bought a play and spin voucher for the location on 7631 North Caldwell. I went there within minutes of buying it. i presented the voucher and was told they do not honor them. They also said that when they had to shut down for the pandemic they asked groupon to stop selling these vouchers. Contacted Groupon on Saturday March 6th. Their response was that they contacted the management and they are honoring the groupons. That is not the case. groupon refuses to refund my purchase. Play and spin refused to honor it. They also have Laser tag, VR, go karts and a simple nail salon. Laser tag was fun for kids and adults. For the adults, they have gambling type games, ping pong and a bar with plenty of seating. They have plenty of tvs all around that you can watch from one of the few couches with outlets. They have a large area with several rooms to host bday parties. Clean and never crowded the multiple times we've gone during the week. We save our tickets won to save up for the larger ticket prizes. Always a blast for each of us. read more

This spot was an eco-family fun place where you can go to have tons of fun. Way more activities than other Arcades. There are multiple options you can go to, and it's super fun. Went in today for a kids birthday party and it was like a bigger kids Chucky cheese. I don't allow my daughter to play video and shooting games, that's all it really consisted of and a few classic arcade games. It's definitely not for 5/6 year olds in my opinion. We did ride the go carts after waiting 30 minutes... one of the karts caught on fire by the way... and they go really slow, like turtle slow. The food was decent, nothing special. The pizza was doughy but kids enjoyed it. Highlight of my daughter trip here was that she won 1125 worth of tickets so she got a lot at the prize counter and left happy. I don't recommend for kids under 8 as it's mostly video games and the very slow moving go carts. read more

HORRIBLE customer service!!! If I could leave no stars I would, one is one too many! Took my 3 year old son there today on a whim around 1 in the afternoon. Walked in the front door to not only be completely ignored by staff, but had a staff member look at us like a deer in headlights then turn and go back to what she was doing. There were no staff members at either of the two desks in the front entrance! Considering that this is a newly opened place I would think they would have at least one person at the door to greet guests and make sure they are aware of how the place is run and what options there are for them to utilize while spending their money there. After a less than appealing first impression walking in the front door we decided to only put $10 on a card to try the place out. To our dismay our experience then went from bad to worse. A majority of the games my son wanted to play were displaying an out of order error message flashing on the card swipe screens. I'd say at least a good 85 percent, if not more, of the games were out of order. We then went to look at the go-karts, only to be told the machine running those was out of order as well. The attendant informed us that there was a wifi issue that had knocked out a majority of their game systems connectivity. We then made our way back to the VR station, which was the main thing I was interested in. We waited for an attendant, but eventually had to go track someone down as there were no employees anywhere in the immediate area. My boyfriend played the VR game whilst 3 employees watched. (where they all were the rest of the time we had been there I'm not sure) So we finish that and go try to find a few more games that were actually working for my son to play. While doing this, a family started riding on the go-karts. We walked over to see if we could as well only to be told the systems were still down. (RIDICULOUS!) At that point we had had enough and decided to leave, but not before asking for a manager. The employee I requested one through laughed as she spoke to me as if it were funny and a minute later a manager came up to the front. I explained to him what my issues were only to be met with an attitude and line after line of excuses about a circuit blowing. I told him I understood that but would think if they had a major issue like that they would make it a priority to have someone at the front door making customers aware that most of their games were out of order at the moment so they could save their time and money if they didn't want to wait for the repairs to bring everything back to working order. He then told me about their staff issues and being shorthanded and, again, fed me a million and one excuses. Bottom line is their customer service is crap! Management offered me a free ride after me saying I thought it was insulting that I was turned away from the go-karts with my 3 year old son and boyfriend to, only minutes later, see a group of adults going around the tracks. This not only pissed me off but had my son leaving there disappointed and crying. I will NEVER go back and will definitely be warning all my family and friends. I would be highly surprised if this place is open in 6 months unless their employees attitudes and priorities in the workplace change. read more

