Honestly, it's a 5-star dive bar. You can't come here looking for some high class ambiance. You're not getting special cutlery or some crazy top shelf wine. What you are going to get is some pretty tasty simple food, decently good drafts and mix drinks coupled with a whole ton of retro vibes. Our server was quick, friendly, and helpful. The menu is plastic and a few pages of deliciousness. We had smoky pepper wings and a spicy pizza. No complaints for both. Crispy thin crust and crunchy nicely flavored wings. The games though are not the typical ones you'd find at a Dave & Busters. Instead, you'll find Mario, skeeball, teenage mutant ninja turtles, mortal combat, and all the other nostalgia fun you loved as a 70's/80's kid. Each inch of every wall is decorated with some sort of movie or tv reference, and it's just fun. So if you're bored of the typical bar scene, give this place a try. Get your cup of coins ready, and challenge some friends to some good competition.

Place was super fun and vibey af. Drinks tasted like blackout juice with a hint of hangover. A was my bartender the whole time and he was a chiller ("A" was his name). When we went there were a whole bunch of diva queens flaunting around but that just added to the cool vibey ambiance. I would go back here to spend all my money on the arcade. My only problem with Play Arcade is that I suck at dance dance revolution.

Play arcade is super cool. They had a variety of video games and other arcade games which made a super fun atmosphere. While we were there, we stopped by the bar to order some food. The staff was super friendly! I am lactose intolerant so i was very excited to see a lot of vegan options. We ordered: - Little Mario w/ Vegan Cheese Pizza: Red Sauce and Cheese blend dusted with fresh basil -Players Choice Pizza: Red Sauce, Mushrooms, Pepperoni with vegan cheese -Violet's Mac Attack: Vegan Friendly mac and cheese OMG the pizzas were amazing! The vegan cheese on the pizza was the best I've ever had. The cheese was melted nicely and didnt have the usual vegan cheese after taste. This cheese made me actually believe that it was normal cheese haha. I liked that they had the players choice option and i could build my own pizza since i do like eating meat, i just cant handle normal cheese. The thin crust was perfectly crispy and held the toppings well without flopping. The Violet's Mac Attack was good. Since we ordered the vegan version, I think the sauce was more like a sweet potato or butternut squash blend for the creamy parts and topped with vegan cheese. It was good but I think i prefer a cheesier flavored mac and cheese (unfortunately these hurt my tummy). Overall i was still happy with the dish. If you're in the area, definitely stop by and check out the games. if you are lactose intolerant or vegan, you'll have a lot of great options to choose from off the food menu!

best barcade EVER, seriously! the vibes here are absolutely immaculate + the games are so fun, there is a good mix of retro and modern games. the drinks here are great and fun too, my fav is the ghost energy mixed with vodka/tequila (whatever you're feeling!). i've never seen them anywhere else but they are so so good! i recently tried the food and i really enjoyed it too, the loaded tetris tots are to die for! i also love that they're allergy friendly with actually yummy options - the gluten free pizza was GREAT! no cardboard crust and really good flavor. 1000% recommend this place - whether you come for a night out, to play some games, or for wednesday night trivia (our fav!) you're guaranteed to have a great time :)

Alright let's start with the food! The pizza is well worth the price. At about $14 it feeds 3 of us. It's super tasty, thinner crust but not burnt, and they are very generous with toppings. They had a steak and asparagus special that was to die for! I've also tried their chicken bacon ranch, with extra veggies (free), it was also AMAZING! The loaded Tetris tots were also very yummy, and well portioned. Sliders were a little too well done. So far most things we've ordered have fed at least 2 people, the price was pretty fair for the potions. The only sweet food item is the rice krispy basket, these were also good! The chocolate ones were a little on the stale side but taste wise - absolutely worth it! Drinks: I'll personally only be sticking to beer. I've tried multiple drinks and was now impressed by the quality. But they have a decent tap variety for brews. Atmosphere: The rooftop area is perfect for a nice night or sunny day. They have 4 swings that face street side, these were a super cool touch. The arcade hosts live music events are up there every few days. Arcade: You get a fair amount of coins for $10. The cool thing is if you don't cash, you can add coins to your tab. The games are fun, but there isn't too much of a variety. Guitar hero, DDR and the terminator are some fun classics. Air hockey and basketball are also pretty cool. I don't much care for the pinball machines or the super old stuff. They also have board and card games for free, we usually play uno while we wait for our food.

As a go to, you can't go wrong with the Reuben. I had to look under the buttery marble rye to convince myself that there wasn't bacon on it, but dang it's the so smoky and crisp pastrami that will fool you too. Honestly, tonight I ventured off the Reuben for the first time, BUT word was, from the local next to me munching on the Cubano that he calls da' bomb, he told me the cheesesteak is right in line with the rest of the offerings. Verdict: I don't know if the chef is a beer drinker but he plates a beer drinkers meal. First bite of the cheesesteak was a little bready, and I started thinking I should have stuck with the staples. Second bite changed everything. I'm not going into the gooey, orgasmic details, it was just phenomenal. The star of the show was the bread. The same bread that caused me hesitation on the first bite. Incredible. I'm coming back for every sandwich on the menu, and you should too!

The whole place has that genuine hometown vibe that's getting harder to find, plus consistently great live music (Sundays especially). It's on the smaller side, but they somehow pack the place without sacrificing service, which says a lot. When the weather warms up, they open up a large alley next to the pub for live music--and that's where this place really shines. On a crisp fall day? Forget about it... that's exactly where I want to be. Good food, good people, good music--what more do you need? Enjoy the good times ahead.

It also came piping hot...just the way I like it! The Cole slaw tasted home made. It wasn't heavy at all! We also got a quahog. It was pretty yummy. The quahog meat was just a bit chewy. I wish there were quarter stars because I would have given this a 4 and 3/4 rating had it not been for the bones I bit into in one of my pieces of fish. The restaurant itself is on a little island and has waterfront seating even though it was too cold for us to sit outside. Our waitress was kind but not overly attentive. However, it didn't hinder our overall experience. We made a reservation and were sat immediately. The menu was large with many different options for cocktails, appetizers, pizza, sandwiches, and a variety of main courses. Most dishes are going to run you between $25-40. Everyone had the scallops tonight- I did the scallop and clams plate and my companions did some of the other scallop options. I was very happy with the scallops themselves- they were sweet and fried well. I wish there were more on the plate as I only had about 5-6 smaller scallops. The fries were great and nicely crispy. My only real complaint is the clams- they were not as crispy and a little on the blander side. For $33 I think the portion sizes could have been bigger as well. My friends all liked their dishes and I would definitely come back at another time to try some of their other dishes.
