After a dormant winter season it was time to wake up the sprinkler system, and as seems to be typical ... there were problems. Flooding caused by cracked lines, heads not popping up or properly rotating, and coverage areas not appropriately aligned. Tried to fix it myself, but too messy and too many trips back and forth to Lowes and Home Depot for the inevitable wrong parts. Time for help!!! Checked on Yelp and Big League Irrigation stood out. Reviews claimed a 100% call back rate and call back within 20 minutes. That was important to me, and it was ABSOLUTELY TRUE. Vincent was able to work me in the next day, even though it was a Saturday. He came as promised and right on time with his assistant Damien, and they got right to the job. They had all the materials needed and finished the job in under 2 hours, including cleanup. Very happy with the work and the price was very fair. They are now on my speed dial for all future irrigation repairs. Don't waste time looking elsewhere... call Big League Irrigation. You won't be disappointed.

They helped me navigate the permitting process for the new water meter, had it connected, and tested it with the town. The second was fixing drainage issues in the yard. Rob walked around the property and was able to determine where to best place catch basins/connect gutters to reduce run-off. The project was completed in two days, and I haven't had drainage issues since! The team is reliable and the work is done to a high standard. I appreciated how they were able to keep much of the grass intact, it was hard to tell where the work was done after a few weeks. They also stand by their work. One of the gutter drainage pipes surfaced slightly after a storm, and the team came back out and re-buried it at no charge.

The original estimate was around $2,000, but the final bill came in nearly $1,000 higher without any prior discussion or approval. Even more frustrating, the crew completed the installation without testing the system and without notifying us that the job was finished. Communication throughout the project was poor. Rob was often unresponsive to texts, and on multiple occasions he scheduled appointments and then simply didn't show up. We received no call, text, or explanation, leaving us to rearrange our schedules for appointments that never happened. After the installation, we discovered the irrigation system was not adequately watering all of the beds. It took about a month to get someone back out to evaluate the problem. When they finally did, they made some adjustments but then attempted to charge us additional money to correct issues that should have been identified before the project was considered complete. To their credit, they ultimately removed that charge after we pushed back. Unfortunately, the system still does not perform as expected. There appears to be insufficient water pressure to provide proper coverage, and the project likely needed to be designed with additional zones from the start. Instead, it feels like the system was installed without adequate planning, testing, or quality control. Between the poor communication, missed appointments, unexpected cost increase, lack of testing, and a system that still doesn't properly irrigate our beds, we cannot recommend Rain or Shine Landscaping.

We had ongoing issues with heads not shutting off and leaks. Charlie called when I sent in the inquiry to make sure it was not an emergency and then we settled on a time to meet. He did a complete troubleshooting of our system and fixed every problem. He reminds me of my Dad who says "if you don't do it right, it's not worth doing." In honesty, the total was a lot more than I was wanting to spend. It was a tough conversation, but in the end he stated "I just want you to be happy and I'll do whatever it takes for you to be a happy customer." We worked our issue out professionally and I am a happy customer! One month later, we had a completely separate issue from what he fixed initially. He came out to fix the problem for "on the house" for being patient and a loyal customer. He never was a no show. He always texted or called to tell me he was running late. It's been several months since he worked on our house and usually I get frustrated months later and swear I'll never call back, but not Chuck's Irrigation. Now...he's a very busy man and he'll tell you that, but he won't lie and he'll stay true to his word. I had been interested in getting lighting for the house. He offered to do a sample trial of the lighting and did 2 weeks of the sample. He's a smart business man because I loved it so much. I got so many compliments from neighbors I kept his lighting!

Lousy ratings and found one person on here that got scammed also the same way. Amazing, how you stay in business but that will change. You also charged me with a backflow system I never needed as I just had one installed last year. I directly instructed your worker to leave me behind all the parts which was 7 heads and a back flow system. The worker did not leave the old backflow system as instructed. I doubt a new system was put it. The brand new backflow was working just fine. Your ridiculous mockery of an invoice will not be paid, certainly not $1,672.78 What you did was a crime. I will notify authorities. I have 15 heads and half of them you took out out of the ground

That trust was the reason I didn't even consider another company when it came time for a new irrigation system. Unfortunately, this project has been a nightmare. From the start, the system ran at 110 PSI before a pressure-reducing valve was installed. Soon after, Zone 1 failed and multiple spray heads had to be replaced due to debris. By midsummer, a large soaked area appeared in my front yard. Despite repeated visits, I received contradictory explanations -- first it was "just drainage," then valves were replaced, then a leak was suspected. Weeks later, the yard is still not dry, the ground has sunk, and the area smells and attracts flies. A leak detector finally found a leak right in front of the backflow, before he could even check the rest of the system or the still-soaked front yard. Now it is Labor Day weekend, and after months of repeated visits, contradictory explanations, and incomplete fixes, there is still no end in sight -- all while the system is still under warranty.

The technician, Anthony, told us the repair kit would cost about $100. That already seemed high, but I agreed. When the bill arrived, we were charged over $200 just for the parts. On top of that, they claimed the technician was here longer than he actually was. I reached out to their coordinator, Kim Ayscue, and got no help at all. After reading more reviews, it is clear that this kind of overcharging is a regular thing for them. It is really disappointing and has made us reconsider working with Agape as well. I would strongly recommend avoiding Greenway Irrigation unless you want to be overcharged and ignored!
