Devin and his team showed up on time, were incredibly friendly, worked fast, and were true professionals. They cut down a 100 ft. Hemlock and a 50 ft. Pine, and trimmed some very large trees to raise the canopy up. I would not hesitate to hire this team again!

Our first job was a major one: removing a very large tree--well over 100 feet tall--that was leaning toward our home. It was not an easy decision, as we loved that tree, but safety came first. The care, professionalism, and respect MTS showed throughout the process meant everything to us. The work was done safely and expertly, the cleanup was immaculate, and the crew treated the situation with genuine understanding. It was clear right away that this is not just a tree removal company--these are true arborists who deeply understand and respect the trees they work with. Years later, when our landscape needed attention again, MTS was the obvious choice. We had overgrown laurels we couldn't safely trim ourselves, neighboring trees contributing constant pine needles to our gutters, and several shrubs that needed proper pruning and reshaping. MTS sent an arborist to walk the property with us, listen carefully, explain our options, and help us prioritize the work within a realistic budget. There was no pressure--just knowledgeable, honest guidance. The crew that completed the work was outstanding: professional, articulate, thoughtful, and incredibly clean. They did all the pruning we discussed, answered our questions, and even offered species-specific advice--explaining how certain pruning choices would improve the long-term health and appearance of our plants rather than harm them. We plan to use MTS Tree and Landscape every couple of years for ongoing pruning and for all future tree and landscape needs. It is rare to find a company this skilled, respectful, and genuinely invested in their clients' property. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

As good as it gets!…read more After getting a couple of quotes, we chose Custom Pavers & Design because the bids were about the same but they seemed more professional in their approach. We are not disappointed in choosing them. They did our driveway, path down to the house, 8 stairs and a patio in front of our house. All are done extremely well. The installers are perfectionists and it shows in their work. Highly recommend them.

I hired Custom Pavers & Design for a major backyard renovation project costing approximately…read more$200,000 in 2024, including retaining walls, terraces, drainage, steps and other landscaping work. In March 2026, I discovered that one of the retaining walls was leaning. After discussing the issue with CP&D, they agreed in writing to repair the wall and affected surface under their warranty at no additional cost to me. CP&D also recommended additional drainage work costing $2,265, which I agreed to proceed with and paid a 50% deposit. They also confirmed a five-year warranty for the repair, through June 2031. Unfortunately, the biggest issue has been the repeated delays and missed commitments. The repair was originally scheduled for the week of June 1, 2026. Since then, I have repeatedly followed up with CP&D, and they have provided multiple different dates and commitments regarding when the crew would come and complete the work. Those dates have repeatedly been pushed back. After spending approximately $200,000 with this company, I expected much better follow-through when a problem arose with the work. Instead, I have spent months repeatedly contacting the contractor trying to get a warranty repair and additional drainage work completed. As of August 20 2026, the work is still not finished, after months of delays and repeated changes to the schedule, I cannot recommend Custom Pavers & Design. Because of the ongoing delays and inability to resolve the matter, I have filed a complaint with the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) and provided them with the relevant contract, payment records, correspondence, and photographs for review. I'm sharing my experience so other homeowners considering a major project understand the importance of getting clear timelines, warranty commitments, and follow-through in writing.