We have been here a few times. I would love to support a local establishment but won't be going back after the way the manager/ owner treated us yesterday. We brought my 3 kids and 4 friends there yesterday. We ate lunch, played games, and played laser tag. After 40 minutes of waiting for go carts, it was time for our group to go on. When the guy scanned our card it didn't work. We were told to get out of line and go to the front. We tried to show our receipt but he called for the manager. The manager refused to talk to us and told us to get out of line and go to the desk. After waving the manger over for a few minutes he came over and told us to get out of line and go to the front desk. I requested the boys go on the go carts since we had our receipt showing we paid, while I do that. He refused my request. When we went to the front I told them to just give us our money back and that we were done with this place. They checked the card and we had 10 rides on it like we told them. As I was leaving, I told the owner that I really disagreed with the way the situation was handled. Instead of apologizing, he says that his staff did everything they were supposed to and I even offered to bring you back to the front of the line but you wanted a refund. I did all I could. I can't tell someone how to run their business but I feel he could have done more. At this point he should have said sorry about the inconvenience, they can ride on the house but that definitely was not a thought to him. This place has a great concept, but is definitely over priced and under staffed. Unfortunately it won't survive if the owner continues to treat customers this way. I hope he will read this review and consider treating customers better in the future because you just lost this one. read more

A friend's suggestion after seeing a groupon, brought a few families to play and spin last night. We did a game of laser tag which was fun. You have to sign up for a laser tag slot when you get there but it was pretty disorganized. At 4:30 on a Saturday, I was told that my family of 4 could come back in 2 hours for a game. I bet they have a lot of "no shows" on these reservations so I think it is pretty inefficient and the woman (kid) in charge didn't encourage you to wait. Also the go carts were fun but inefficiently run. They have 2 lanes and should load people up in cars in the spare lane while you are waiting. It is fun to wait in the car. No one would mind and you wouldn't have the extra wait time while people try to figure out seatbelts and ask for booster pillows. Again they are leaving some money on the table here because they take a long time to load. Pizza was pretty good and they sell beer and wine. Video games were fun but we blew through the game credit on cards quickly. Kids were happy with their prizes from the tickets so that was fun! Note that the games actually credit tickets to your card and they don't spit out tickets. No one explained this to us and there were no signs so I walked back to the front desk to ask after wondering if I had 2 defective games in a row. The man in the front laughed at my question instead of making a note to his staff that they should include a little intro when a first timer gets their card. Maybe I should quit my day job because I like the bones of this place but they can make it better with a few tweaks! read more

This place isn't anything THAT special, but it is a little bit genius - it has something for everyone - the games, the go-karts, the bar, the NAIL salon. So you can get a mani-pedi while your kid runs around like a crazy person trying to beat his high score on the pop-a-shot. Went for a company outing and they gifted us $30 to play with. Was plenty for an hour ish of fun (and a manicure). Yes, the manicure chipped after 1 day, but it was $15..so not sure you can really expect much more than that. AVOID THIS PLACE! SAVE YOUR MONEY! There is no option to give one star, otherwise that is what this place would have gotten. I attempted to reserve a party for my daughter's birthday. We thought it was cool that they had a manicure party option, which my daughter was really excited about. We spoke with Joseph, who told us we could have either a 2pm or 5pm time slot. However, when he spoke with the Nail Tech they weren't sure they could accommodate my group. How can you advertise party packages that can't accomodate 8 people? 8 PEOPLE! Anyways, I was told I would receive a call to confirm the next day at 11. After not receiving a phone call, I called in, only to find that there is no voice mail message set up (red flag #2) and the voicemail box was full (red flag #3.) So I called an hour after being told Joseph would call me. Joseph explained that the person he needed to speak with would be in in 15 minutes and he would call me right back. 3 hours later, after not receiving a call, I called again, and after being on hold for 15 minutes and being bounced to at least 3 different people, a woman (not Joseph) picked up. She then explained that she had just spoken with Joseph and that they are completely booked for the weekend, INCLUDING the time slot that we already reserved. With so many good options for kids nearby, I will never return to this place. I was warned against throwing a party here, and now I see why. read more

