She's been at PediaPlex for approximately 3 years at this point and we are happy with all the staff and services she's gotten so far. The therapists have always been professional and eager to listen to any concerns my husband and I may have. Everyone works together as a team for the best interest of each child. We will continue driving the 40 minute drive 4 days a week to PediaPlex because it's working great for my daughter. When deciding on a therapy center it's important to realize you are part of the team working together for the best outcome. Communication and realistic expectations are essential for any type of therapy at any center to be successful.

Consistency in therapy matters so much and seeing the same therapist is of utmost importance. This is not the right way to run a business. He receives physical therapy 1x a week, speech therapy 2x weekly, and occupational therapy 1x weekly. Because of his special needs he has had numerous doctors and therapists throughout his short life, and I can say that we have truly found a home here. The staff and therapists are all very friendly and have always been really polite and understanding. They will work with you with regards to scheduling, and figure out the best options for services depending on the type of insurance coverage you have. (We have a high deductible plan, but we plan ahead and budget for medical expenses accordingly.) As a stay-at-home homeschooling mom, I am on a budget just like everyone else, but Beelieve's services are well worth it to me. My son's speech and clarity have improved so much, as well as his strength and balance. He still struggles with symptoms of his diagnosis, but the work he does while at Beelieve has helped to improve his confidence and stamina, and that trickles down into every aspect of his life! The owner, and main Physical Therapist, Joanna truly cares about her patients and how she can best improve their health and reduce the struggles or pain they may be dealing with. All of the therapists here make going to an appointment feel like playtime! Even after coming every week for 2 years, my son is excited to get up and come back! He works hard during his therapy time and earns stickers and smiley faces that he can later turn in for toys or temporary tattoos. I think the best part about Beelieve is that they really take the time to listen to me as a parent. If I have any issues or concerns about goals or struggles that my son is having, they make suggestions for exercises that we can do at home, they work in tandem with his doctors orders/requests, and they are always positive! *I recommend Beelieve to all of my mom friends, even if you're just looking for an evaluation to see where your child is at, or you have some questions I would give them a call. We attended monkey mouths for 3 years, we had a consistent weekly appointment and my sons speech did progress ( with the assistance of cochlear implants) we loved our therapist and accommodated our appointments during her pregnancies and vacations but we truly hated the management, they made our family feel like it was always a hassle with there scheduling to see him.: it felt more like an inconvenience for them to schedule him every week for services, when it was a referral from our doctor and necessary for his success .. Soooo! after year 3 .... things started to get messy... and kids thrive off organization, they just have poor management skills and the management doesn't have the tools to handle all the accommodations there therapists and customers need! The Staff is treated so poorly, and they have consistent scheduling issues, the staff has no control over there schedule and they're looking to fill slots on the scheduling sheet not so much the well being of your child..( read that again) & don't try and take a vacation because your child's appointment will never be rescheduled because they don't have availability ever! If your looking for therapy or audiology, they have great doctors but your child will probably Never see them After their 1st visit due to scheduling issues and, they pick who they want to see. My son was being seen here by Shelly for PT. Shelly was amazing every session we had with her. We…read moremight have seen one other person once during the entire time we went here. There are 2 locations and it can be hard to get an appointment at first. We were able to consistently able to schedule Tuesday appointments to keep the babies on a schedule. His sessions were on 30 minutes long instead of an hour because he was so young. Shelly taught us different exercises to help him meet milestones and she was always very encouraging. The office staff was the only semi downside. In the beginning they were not the most friendly or welcoming. After continuing to go they started to warm up and become more welcoming. There was one incident around our third or fourth session. When you start you can put a card on file so they can charge you your copay. We had gone there with no problem the first few weeks and then all the sudden I received a text stating I didn't pay for the session and there wasn't a card on file. I am not sure if they confused my son with someone else but there certainly was a card on file and they left a not so great impression to me.

She now sees Landon for speech and is about to start OT. The office staff are exceptional. They are so polite and go above and beyond to ensure you know your appointment times, that insurance is all handled. All of the staff here doesn't skip a beat! My daughter even was able to get her SMO's here which just made it so easy to not have to run around for appointments at multiple locations. I would 100% recommend that if you have a child needing therapy, come here!

Unwind Sensory Institute has been instrumental in advancing my daughter's (diagnosed with autism…read moreand ADHD) socialization skills. The sensory therapy playtimes have allowed her to develop new ways of relieving sensory overstimulation as well as shown her how to get the extra sensations she needs on a daily basis to calm anxiety and distress. We are continually amazed at the dedicated, personalized experience she receives and we love every staff member we have encountered. We drive half an hour to get there and it is always worth it. My daughter attends sensory therapy twice a week, every week. The drive time and the cost are more than worth seeing the achievements our daughter continues to make. Speaking specifically to sensory therapy, Unwind is awesome. They have several rooms for sensory help and children are encouraged to try out various tools. The platform swing is our daughter's personal favorite, but Unwind offers play to fit anywhere on the sensory spectrum. There is a water table, sensory sand, a rock climbing wall and a ball pit that plays whale sounds, just to name some of the awesome activities and tools this place has to offer. We haven't participated in the physical therapy/speech therapy/etc programs outside of this summer's camps, so I can't offer a well-rounded review of those offerings. I can say that the integrated camps have been amazing. The way the various therapies are rolled together while remaining FUN for the kids is truly awesome. If you have a child with sensory processing issues, Unwind is definitely worth checking out.
