Wings

Came here to catch some college football and this spot delivered. Tons of seating, TVs everywhere--no bad view of the game. Tried the Hot Honey and Nashville Hot wings--both were good. Super crispy, super fresh. Parking took a minute--lot was packed--but once we got inside, it was smooth. Service was fast even with the game-day crowd. Great vibe, solid drinks, and quick service even on a busy game day.

Great spot watch sports. Large space, plenty of TVs every where inside and outside. I advise to make a reservation for a primo spot, but even in doing so it's not guaranteed as we found out. Service is on the slow side. The apps we tried were good!

This is a great place to go to watch a lot of games. Plenty of tvs and seating area. Overall the service was slow and it was difficult to order a new drink, get napkins, etc. the buffalo chicken flatbread was insanely spicy with too much buffalo sauce. The pizza was drowning in it. I love buffalo spice, but this was a new level, no amount of blue cheese or ranch could fix it. The summer bliss drink was strong but not that flavorful. I would not go here for quality food or drinks but they did have on a lot of sports games. The view of the city is great from the rooftop. They do have large booths inside you can rent out with a $500 minimum if you wanted to stay a while.

The lack of parking for a sports bar of this size is disappointing. If you plan on visiting, ride share, or take the Light rail. The interior is modern & there are plenty of screens. It gets super busy during NFL games, so get there early if you expect to sit down. The food was just okay for me. My Philly cheesesteak wrap was a bit on the greasy side.

Platform Sports exceeded expectations. The food was flavorful, and the drinks were perfectly refreshing. I went with the "High Steaks Strip," a grilled New York strip steak paired with balsamic-drizzled Brussels sprouts (a tasty upgrade from the usual baked potato). I opted for a medium cook, and the steak, seasoned with herb butter, was one of the best I've had at a sports bar. It was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The Brussels sprouts were delightfully crispy, just the way I like them, and the balsamic glaze added a sweet tangy touch that never disappoints. Note: They do include a 20% automatic gratuity on all bills, regardless of party size. #GratuityAdded #PlatformSports #NYStrip #SteakCLT #PlatformSportsBar. #PlatformSportsCLT #Bigscreens #CLTRooftops #CLTNightLife #eatdrinkclt #newspotscharlotte #MLKClt #CLTVegetarian. #capricornszn #CharlotteEats #CharlotteFoodScene #fypclt #fypcharlotte #charlottefood #charlottenc #cltfoodie #queencity #charlottesgotalot #eatdrinkclt #exploreclt #charlottefoodies e #cltfoodies #issawrap #discoverclt #cltguide #charlottefoodguide

My friend and I came here for a love island watch party. There are plenty of seat indoors and outdoor. Tv see everywhere which is perfect for a sports bar. They had a love island drink menu. I don't drink but they were able to make one of the drinks a mocktail which I appreciate. I also ordered pizza. The pizza was good nothing crazy

One Saturday afternoon we headed to Platform to see what the hype was about. It's in a great location and the tvs are enormous. We ordered a few drinks. One of the drinks, a spicy grapefruit concoction, was quite literally the worst drink ever made in the history of mixology. Hopefully, they'll take it off the menu soon. The server was nice, although the service was slow. A few ladies randomly passed out free Hennessy shots to anyone interested. All in all, it seems like a decent place to visit and with a group of friends to watch the game.

Came to watch an NBA playoff game on a weeknight and had a good experience. Easily accessible from South End via rail trail. They have 3 huge walls of TVs, one of which is outside which is great for when the weather is nice. Their outdoor rooftop space is so nice. Only grabbed a couple beers so can't speak on the food but there seemed to be a lot of variety on the menu. They were also having trivia night which is every Tuesday. Would definitely come back for future sports games!

Do you want to have a good time? Be in a fun and exciting atmosphere while not missing out on any games? The screen is massive. The venue holds plenty of people. The owners are wonderful and personable. The food was great. I had the calamari and my husband had the buffalo chicken flat bread. We sent empty plates back. We also got a chance to meet the head chef. He told us about his experience and how its been opening Platform Sports. The balcony is scheduled to open later this month. I can't wait to come back and enjoy the night air (if it's not too cold). The DF was great. He played a mix of everyone's favorite music. I didn't mind that the music was turned up and the games were muted. I could focus on my game but when commercials came on, I could check out another game. If you want to have a good time, please give them a try.

Platform was a really fun sports bar, and a great place to watch a day of football! I loved the outdoor seating area, which was perfect for a beautiful fall day. The indoor aspect wasn't quite as unique, but still served as an awesome sports bar environment. All of the staff were really nice, and that had a fine-enough selection of beers. I'd definitely recommend stopping in to Platform if you're looking for a place to watch the day's sporting events!

I'm really late with this post but I visited during the NFl playoffs season. Vibe was cool, drinks were chill, food was at PAR and I love the outdoor atmosphere. It's the perfect place to go for sports watching and trash talking. Definitely will be going back.

