fried chicken. Everything on the menu is vegan so you don't have to worry what to order. It was crispy and it had this sweet sauce on it. I was very happy. My friend really liked the everything fries. I would definitely go again the next time I'm in Rhode Island.

This resturant is 10/10 ! We're were visiting w a vegan friend and she wanted to just run in and grab something for herself, but we all wanted to go. The meat eaters also loved it. They have a really lovely outdoor area, so we sat out there. They interior was also lovely. Service was great. The Korean Fried "Chicken" was soooo crispy and delicious. The wasabi sauce and pickles were bonkers. I could also eat that pesto.pizza every day. The pesto was so fresh and herbacious. The fries, sandwich, and ceaesar sald were also delicious. Please open a location in Florida!

Have been meaning to try this place for a long time. It's in such a nice area. Across from the Pedestrian bridge and the fire water canal. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Today I sat outside it was 70 F It's nice and comfortable in both. I didn't take a picture of either it was so busy. The food was good my mushroom tacos were surprisingly delicious. There were a number of things I will try again next time.

Incredible variety, top quality, generous portions!! The stuff they serve and sell in the small market is not only vegan but very clean ingredient-wise. I'm very impressed. Having been to many vegan restaurants and food stores, this is a gem. Service is also great and attentive, and more than willing to go the extra mile to bring our food to us. Ambience is whatever you'd want it to be! Restaurant, cafe, casual dining, anything. Will be back!

Food was delicious and service was fast. I ordered the churro donut and the English grey iced tea. Everything was perfect and good. Loved the casual sitting area near the cafe.

Plant City is an impressive space dedicated entirely to plant-based dining, with a menu that's both creative and wide-ranging. On my visit, I ordered the PC Reuben sandwich. The flavors were well-developed--the tangy PC secret sauce and savory fillings delivered on the taste of a classic Reuben. However, the texture was a little off-putting since the seitan was more rubbery than expected. That said, the restaurant itself is bright, modern, and inviting, with an atmosphere that encourages lingering over a meal. Service was smooth, and the menu offers plenty of intriguing options that highlight the versatility of vegan cooking.

I had such a great experience for my first visit at Sezn! The decor here is beautiful -- warm, stylish, and super inviting. The service was excellent too; everyone was friendly and attentive. I tried the steak dish, and it was absolutely delicious -- perfectly cooked and came with a flavorful gravy, sides of roasted carrots and fluffy scallop-like potatoes. I also got the pumpkin pie mocktail, which was such a fun seasonal drink. One of the best parts about Plant City is that you can enjoy Sezn upstairs and then still have all the great options downstairs. Some of my favorites are the buffalo pizza (crispy buff tofu, celery & buff sauce) and the fettuccine alfredo with broccoli, which is super creamy and comforting. Overall, Sezn was fun to try outside of of ordering my usual favorite dishes downstairs, and I am looking forward to ordering the ravioli next!

Everyone should eat here! The menu is expansive and every dish outshines the flavor and quality of it's animal-based counterpart. Always happy to be here and excited to come back. Dogs allowed on the patio is an extra bonus

Plant City is a multi-story all vegan food hall with options including a casual cafe, a craft beer bar, a vegan grocery market, a Mexican restaurant (Besina), and an Italian restaurant (Double Zero). They were originally affiliated with Matthew Kenney restaurants but are now on their own path. Overall, Plant City is well-executed and reminiscent of the experience of Eataly in NYC. The biggest issue is trying to decide what you want to eat, since there are so many options. The cafe downstairs has draft local kombucha (from Luluna) and lots of appealing grab-and-go items. Many are on the healthier side with ingredients listed which I really appreciate. I brought home the chia pudding, the lentil salad, and the chickpea salad and ate them the next day and greatly enjoyed them all. During our visit, they were doing renovations, so Besina and Double Zero were operating out of the same space (usually they are separate). Unfortunately, Double Zero's pizza oven was not operational, so they were unable to serve pizza. We had the signature lentil meatballs as an appetizer which were GREAT. They are savory and flavorful and topped with abundant delicious red sauce, cashew cheese, and fresh basil. Then, for our main courses, we pivoted to the Mexican side of the menu and ordered the burrito and the fajita bowl. These items were reminiscent of Bar Verde in NYC although not crafted with quite as much attention to detail. We also appreciated that they serve draft local kombucha from Luluna, although they unfortunately served it over ice!