Great place my family love it, my 3 year old have the time of his life. The food is great i order chicken wings and they were delicious sooo crispy ( small order have 8 wings with ranch and salary), my husband order hamburger with fries he love it!! and for my kid we order mozzarella sticks, we were soo full, is good for the price. The place is really clean so much places to sit and relax I really recommend it we will definitely come back and bring friends and family!!! This place is just okay. Seems like the money went into the Go Karts and obscenely large skill games. The arcade clearly veers towards young kids: lots of apps-turned-arcade games, claw machines, racing games, etc. Table tennis room is huge. Concession stand is standard. The bar was still being stocked for the first hour or two we were there; it's a bit unclear if it was actually open. Overall, a massive space, though not as efficiently used as it could be. This is a great place for big and little kids. We have a 5 and 11 y/o and there's enough for both of them to be entertained. Impressed with the quality and quantity of the food- It didn't taste frozen- the burgers were made fresh and the chicken tenders look homemade- not processed. The games are great. There's ample seating that's comfortable in every area. Looks like a great place for parties too. My only wish- a bouncy house or two for little kids. Visited family for the holidays and was looking for a fun indoor activity for the kids. Went here with a Groupon AND purchased their unlimited 2hr arcade deal. There's not many games that are "unlimited" play (blue light) - maybe a handful. Each $1 is equivalent to about 4 credits (so our $80 Groupon voucher was worth 320 credits). The minimum number of credits for most games is 3. Most of the games my kids wanted to play was 4-6. They also have a virtual reality game but it's worth like 20+ credits. I don't think there's a huge selection of games compared to other places we've been to. We had fun but probably won't go back next time, unless it's to play laser tag and/or go carts. read more