The menu this time is theme park theme... again, a fun concept but not well executed. Pretty overwhelming, especially with the bartenders explaining the menu to us twice with the same spiel there is too much to look at it makes it difficult to pay attention to the drinks. I really did not love my drink (starbreaker?) you could only taste the lychee The bartenders not a vibe, it was not that comfortable to sit at the bar. Now while she was vaguely aware of their "spirited kingdom" menu, I had NO CLUE. It was the best surprise! They have such a cool menu with a full theme park map containing 4 lands with 4 cocktails each. The cocktails all match the type of ride they are, it's honestly such a cool idea, and it was so well done. I loved the art. I will say, I was skeptical that all of their drinks would actually work and worried that they'd be too caught up in the theme to make results but . . . Oh my goodness I was so impressed by the drinks here. I think a lot of bars these days can get so caught up in trying to be unique that their drinks become nearly undrinkable. This place definitely doesn't suffer there. They brought us an aperitif when we came in, but unfortunately I have a blueberry allergy so we skipped that. We had 4 drinks between the 2 of us and they were all awesome. I ordered the star breaker and the green dragon (what can I say, I love gin and a good coaster), and they were both balanced and tasty. My friend got the diablo and the neon shift, and they were both fantastic as well! The neon shift was served with a black light too which was super cute. The one drink I have to call out specifically is the green dragon. There was something about this drink that was so unique, I have genuinely never had anything like it but I would order it a thousand times over. It's so good. It keeps me up at night. It haunts my every bar order. I will be writing home about it. What else can I say about this place - the service was great, the atmosphere was fun, and the DJ was amazing. I thought "wow this guy really likes sax covers" only to look over and see him PLAYING HIS SAXOPHONE LIVE?? Iconic. This place was perfect and I wouldn't change a thing about it. The spirited kingdom menu will only be around for 6 months according to the waitress, so definitely catch it while it's there! If I'd heard about it sooner, I would've maybe descended upon them with 200+ theme park engineers in town for the conference (maybe it's a good thing I didn't know they were there until after it was over), but instead I will just say DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND MAKE YOUR RESERVATION NOW

We waited way too long. The 1 line for drinks being made by 1 server took extremely long. Although the music was great bring played by the live dj, it did not take away the frustration. No one should have to chase for service that the establishment is known for. No one should have to wait on a extremely long line just to receive a drink at a hookah lounge. This is not a club by any means. Even if you have an event, the establishment should plan much better for the crowd by make it a more efficient and effective experience. The transition was horrible.

Fun, lively place…read more My friends and I were in town and wanted to have one last drink before we jetted out the next morning, so we ended up in trendy South End. First thing we noticed was how HUGE this place is. I feel like everywhere we turned, each section had its own vibe and its own designated bar. With the loud music, it was more loungey than anything and the crowd was on the much younger side. Canopy seems to be the go-to place in the South End. We did not encounter this kind of lines or crowds anywhere else in the area. Ordered a grapefruity drink (Our Flowerchild) off the menu and it was pretty good. There's outdoor seating, and initially we wanted to sit outside but we didn't have reservations. Luckily, they seated us at a small corner section near the back of the bar. It's very cozy and intimate inside. Just my type of vibe. The service was top tier. They were unable to validate our parking because of some sort of discrepancy with the signage outside and lack of having the proper equipment for validation. To make up for it, they offered us complimentary champagne to start. We were not expecting that, and pleasantly surprised! Their menu has an eclectic selection of cocktails, both full and mini. We opted to order from the mini cocktail menu, and we each ordered two drinks. I had the Creepy cucumber cocktail and it was refreshingly sweet and probably my favorite drink of the night. I also ordered the Don't Shy Away which was a sour and spicy rum concoction with carrot in it. It was definitely spicy and had a puréed texture. I really enjoyed it. And, then don't get me started on the music!!! The dj was masterful. He played all the types of music I love and he mixed them in such a refreshing way. I ended up asking him for his contact information before leaving, and whether he does weddings because my fiancé and I are currently looking for a DJ. He was just that good. This would definitely be my spot if I lived here in Charlotte. It was the perfect way for us to end the night.

It's a small intimate setting and I do love the dark aesthetic they did. Gives it a swanky vibe and makes a great date spot. But they were burning incense in the tiny space and it was overwhelming. The other bar guests sitting next to us agreed. *They did finally pick up on it and the staff moved it toward the kitchen door* Staff was friendly as well, though, it was busy and looked as if they had a trainee in tow, so attention was lacking just a bit. So why we came: The drinks were average to me. One was weird (Pineapple Fried Rice) and I just couldn't get it sit well on my palate - and I tried - sip after sip. But the mixologist saw my struggle and swapped it out for a different one. I did like the Don't Shy Away - it was an interesting take on a margarita with a strong carrot base. The Whispering Dove was a take on a Paloma and I couldn't find the lemongrass infusion on my palate. So I found it pretty basic, but pricey. So overall, decent. And I might stop buy if I was stuck in the area again.
