I ordered a burger with fries; pretty basic and in my mind I felt it would have been hard to mess it up. It took forever for us to get our order even though the place wasn't busy at all, and then when the food came out, my fears were confirmed. The fries were saturated in grease, stale and un-edible. My burger had a pretzel bun- which I was excited for until it came out hard as a rock. The patty on my burger was probably the only edible part; but it seemed like a typical frozen patty that you would get at your local grocery store. My advice: if you can, go somewhere else for dinner. Also, the breakfast buffet is the exact same every day, so if you're looking for variety, head into town to check out the fantastic local places.

I didn't have my readers on me and had a hard time reading the menu. So her describing some of the cocktails to me was very helpful. Dogwood has a number of classic drinks, margaritas and martinis. Some of the fun names that I saw were Thor's Hammer, D Cup, Porch Song, Mr. Pink and Beetnik. I ordered the Headhunter and enjoyed my drink.
