Food was great and great drinks. Had a problem with the trivia being played in the bar. I was out with some friends from my birthday and while sitting in the dining room we could hear the trivia being played in the bar. The theme for trivia was the September 11th attacks. The woman with the microphone was asking various questions about details that happened that day. In no way was this honoring the men and women that died on that day. I felt super uncomfortable and truly upset that this would be considered a trivia topic which in my mind should be fun and upbeat. read more

Three of us went to this newly-(re)opened brew pub on a recent Wednesday night. Let's say the most redeeming quality of our experience was the trivia game going on, in which we took part. First, service was sloooow. The bartender actually waited on us, even though we were at a table, and he wasn't all that friendly. I've never been to a brew pub that didn't offer free samples of a beer or two that you're considering - you'd think we'd asked for free dinners. We were then informed that they were out of 3 of their 13 beers. Really? On a Wednesday night? We ordered standard bar food and while we all said it was OK, it was nothing to write home about and there certainly weren't leftovers to take home, either, as the portions were somewhat small. Oh, and when the waiter/bartender told us about the substitutes they offered for regular fries, he failed to mention the extra $1.50 for doing so. So we reduced his tip by that amount. Overall, when friends ask if I'd go back, I say yes, if they insisted. But there are better brew-pubs around and certainly better bar/restaurants. read more

If you are coming in for craft brew only this is 5 star. If you plan to eat a 1 to 2. Giving 2 as taste was great. I didn't give a review on my first two visits as I was hoping they were just mishaps. However after this third visit I know it's not. We ordered two entree's with appetizers and everything came out together COLD. I asked the table next to us how their food was and lady shrugged. I the asked if her food was hot, warm or cold. She said cold. I explained ours was too. We both agreed it's easier to just eat it sometimes. Spoke with another couple tonight same statement. While I highly recommend stopping in for a drink I would suggest not ordering food. We can't figure out if the coldness was result of bartender not getting food when it was ready or if fault fell on kitchen for notifications. Either way, three times with me you are out, two additional times with others sitting around me just seals the deal. Yo bad as food did have good flavor. Btw, we ordered pepperoni flatbread, dry rub garlic wings and a meatball sub with fries. I would like to say you can't screw them up however I was proven wrong. The teenage boy in my family set a record eating his brew house BBQ burger! Shoestring fries went limp as soon as they cooled.

We have been a number of times to PPB. First time was fantastic. Second time we went I received a salad with rotten cucumbers, but was happy when the waiter brought it back and replaced it with a fresh salad. Third time, I found food in my soda even the second glass. The sage butter for the pasta was just butter. We were charged for food we did not order. I was very embarrassed to complain so much in front of our friends that we brought to this "great" restaurant. Every time we go none of the water glasses were clean as if they were rolled on the floor and even found someone else's lipstick still on the rim! read more

LOVE the food here! The staff is also awesome everyone is so nice and they really make you feel welcomed! I would tell anyone I know to go there for food and drinks :) the turkey melt is my personal favorite or the 2am burger!! read more

Great food, drink and friendly ambiance. Close to the airport, too, making it a wonderful place to while away some time before a flight out of the airport. Odd to find a full-fledged craft brewery on the second floor of a motel, what with all the equipment that entails. But it all works just fine. read more

Why no waiter service? I've heard that the food is good. Is it take out only? I don't understand. How does the food get served?

I thought of giving this local place a try instead of major chain restaurants in the area (Perkins, Chipotle, Buffalo Wild Wings etc) and boy was I wrong. Burgers are overpriced and the server didn't mention some varieties of the included French fries had an additional cost. I ended up getting cajun fries and they were soggy. At least the garden burger was toothsome. read more

Beer on tap extremely warm. A man that worked there told the couple next to us beer temp should be around 32, but is currently at 67 degrees. Then stop selling beer until fixed!!! The Swiss Burger & French Dip were just plum awful. I rarely post a review... But visiting this area for the night I would like others like myself who are excited to see there is a local microbrewery that we did not have the best food or beer experience . To sum up our experience... we were drinking coke and bottled miller-lite by the end of our meal. read more

My Husband wanted to celebrate his birthday by going to the PB Brew Co. The first thing we noticed that there was no one to seat us, so we seated ourselves and waited. I noticed that my water glass was dirty, and when a waitress did come to our table, I asked for a clean one which she brought right away .I must say in all honesty that our appetizer and his beer were good. When we went to order, we were informed that they were out of several things on their sides list. The fish I ordered one peice was broken off..the fries were cold.They did replace the fries with a huge bowl of fries, that sadly went uneaten. The rice as a side had no taste what so ever, and the broccoli was tasteless as well. The cheesey polenta has no cheese in it at all, at least to our taste, and the rice on his plate was as tasteless as mine. I was surprised that mentioning to the waitress a couple of times in passing that it was my Husbands birthday, that nothing was brought to him to pass the occasion as in many places we have dined in the years past. A cookie :a cupcake...something....but nothing. We made a huge mistake in sitting in the first booth by the "hostess station area", as when they were there, they constantly hit the back of it, which was attached to the back of my seat: making it extremely uncomfortable. Neither of us finished our meals and sent back quite a bit of food on the plates and paid $40.00 for a meal that was less than enjoyable. We will not return. read more

Booked a birthday dinner for my husband for last night. Was a little nervous going into it bc there were 14 of us during peak dinner time on a saturday night, and instead was rather blown away by how wonderful the experience was....the server was attentive and gracious and my husband was treated to a free beer and chocolate dessert, on the house! The beer and food were great, highly recommend going here for special events! I know it will be tops on my list for next time.... read more

While the staff was extremely quick and friendly, I couldn't help but feel like I was on an episode of Bar Rescue. I should have turned around at the front door (which was dirty wooden baseball bats while the glass was covered in fingerprints / a peeling logo and had a broken pane) but it was late and I was tired from a long day on the road. The floor was very sticky, like shoes sticking to the floor sticky and the men's bathroom didn't have soap. I ventured downstairs to the Best Western hotel to use their lobby washroom and that place wasn't much better. Based on the upkeep of their lobby and washrooms, I'd be willing to guess they are owned or managed by the same person. Food 6/10 (Rigatoni and Meatballs). Beer 8/10 (Zephyr's Ale). Atmosphere 4/10 (the lights were way too bright for 9pm, the big screen TV is horribly outdated and there was no music - just the din of CNN). Cleanliness 2/10; considering the bathroom(s), floors, front entrance, carpets and the hotel to which they are attached. read more

I keep returning to this place in hopes that management has done something to correct the terrible service, but I've yet to have a good experience here. This place could do much better - the food is good and the atmosphere is great. Prices are a bit unreasonable for the area but considering it's attached to the hotel, they can get away with it. I've worked in the food industry for a number of years and there is no reason for such poor quality service. Each time I have been, it's not busy; on one occasion we weren't seated for about 10 minutes when there was one other table in the dining room. Another time we got our appetizer after our meal (again in a virtually empty restaurant) only after being asked "oh, did you still want that?" On our last visit, the bartender basically grunted at us as she took our drink order. We informed her we had 2 more joining our party, so she brought 4 menus, but never returned.
