If I could select negative stars I would. Instead I'll write a review to warn anyone else from doing business with these people. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 64 years of life. Their Service Manager is flat out awful as a manager and human being! Even his representatives hate him. They did not take care of a problem with a brand new Charger when my son brought it in due to a vibration while driving. They told him the car was fine. Fast forward less than 11,000 miles, and the inside of the rear tires were worn to the point they blew out, (and it was the inside, so you could not tell anything was happening). The cause was the camber and toe in the rear alignment from the factory. Do you think Stalantis/Dodge would cover that, no they don't cover tires under warranty even though it was a mechanical issue that cause the tires to wear. Do you think Platinum Dodge would cover things (they were the ones saying everything was fine), nope. They wanted to charge 680+ dollars for the two rear tires, that we could buy for $230 at Discount tire. They said that they would mount the tires we purchase and would charge $60 for mounting. When my son came with the tires, they said they would not mount the tire as they weren't bought by them. Then when my son drops off a letter explaining the situation to the management group, they have the car towed to an outside storage company, calling it abbandond. Legal action will be taken, but it clearly shows how little they care about their clients and their own reputation. I have given the this place the last chance I can give. Last oil changes my care was leaking oil they fixed it ok the fine. This time (today) my car is leaking oil once again after an oil change, I guess the are way to busy to returns calls. Not tom mention I got my brakes done by them, but when I look at my brakes, it doesn't look like they've been done and today I I got one of their recommendation that I needed to have my back brakes done, which was at three and I swear earlier this year I had those done so they should be at a 10 honesty they can't be trusted. I have decided I will not buy my next sheet from them. I'm going outside of Terrell, which is quite sad to buy my next car. If I was you, I will go elsewhere because the way they do. Brought truck in on a Monday for 3 recalls and 2 codes. Was not met by anyone when I pulled in. They were all sitting at their desks, many on their personal cell phones Went inside and was told by Johnny it be be 4 days to simply diagnose the codes. No loaner available. Given a courtesy van ride home home. But van turns around and goes back to the dealer to switch drivers because "the boss wants me to come back. By Thursday around 12 I finally am told what the simple fix is to the codes. ZERO attempt was made over the last 3.5 days to fix the recalls while it was there. Johnny advises me that I will have my truck by Friday. Which is great, I need it to go out of town. Left two voice mails for Johnny. No call backs No word from Johnny by 5pm so I text. He finally said my truck would not be done by Friday close of business. I tell him I have to have it tomorrow (Saturday) I am going out of town or I need a loaner. Silence. I show up Saturday after 12 at the dealership. Vehicle is not ready. Johnny is not working. The young gentleman that is working pulls up my account and shows me the note where Johnny posted at 6:58pm on Friday "called the customer and notified that the vehicle would not be ready till Monday." I said that's funny. Pull out my phone. Show him ally calls. No Dallas, No voicemails from Platinum and Johnny. Show him my text thread with Johnny and there is nothing there. Bought a nice Jeep. Was told my second key would be mailed to me later that week. Two weeks later I reached someone who told me they were having trouble getting it from the previous owner, but their shop could make me one for $700+. This of course does not solve the problem of a stranger having a key to my vehicle. When I asked what they intended to do about that, crickets. At this point in time, I find that customer care is more like forget customers they are a nuisance. The telephone is an ancient devise that interrupts there texting. If you leave a message it probably will go on answered. I am sure this is a standard problem with all Platinum Jeep and other divisions because they all use the same AI phone system. How can a business that is based on sales and service run efficiently with and inefficient phone system. Answer is it can't. Number one priority should be communication with potential customers. First visit they said that they "found and fixed the problem" clearly they did not find and fix it because months later the truck was taken back in for the same problem. Second visit paid thousands of dollars for something that would have never got to the point of repair had the service department found the problem the first time. Best part was on the second visit I told them a list of things I needed completed but they couldn't get it all done because somehow the balance and rotation did not make it on the new ticket. Took the truck up to another place to have the balance and rotation completed only to find out that Platinum fused my lugs which now is going to cost me more money to fix another one of their mistakes. I will never go back because they clearly do not care that you use your vehicle for work and not to line their pockets. read more

