I would go to the Providence location each time I flew in from Charleston to visit my sister. We were so disappointed when the Providence location closed, but so relieved to know that the Barrington restaurant was still there and expanded. The Barrington restaurant has the ambiance and similar feel of Providence, with less space but equally as comfortable. The salads we ordered were divine, as was the lasagna and the forbidden black rice dish. We almost never order dessert, but we did in this case. It was excellent. Our service was superb. We could not have asked for a more attentive and informed server. We were also thrilled to get some of our favorites as takeout -- lentils, quinoa salad, and the delicious eggplant. From the Providence location days, I would especially enjoy having back theme nights with vegan cuisine from around the world. I would also welcome special seminars on vegan cooking and cuisine. In the category of great, nutritious food, this is truly an exceptional place. I highly recommend frequenting this restaurant with friends and family! You will not be disappointed.

Everyone who works there is friendly and inviting, and even gave us a cute little amuse to start the night and the buckwheat shortbread to end. Here's everything we ordered: Agnolotti stuffed with tofu ricotta, with English peas, bacon, and a savory broth (my entree, I loved this - the broth was quite salty but the peas added a lovely freshness) Fazzoletti e funghi: local blue oyster mushrooms in a white wine cream sauce ‍ (my Mom's entree, also delicious and so umami) "Ivy rose" mocktail with grapefruit, prickly pear, and limeade (delightful!) Appetizers: fried squash blossoms stuffed with tofu ricotta in pomodoro sauce, and housemade focaccia with a trio of whipped butters (thyme and shallot, Calabrian chili, and smoked sweet onion). The ratio of butter to focaccia was more than double what we could use (we ordered more focaccia to spread it on!) but both of these apps were perfect. Foglia burger: house burger patty, tomato jam, garlic aioli, lettuce, onions, pickles, onion ring, housemade focaccia, and spicy agave parsnip fries (my dad's entree and to my delight he really enjoyed it!) Dessert: a gigantic slice of tiramisu (my favorite cake!). This was a huge slab, enough to share and have some leftover for breakfast. A little on the dry side for tiramisu but still really nice. Foglia is such a gem and we had a great time in Bristol, it's a beautiful town. The restaurant is small and cozy but was not too busy when we went. I highly recommend Foglia for a special occasion!

A true hidden gem--one that deserves to stick around…read more We've been here a few times, but this was our first experience with the tasting menu (with wine pairing), and it really elevated everything. Advertised a 5 courses - we counted seven. The evening unfolded at a perfect pace over a relaxed two-plus hours, with attentive, knowledgeable service that never felt rushed. While we're not typically focused on vegetarian cuisine, every course was thoughtful, flavorful, and satisfying. The appetizer and pasta courses were standouts--creative, beautifully executed, and memorable. The wine pairings were spot-on and complemented each dish seamlessly. Restaurants like this only survive if diners seek them out and return--so whether it's your first visit or your fifth, it's well worth it. The chef/owner was nominated for a James Beard Award a few years ago, and the talent is evident in every course. Total with tip was about $370--very fair for the quality and experience.

They had cookies and tarts that looked incredible (definitely going back to try those ), but we went for the classic vegan hot dog and it was so satisfying. Super flavorful, generously loaded with sauces, and that perfect crunch in every bite. It had that nostalgic street-food feel while being completely plant-based. After trying them at the fest, we're definitely planning a visit to their restaurant to explore more of the menu. Highly recommend if you're in Rhode Island and looking for creative, delicious plant-based food. There was zero interest or flavor and that she missed Basil & Bunny's crunch wrap. She is right. Basil & Bunny has so many great and delicious options that don't make me feel like our dietary restrictions are an afterthought. We don't have to eat uber bland and entirely green. If you want a fast food burger this is not the place. Your food won't come out in under a minute, but the staff is pleasant and friendly and the decor is fun. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and it isn't unusual to see a well behaved dog sitting under one of the tables outside.
