I came to get some…read moremore, "Moebas" I had a very good experience with the previously purchased ones that resulted in one lost, but some decent 2 and almost 4lb Largemouth! I arrived today and saw some on the bottom of the glass display back in fishing. There was another brand on top of the Moebas so I couldn't see if there were any others besides the, "Mimizu" option. There was one gentleman helping two men with some reels and braided line. After a few minutes he went over and told another staff member that he had another customer that needed help. The other staff member was leaning surf rods up against a shelf to the right of where I was standing. He is a white guy, buzz cut with some thinning on top, he had, "a chew" in which he spit into a soda bottle, green shirt and a mustache. He came up front and I spoke. I asked him if there were any other color Moeba down below. He replied, "This is all we have!" before I was even finished speaking. I was going to say that I couldn't see completely what was on the bottom of the display because there was another brand of similar lures on top. I told him that, and he looked down to see. He was not friendly or pleasant at all like Gary and Justin have been in the last two recent trips. Very short and he seemed annoyed. I asked for two of the Mimizus, and told him I was going to continue shopping. I dealt with similar reactions at the old location, which I why I stopped coming to Green Top for several years. I too know what it's like to be busy at work, but if I was short and rude to my patients before their procedures, I would definitely be in trouble. While their employee was looking for my son's size, turned out the 2 styles he was interested in, didn't have them in 12 for either. When I told my son to take a picture of the info and shoe so he could look later at the online site, your employee laughed and told us... "Not for another 8yrs." And then proceeded to go on a long rant that thanks to the president, everything's messed up and now with this war. Going on and on. I do not come to a store to be lectured about how much an employee hates the president or what he feels the state our country is in and how nothing's going to be right again till the Republicans are gone. I took as much as I could till I finally mentioned, "This is what I voted for". At which he got pissed & huffed away. But not before he said.... Well I better not get reenlisted in this war, or I might take him out myself". This, because in his rant was talking about the president starting the war. Then he walked away, cussing the entire time. Including catching the word `b!+@%`. Though I do not know if that e for me or 'son of' was added first. I did not catch his name, but he was an older man with dark skin and white hair, with not an actual beard, just white stubble, and about to 6'. This was at 10:20am at the 11550 Lakeridge PARKWAY, Ashland store. So many things were wrong with him and this visit. From his ranting about his political views, the 'war' he feels we're in, that the company won't even be getting in any new shoes due to "Everything being closed down", to saying he would murder the president of the United States, to them cussing at/about me as he walked away, but more than loud enough for us both hear. As a note? I don't wear political items, and I will never bring up politics to a complete stranger. So I most definitely did not start him on his tirade. He walked up to us in the shoe department, and very shortly started in. Very disappointed to see such bad character, and vocalizating about killing our president. Not amused at all. Especially as we had to drive 45miles each way just to visit the shop. Will NEVER visit this store again. Especially when I can go to another huge store just like it down the street.

Very poor customer service I purchased a couple of items that came to $300. When I asked him to apply the coupon, he said he couldn't because "I already had the shoes on...". Seriously? So, even tho they represent a 60 day return policy, they wouldn't honor that to apply the 15% off coupon. On top of this, when I spoke with Terrell, he became upset when I asked for his manager ( whom I found out from another employee that the managers name was Jamal). When I asked Terrell what his managers name was he said "I have no idea what you're talking about... " and I asked him what he meant by that he said for me to leave his store. I never raised my voice nor was I ever rude to him. I asked him what his managers name was and he said he didn't know. Quite shocking. My first and last purchase from Hibbett.

Anyway, I stopped in with my bow, just to double check the draw weight, after adjusting each limb bolt exactly the same full turn (12:00 noon -to- 12:00 noon). It should now be 65# maybe 64#. I asked the guy if he had a bow scale and if he could check my draw weight. To my absolute shock, he looked right at me and said, "NO!". I was blown away by his attitude and rudeness. I couldn't believe it! Maybe somebody pi$$ed his cheerios earlier in the morning, I don't know. I just stood there almost with my jaw on the floor like, "Uh, what?" Then I quickly realized this is NOT a very friendly archery shop, so I turned and walked out and put my bow back in its case in the backseat. I drove all the way up to Green Top, where the guys went all over my bow, verified the draw weight, checked it over real quick, etc...

Went in to have arrows cut and fletched and I'll never go back. First I was told it would take 3…read moreweeks, then once Rob knew I was looking at other places, 3 weeks turned into 30 minutes. I have had many others tell me the glue Rob uses is trash and many have had their fletchings come off. I asked Rob what glue he used and he proceeded to tell me he knew of others complaining about their fletchings falling off but it was the way they were shooting that was knocking them off lol.... So I picked my arrows up and in the parking lot noticed one of my fletchings was already coming off.... Guess it was something I did wrong shooting in his parking lot haha. Since picking the arrows up, I have had 6 out of 12 that have lost fletchings. I will never be returning to this shop to give Robert my money again. Not to mention he charged me $90 to cut and fletch my arrows. I was willing to pay due to having no other options but for that money I would have thought he would have done a decent job.... Robs rude and his work is awful.

The main problem I has was with the poor service. When I finally got someone to wait on me, he didn't listen to anything I said. He asked me what size I wore and I told him a seven ( Dankos 37). The seven was to large and I asked him to bring a size six and a half ( Dankos 36). Instead he had me go on the machine to verify my size which was six and a half) He then finally brought a size 36 which was a little large so I asked for a size 35 to be on the safe side. He said Dankos didn't make a size 35, which in googling I found out was wrong. I didn't buy the shoe because of the poor service.

Because of it's well lit set up and the tunes being heard from the store lured us in to see what's up. Upon walking in we were immediately greeted. And asked if help is needed to let them know. This store looks to be black owned, something I love !! So we browsed and saw some haute (hot) kicks (shoes). Sales were being offered too. Now I love a sale and from a boutique shop...that's rare. Babe found two pair of shoes and I did as well. Shoes sold here are usually not in your chain shoe stores: Athletes Foot, Foot Locker or even DTLR. The only detractors were the really strangely lit room in the back, which made it really hard to see anything, and the fact that the giant TV in the front was being used like someone's private living room. It was a little awkward when I was in there with my wife and it starting blasting while people were eating and yelling in front of it. The guy at the register was nice though, and very helpful.