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

That lasted about 30 seconds…read more The owner (adorable, by the way) was walking around checking on tables and making sure everyone was happy. It feels like her place in the best way -- warm, proud, hands-on. Pastries are legit. Super buttery, flaky enough to make a mess, clearly baked that morning. No sad, sitting-around-all-day vibes. Ordered the breakfast sandwich and that tomato jam needs to be illegal. Sweet, savory, slightly tangy -- it completely makes the sandwich. I kept trying to figure out how to recreate it at home. Not happening. Crispy chicken sandwich was properly seasoned and not dried out (why is that so hard for some places?). Fries were solid too -- crispy, not limp. And the kale salad with roasted chickpeas and chicken made me feel like I had my life together. Fresh, simple, and actually satisfying. It's one of those places you stumble into while traveling and then immediately start googling whether you can justify going back the next day.

I'm also not just talking about their signature martinis with the names. They have different types of martinis and fruity ones as well, and those are just as delicious, maybe even a little better than their signature ones, which always hit the spot regardless. I usually come here to chitchat with friends and catch up for drinks, so I haven't gotten huge meals, but I've heard that the food is delicious, and I definitely will be coming back to try it. I did try their charcuterie board, and it's so delicious and filling, and perfect for picking at a little something while you have your delicious drinks. Location: This location is right in the heart of downtown PVD. This place definitely gives more business casual vibes, but you can definitely dress up to go on a date. If I'm not mistaken, Friday and Saturday nights definitely have more of a club vibe after a certain time, but during the week, I've also gone before, and it's very low-lit, romantic, and honestly perfect for any occasion, especially with the type of drinks they have! Parking can be a little difficult because it's downtown, but you can always try to get street parking with a little walk. I honestly find parking down the street, and it's not that hard. There's also parking you can pay for right on the corners, so there are different ways of finding a place to park. Taking an Uber would be a great idea as well, so you don't have to deal with anything and can drink as much as you want. They do not have valet. Service: The service has always been super friendly and very accommodating. Honestly, all the times that I've gone, they've been very helpful with helping us get seats and just giving us a great experience, even with how busy it gets. This is definitely a spot that I not only recommend to everyone, but it's somewhere that I will continue to go because it's genuinely one of my favorites!

As someone who appreciates when restaurants go the extra mile for their guests, I thought that was fantastic. I came in around noon on Sunday, and the place was surprisingly quiet, offering a peaceful escape from the busy weekend crowds. The bartender was absolutely wonderful. Although she seemed to be the only person working the floor at the time, she managed everything with such grace and friendliness. She was attentive and so kind, and she mixed some amazing drinks. I enjoyed a couple of their signature 110 Margaritas, and they were both fantastic, perfectly balanced with fresh citrus flavors and just the right amount of tequila kick. For my meal, I ordered the Apricot Shrimp Risotto along with a side Caesar salad, and it completely blew me away. The risotto was creamy and rich without being heavy or mushy, and I was delighted that there were no diced onions hiding in it, since I usually find they overpower the dish. The shrimp were large and tender, and the hint of sweetness from the apricot created a beautiful harmony of flavors. It was one of those meals that stays with you long after you have left town because it was genuinely that delicious. Looking through the menu, I noticed that 110 Grill offers a great variety of dishes ranging from hearty steaks and burgers to creative seafood options and vibrant vegetarian plates. Their menu often features seasonal specials and locally inspired flavors, keeping things fresh and exciting. They also have an impressive cocktail list and a nice selection of wines and local craft beers, which makes it a great spot for both dinner and drinks. Service, even during quiet times, felt warm and personal, and I appreciated how attentive the staff were to details, especially when it comes to food allergies or dietary preferences. If you find yourself staying at the Residence Inn or anywhere nearby, or you simply want a delicious meal in a modern, comfortable setting, I highly recommend checking out 110 Grill. It was the perfect place to relax, indulge in a fantastic meal, and treat myself during my trip to Flight Sim Expo. I am already looking forward to coming back the next time I am in town.
