It just didn't have the grill flavor I enjoy in a slider. Salad large and shareable. Side of fries. Steak and cheese egg rolls 5/5 comes with 6 pieces. I've been coming here for years and was really disappointed with our last order. I know inflation is everywhere, but paying $17 for these sad burgers and an up charge of $2 for these fries left me underwhelmed to say the least. Unfortunately - I went here with my wife and mother in law. I have been vegan 7+ years now, but wife and mother in law are not. On their menu, it says they offer multiple vegan options. However... there are multiple items that have vegan ingredients such as vegan mayo in the cauliflower tacos, but don't have the "v" next to it. When I asked if the entree was vegan, waitress didn't know and said that was a good question. So she went and asked the kitchen. Kitchen told her that "we cannot guarantee it is vegan." To which I replied hm, that's strange what does that mean... to which she replied "well they don't know if there's egg in the wraps." To which I thought.. wow they cant read the ingredient list..? Anyways, I ordered falafel. And oh my. The inside was 100% raw. The outside was fried and crispy but it was legit raw and wet inside... never ever seen falafel like that.. Then my wife had salmon. It was.. literally ice cold and very little flavor. Mom in law got a poke bowl with salmon (their special for the day) which was also.. ice cold. the bill was over $100... Just very bad food. Sad. Would've been 5 stars if not for the way they gobbed that yucky sweet barbeque sauce on my BBQ pulled pork nachos. I probably should've asked if that's how they were served. Our first night here 8-10-19 my wife's birthday. She really loves the place- nice ambiance on the outside deck and great old school tunes playing in the background. She got the local beef sliders with quinoa/ seasoned fries and I got the chicken Mozambique. She loved her dish - I thought mine was tasty but a bit on the spicy side for me. We will be back during our one week stay for sure. Only minus a star for a lack of menus; the only menu is on a chalkboard on the inside which makes you go snap a pic of it if you are sitting outside. read more

Wandered in here while staying in Westport. First impressions were just OK but then we got to the bar and the bartender was super personal and helpful and very conscious of us enjoying our drinks and that they were prepared exactly how he wanted them! Loved her. Next we moved to the dining room and we ordered many appetizers and they were all delicious. Friends liked the steak and cheese taquitos most and others liked the mini cheeseburgers the most. Everything we ordered was delicious and on the way out the bartender made sure she said Goodbye to us! We would definitely love to go back and have a meal! read more

This place is fantastic! (My husband didn't want me to write a review because he wants it to stay just how it is and not become overrun with the zillions of customers that it deserves). One of the best mojitos I've ever had. Really delicious fresh food - and generous portions. Had the haddock tacos and tuna poke bowl and a very hearty kale salad. - Waitress's lack of attentiveness: there were only two or three tables being waited on and we barely saw her; extended wait times while she stayed inside the restaurant; another waitress came to take our meal order and we only saw her once more; - No offering of water or bread for the table; - Limited menu of offerings and strange spice additions to otherwise staple food items; - Skimpy portions and high prices=stinginess; - "Sides" are the size of a thimble Dixie cup; clearly the motivation is to make money at the customer's expense; - Hair was found on the cheese of my slider; waitress said she "wished she had known about it;" she would have, had she bothered to ask how our meals were; - Half of the sliders were refunded=stingy; - Piped-in 80s music overpowered the outdoors and made it difficult to hear one another; - I cannot recommend this restaurant to my friends and will not return again. read more

My partner and I came on whim. Saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. I must say they lived up to expectations and beyond. For a Thursday night it was a full house but we were seated right away. The bartender was super friendly, worked fast and was entertaining. The people at the bar next to us were just as friendly. From time to time my friend ( who owns at restaurant) try something new. This time we sought out " The Westporter" in Westport Ma 02790. It's small very attractive, menu is on a chalk board which is a bit difficult to read from the lighting but so what. There are no prices on the board. And it is full of selections. The decor is very nice has a full bar as well. First come first served. So ordered a couple martinis, a ploughboard, cheeses fries, and beef sliders, a couple more martinis, then for dessert two cookies and a Hennessy. The bill came to $135 plus two taxes. Never have I seen two taxes at any other restaurant. One was for a " liquor tax" the other the normal Mass food tax. Now I'm used to the 6.35% Mass Tax which I think on $135 be $8.43 but the total on the two taxes was $10.18. We questioned the taxes which the server couldn't explain to satisfaction. I suspect that allegedly customers at this restaurant are being over charged on taxes as well as food. read more

We are in the Westporter A LOT. Probably weekly. Which tells you how much we love it. It's got a great, homey vibe to it. (Which could be because it's in a house, ha!) The menu is on a chalkboard over the fireplace and is ever changing. There are some staples that are almost always there like sliders, ahi wontons, fish tacos, a cheese and veggie plate, etc. But the soups change a lot, and they have some really interesting specials. I have yet to have a bad meal here. I'm almost always here with my young daughter and while the menu isn't super kid friendly, we always find something for her to eat. She requests to come here more than any other local restaurant. You can tell this is a locals hang out. It's almost to the point where when you walk in the jukebox squeals to a halt and everyone turns around to look at you. Kidding! There's no jukebox. ;) The only thing I don't love about coming here is how small it is. There's been a handful of times where we've arrived and there is zero seating, so we've had to go elsewhere. It also means it can get incredibly loud in there when it's busy. In the warmer months, there's also patio seating to be had so that helps a lot. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and it's a great stop on the way home from the beach in the summer. read more

Great local place that has been discovered. Can get really crowded. Think of the menu as a caterers finger-food renamed tapas with one or two mains. All good stuff. Portobello sliders were great (though could have used half the dressing.) and I wish the taco's had something other than fried fillings.