Had my daughter's birthday party here and almost everything went well. Kids had a good time, laser tag was fun and all seemed to be in order. Except... one of our gifts was stolen. So I would advise if you have a party, put all the gifts in your car right away or have someone there to guard everything at all times. I tried to call and get someone to respond to my issue. Called about four or five times, wrote a couple of emails. No response from anyone who could adequately address the issue. Obviously, I don't expect them to pay me for the gift. Some acknowledgement would be nice. If they knew that theft was an issue, a warning would have been helpful. I would give 0 stars if possible. I played "quick drop" several times and won a jackpot of 1000 tickets at one if those attempts. Price claim tood me i only have 100 tickets. Went to the register and the assistant manager said you havent won any tickets in quick drop, when the minimum guaranteed ticket per round is 10 then they proceed to make me look like a liar saying the machine is capped at 600 tickets. Alright, here we go. So I visited this establishment for the first time yesterday on 12/29/18. They had plenty of Groupon offerings and it is close to my house so I felt that it was a good opportunity to check it out. I got a Two pizza deal with $30 game card, as well as a $50 game card. I wanted the full on experience, so far I had spent $80 total just online. Once I arrived, the young man at the front helped me redeem my groupons and sent me on my way with my game cards and pizza coupon. The establishment was nice and large. It was a Saturday evening and I was surprised it wasn't crazy packed. There was enough room to breathe and walk around, finding seats was easy. We went to the restaurant area and began to order my pizzas. Along with the groupon, the pizzas came with one topping each. I've worked in the pizza business as a cashier for 6 years, and knew adding a few toppings on at their normal price was no big deal. However, the late-40 something dark haired manager told me that I was not able to add any more toppings because "it was a groupon." I told her, "I understand that, you can charge me separately for the extra toppings. I have no problem paying, I just want a lot of vegetables on my pizza." In a tone she told me, "We can't do that." I had a hard time accepting that answer, if it was "against their policy," so be it. But I would have liked a more thoughtful response, especially as a paying customer in a brand new establishment. I couldn't get her name because no one wears name tags! Two pizzas came out to $55!!!! CAN YOU IMAGINE? I'm paying for Chuck E. Cheese grade pizza at $25 a piece?! Thank god I had the groupon, what a rip off! The pizza was mediocre at best. My pepperoni pizza was beautifully adorned with pepperonis, however my mushroom pizza appeared to have only two whole mushrooms on it. SO DISAPPOINTING. Considering that was the one I wanted more vegetables on! Refer to the photos. Any way, I went on to play some games. They had some very impressive looking games. I only had to wait for a handful of them. But at full capacity that play may be what the 5th layer of Hell looks like. I was disappointed to find that many of the games were out of order. There was one game in particular that kept breaking on me. I did like the fact that their ticket system was all on the card, however I felt cheated in ways because I never really knew how much I had. My kids had a blast on their go kart and laser tag activities. But they don't allow you to run in laser tag? I understand that they want to prevent injuries but I had never seen that before and was just thrown off. Walking laser tag seems lame. I felt that the Go Kart area was pretty small. For a place that uses that as their main stem of advertisement I felt like it should have been bigger. You sign a waiver before getting on the attraction which is a good idea because I witnessed a small boy smack his face into the steering wheel! Not the business's fault, but don't let young kids ride alone. They had a nail salon and adult slot machines. The nail salon was closed. I think the pieces were pretty high for a place where you literally cannot relax due to the high stimulation happening around you. I visited the sports bar area. The prices were fine. Be careful because you really can go and spend your money at this place. They had a smaller than regulation size pool table. My husband and I wanted to play one game. The bartender so anxiously ran up to us and said it was $10/hr to play. Jeez they don't give you anything free! I don't know if you've ever played billiards, but I'm from Chicago where you pay by the game. And it's either free or $1. $10 for an hour??? Games do not work that way lady! Anyway, we got away with $5 for 30 mins. It was fine. Overall, my family had a good time but was dissatisfied with the customer service. I hated how they charged you for every little thing. You gotta give something up for free to keep people interested! I hope you take my review seriously to use some of that money to train your employees a bit better. If I go back I'll post an update! My boyfriend and I went here with a Groupon, and had a decent enough time. We knew going in that it's definitely targeted more towards kids, but we were ok with it. It took us 20 minutes to get a beer from the bar though, after at least 6 employees (including a manager) walked passed and saw us waiting. A lot of the games were out of order, which was disappointing. I was pretty pleased with the prizes we were able to cash in on though! Overall, I'd probably go again with another discount/promotion, but it wouldn't be top of mind for going to have fun (as adults). read more

I took my children and friends to this Play and Spin. They were having fun with all the games. But , the Go Carts were unsafe. Also the food wasn't what you would expect. When we asked for water cups we only got two. Keep in mind we had four children there. They did have a vr gaming station. The kids had fun, but the gear was uncomfortable, and scratchy. Overpriced and half the games don't work. Brought this to the attention of the staff and they said because we won 5 tickets they wouldn't refund the game. The game was broken. Play and Spin practices negligence in terms of the safety of children. My son was seriously injured on the go karts. Kids were ramming and to him very aggressively. He suffered a concussion. We had to pay for all of our medical expenses ourselves. Play and Spin said that they will not be liable because you sign your life away when you enter. They told me that they have no control over the actions of other children. Not only will they not pay the medical bills come up but they will not even reimburse the day passes I purchased. The manager told me that the owner John, is very cheap and doesn't like to give any discounts, and the bottom line is it's a family owned business and they like to make as much money as they possibly can and they're very greedy. I have heard countless complaints from so many parents. If you care about the safety of your children he will never go there. Is a very dangerous place. read more

If there one thing I can say this place is so clean! Every part of it was clean and hourly the employees are cleaning the game machines which is amazing! But it is small let them I actually thought, not that many games. Go karts are a bit slower then I expected. Food is good but really really over prices.