I'm not happy with the check-in process. I pull up for an oil change. Someone came out and told me someone would be with me to remain in the car. Fifteen minutes later, another customer pulls up beside me. Five minutes later a service technician comes out and goes to the car that just pulled up. I say, "Excuse me. I was here first." The man does not acknowledge me. I say it several more times. I even asked the customer whom he is now assisting to tell him I was her first. The customer replies, "I did tell him that you were here first. An additional five minutes go by and the Service Tech says, "Have you been help?" I said, "No." I have been trying to tell you along with the customer I was next. He responds, "Let me get someone to help you." Five minutes later, now thirty minute wait, another Service Tech comes out. I explain to him what happened. He apologizes and share the challenges they had due to being short staffed. I wanted them to make it right by pulling my car in before the car that came behind me. Of course, that did not happen. The car that was checked in first moved onto the ramp before mine. Your process and system for checking in customers sucks. Try training your team to ask, "Who was first before going to the closest car to them or develop a process for checking in cars since you have someone to come out and ask customers to remain in the car. It is a simple step to take. In any event, I will continue to drive my car to the number one Dodge dealership in Dallas the next time I need service. This place needs leadership. read more

Was a cash buyer and was told that I could not put a deposit down on a vehicle that was coming in was told I'd be notified and I could purchase the vehicle at that time. Car will have been in dealer for repair well over 45 days for electrical issue. No loaner given by dealer. Jeep wave only offer $45 a day for 5 days. Very dissatisfied customer. This dealership was a joke. They were okay at first, then after the deal and survey they were horrible, the salesman said he was going to win a prize for a good survey. It took forever to get the deal that I was supposed to just go down there and sign papers for. We were leaving out of town and made us late because it was taking so long. They lost the extra key fob so they said to go back. Well we went back 3 times just for them to tell us the system was down after waiting 3 hours and the hassle of driving over an hour away with an appointment. Then the Service Manager told us for your time he would send someone to pick the car up and give us a loaner car and they would fill up the tank and detail it. Still haven't heard from anyone and this is 3 weeks later. I tried texting the salesman and nobody answers. I called and they told me the Service Manager was fired. Brought a ram in because the heater core was leaking coolant into my passenger compartment. After them having the vehicle for a couple of days. I got the truck back with a broken sun visor. Clicking steering wheel and my battery was completely discharged. It took some arguing to get them to replace the battery as well due to the dealership discharging the battery. read more

These dashes crack so I forgot to tell you. 1 hr later truck was ready. Dash us not cracked. It is destroyed. Took a week to get service manager on phone. Very rude and unprofessional Kyle Youngblood. The part is 300+ and they are not responsible for me buying an old truck. If you take pride in your vehicle. Don 't let these jokes near yours. As an out of town buyer I absolutely do not recommend this dealership. My direct salesman was a nice guy however several things were done extremely poorly from service to finance. Purchased an $87k BMW M8 from out of town a few weeks ago from Platinum. I arranged and paid for all shipping to Florida. Was told a metal emblem of Texas flag was removed from rear bumper of car prior to shipping and it wasn't. Was told the car would be delivered with a full tank of gas and it was delivered completely empty. It was so empty that it said it had 0 miles range but thank god I made it from delivery truck to gas station. On top of that when they overnighted docs to me I had to pay $60 to overnight them back, no return envelope included. I did not want to give this dealership a bad review because my salesman was a nice guy and the car itself was in amazing condition but today I find out they didn't even pay off my trade in. They paid it short. I buy about 2 cars a year and have never had a dealership screw up this bad. read more

