Food was tasty! Several gluten free options. Server was great about checking with the kitchen to confirm if items were gluten free.

The pistachio baklava was delicious, but it was very very sweet! Our waiter, Seamus was very attentive and friendly. He mentioned that the paella was spicy and we were able to change it to a mild flavor. It was really nice of him to mention that to us since it wasn't listed on the menu that the paella would be spicy.

The place was redone and the atmosphere is casual modern upscale with the bar/lounge area to the right side and dining rooms to the left side. There is also outdoor patio seating. The menu offers Mediterranean fare including tapas/mezze, charcuterie, large plates (meat & seafood dishes, pasta), sandwiches, burgers, salads, and dessert. The bar offers 4 draft beers, bottle/can beers, wine, cocktails, and mocktails. The prices are moderate high. I stopped by Luna Mare for dinner during their soft opening phase. The place was fairly busy and I took an open seat at the C-shaped bar. The bartender gave me a paper menu to look over Some menu items were not available. I ordered the Mussels Saganaki ($12 plus tax) and Fried Fish Sandwich with Fries ($18 plus tax). I was given a basket of ciabatta bread with olive oil dip. The mussels arrived first, 20 mussels simmered with white wine, peppers, garlic, feta cheese. Next, the fried fish sandwich arrived, which had Turkish tatare, beets & lettuce between chewy ciabatta bread, served with puffed potato curl fries. After that, I got the check which was $32.10 (cash)/$33.38 (card) with tax and before tip. Overall, the food here was pretty good and I would come back when the full menu is available.

This was our first visit on a Saturday evening and we were glad we made reservations as it was packed yet still maintained a great atmosphere. Our male server Burak was very attentive, professional, and very friendly. We ordered the Lavash with the mixed appetizer - tabouli, Mediterranean salsa, hummus, and Haydari. Chicken and Beef Kabobs as our entrees. Their signature cocktail Istanbul Peach Martini and a glass of Autorotas Sauvignon Blanc. As always the Lavash was amazing as was the Kabobs. The Kabobs came with a scoop of white rice, potatoes and a great salad with no lettuce, just marinated tomatoes. Cucumber, onion with herbs.

The dining room is nice, a bit quirky as it is an old train station. Our waitress was pleasant and was happy to answer any questions we had. Food from the kitchen was a tad slow, but it was a Saturday night and they were slammed. We were told we had to order the bread with the assortment of cold appetizer spreads and that really was fantastic. Piping hot bread, huge and an assortment of 4 dishes to go with it. All were tasty, especially the hummus. This alone is worth the journey to find this place. I had the lamb kofte, which are flattened meatballs usually cooked like a kebob. I was served a large portion and they tasted delicious, plenty to bring home. The other diners with me enjoyed their chicken kabob, falafel and kabob wrap. We thought the prices were fair for such generous portions. We will try again if in the area. Give this place a try if you have been sitting on the fence like me.

Rough start but good food…read more It had opened the week before, and there are kinks to work out. Workers were king of bumping into each other, running around, not one steady at register, kept changing. The ice wasn't working, the worker there was complaining about it to me. Though workers knew what to do in their roles mostly, they were not professional at all. Seemed like nice people but no smiles, didn't speak well (English was their first language), some looked sloppy in really oversized shirts, hair disheveled, etc. Greens options looked good, rice was good, braised lamb was pretty good, steak though cut into very small pieces was good. Important to say that when you order two different proteins, you are charged for the 2nd one. The seasonings on all proteins seemed moroccan, the grilled chicken was spicy, not just plain grilled chicken. Seasonings seemed repetitive to each other. Not a huge fan and I really like moroccan food. Sauces were good - tzatziki was great, good hummus, special feta was good. Prices are pretty high, like Boston prices, wish the prices were more prominent, like when buying 2 proteins, didn't know it would be doubled, thought the one serving was split into 2. Inside seating is like eating inside a pizza parlor which was fine. It seemed clean and new. Outside seating is plentiful and nice. Many were sitting outside. We would go back in another month or two. It's a good options. Wish they had the grilled vegetables for a choice on the protein. They simply didn't have some things because they are new.

From the moment we sat down on the patio on a warm summer afternoon, everything just clicked. We also ordered the octopus, potatoes, multi-herbed yogurt, pastas, and the fish special. Every plate was thoughtfully presented, the ingredients were incredibly fresh. Bonus points for having leftovers from the appetizers. Expect to spend around $75+ per person, but for the quality, experience, and execution, it was justified. Restaurants using local/seasonal ingredients will always be my favorite, and Settler is exactly the kind of place I'm excited to return to. Now I just need to a little self-control next time to save room for dessert.

I asked for the feta & tzatziki inside the wrap, not as a side so I was surprised to be charged $4 more for it since it wasn't a significant amount, like the spicy tahini inside the container. Came across a video of their chicken schwarma wrap and decided to gove it shot and i tell you $18 wrap had me fumming at myself but the wrap was amazing and size nice as well and not those tinny tiny ones. Grilled with sauce and sesame seeds and all I took the falafels but they were so fresh and hot that i had to try them in the car and they were most unique tasting in good way and were really amazing. This is my husband's favorite handheld in the area. He doesn't like pickles but he likes it in the wrap! The service is very friendly, and they also sell some baklava. Mostly street parking (or as I said make-your-own street parking). For me personally the French fries make the wrap a little too heavy - don't get me wrong, it's still delicious but I might try getting a different wrap and asking for the habibi sauce on the outside to see if it's more balanced for me. The sleeper hit was the 1/2 chicken - completely butterflied and roasted in a crazy flavorful spice mix and served on top of French fries and pita with toum inside (plus a side of toum and habibi). It's like a deconstruction special wrap, but the chicken is insane and way better than the chunks. Highly recommend if you're looking for something different! There's only three seats inside so not great for dine-in, but when they said we were eating inside, they offered to cut our wrap in half and served it on two paper plates with napkins plus a little stick of gum for afterwards! I thought that was such a thoughtful touch!