No Obvious Reason to Send ReFund Check too Huntington National Bank On 03SEP24; [Except That Dealership General Manager out ant out lied about processing DATE, and tried to cover up dealership processing error!?!] Received Check from Huntington Nat'l Bank Dated 03SEP2024 held in escrow until funds verified and HNB check could be Mailed USPS received 23SEP2024!!! The only reason I'm giving a two is because they are a new dealership so it was nice and clean, also they had a good selection. Our salesman Jay was awful, he stayed on his cell phone 85% of the time on personal phone calls and this was both times we came up there. Also I am not sure how a dealership can value our car $6k less then the other two dealerships we went to but they did. It comes down to customer service and how you make a client feel when dealing with them and Jay didn't make us feel as if he even cared if we purchased a vehicle or not. Obviously it appears by the reviews the GSM or GM of the dealership would address these concerns personally and find out why the reviews are so negative. read more

Zero Stars BUYER BEWARE. I thought it odd they requested the down payment prior to signing of papers. Platinum Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Terrell are outright thieves. Put 2k down in a truck last Sat. Came in Monday (20th) close the deal. Long story short they bait and switched the deal. I walked. Requested my 2k returned. They ran the refund, it showed up on my bank app. An hour later it was gone the refund processing that is. Today the 2k cleared my bank. No return of cash. Went in person and they said it was my bank lol. There is No record of any return on my bank records. Finance manager asked me to leave, ( yes I wasn't happy at this point, flat out treated my like a liar and glared at me the entire time). Their records show a debit and a credit so not there problem on their end. Except they Literally stole 2k. Wasn't interested in seeing my bank record or My proof. I financed everything with bank & since they were not able to sell me on their GAP or warranty. Michael C the business manager. did not even speak to me when I walked in his office or go over the papers I was signing. Which the rep stated he would be in a bad mood since I did not finance with them and she was right. I had been in contact with them 3 wks before car hit the lot. Sales Rep Ashely B assured me that car would be ready at 12:30 got there around 1pm the car was not ready at all had not gone through all process. & car was ready close to 4pm. After I left dealer notice they did not fill up gas tank when they said they would, called and got that addressed. Printed paper along with check stating lien holder needed and confirm with rep via text a week after I bought car to confirm lien holder she assured me it did. Received title with no lien holder and I had to pay a fee which I tried contacting them for a month for reimbursement with no answer. Also the license plate was "erroneously" mailed the wrong address nowhere near numbers of my address. The rep also stated she would not send me the link to give them a bad review since it affects their bonus/pay. It has been ongoing issues Experience was bad from start to end. read more

I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee this week. Great experience through the salesperson Evelyn. Knowledgeable and not pushy. The finance guy, Lyle Smith, is a crooked unethical finance manager. He lied to my face and told me I could receive a better interest rate only if I bought the extended warranty. That is ILLEGAL and UNETHICAL. You can not by law give someone a better interest rate only if they buy products. He told me it was a COUPON I would receive from warranty company to apply towards finance company. Waiting to hear from GM. I have grounds to report them to the BBB and legally sue the dealership. I have to say, I just had a disappointing experience. I went to look at a used vehicle that I saw on their website. We all know that these prices are typically non-negotiable. What I didn't know, is that the Advertised prices isn't the actual price. When they brought their offer sheet out, they had added another $1400-1500 in options. There a Platinum line and a Titanium line. The Platinum line was for a security system and monitoring service for $600. When I said that I don't want or need that, I was told that it would cost ME $309 to have it removed. When I said that I had a major problem with that and it would kill the deal, THEY LET ME WALK OUT THE DOOR OVER $300. So it's off to another dealership read more

Went for a oil change and tire rotation. Asked to have some things checked out on previous work on my vehicle. Told me they can do the oil change and tire rotation only and that I'd have to make a separate appointment to have other issues checked out. This was on a Tuesday and not the weekend. I marked the drivers side tires to make sure they rotated them and guess what, they didn't. Every time I come here I feel that they can't take care of anything.
