    Undercooked CRISP bean burrito
    Stephanie C.

Decided to go to taco time for dinner because it's always good. Got out food and drove home to eat it but when we got home everything that was supposed to be crisp was not. I'm guessing the oil wasn't hot enough but it was very disappointing since we were looking forward to having crisp bean and crisp taco. This is the second time I have been disappointed at this restaurant.

    Navajo taco

After driving around this town we came across this place after spotting it off of main street. Saw a few others along interstate 15 and the 70. Stopped here out of curiosity and that we never ate here before. Also we were just plain hungry. We ordered the Navajo taco, chicken salad bowl and the crisp meat burrito. The food was hot and ok. I mean just OK. Definitely different from taco bell and del taco. The restaurant was clean and lots of room for eating. The workers were polite and nice. The price was reasonable. $15 for all the food. Was more than we could eat. The reason its two stars is because the service was good and the food was ok, but not great. Also, as we finished our meal I noticed one of the workers cleaning the self serve soda machine. Then several groups of people came in. The worker left the cleaning supplies and bucket with chemicals and spray bottle next to the utensil area. I noticed a boy having to reach over the cleaning bucket to reach to utensils. The condiments were near the cleaning supplies as well. See photo. It was then I realized how short staff they were because the cashier was running between two windows and taking orders. I think its the same one that left the cleaning supplies and probably forgot it.. Clearly this young lady was doing too many things at once. I do give her credit for not being lazy or standing around. Also, she shut off the self serve soda machine once people came in so they would not dispense soda from the machines that were in process of being cleaned. But the cleaning supplies were left there and not . In this case I hold management responsible for the training and safety of employees and customers.

Only 3 stars because they are terribly slow, but the food is good and large order was correct.

Where in Utah is Lee today?!…read more You voted for Mexican food, so I'm spending some time visiting a few of my favorite spots in Central Utah. Today's stop was right here in Richfield at Playa Azul TacoShop, where I grabbed lunch before heading out for my ride. And just like every other time I've been here... This place was BUSY! The parking lot was packed with cars and motorcycles. Local businesses were holding lunch meetings, and families were enjoying great Mexican food together. Today's pick: Crispy Chicken Taco with chips and salsa First bite? Hot, fresh, juicy chicken wrapped in a perfectly crispy tortilla. Simple, delicious, and exactly what you want before a long ride. Lee's Local Verdict: Worth stopping in Richfield for? Absolutely! Fast, friendly service, great food, and a full parking lot that tells you everything you need to know. Now I'm curious... What's your favorite Mexican restaurant in Central Utah? And if you stop by, tell them the "Where in Utah is Lee?" guy sent you! #WhereInUtahIsLee #PlayaAzul #RichfieldUtah #MexicanFood #TacoRun #UtahEats #WorthTheRide #LiveToRide #RideToLive #WhereToNext

I had two tacos - carne asada and carnitas on flour tortillas. They both came w pico and guac and…read morewere decent portions. I wasn't super impressed w the carne asada - a little dry and not a lot of flavor. But the carnitas were excellent! My son had a carne asada burrito and had the same feedback. We all felt like they were missing something like some melted cheese or something. I loved the salsa bar and when they say super hot, go ahead and take their word for it. The green super hot was hot but flavorful and the red was too much for me to handle. Last, my tacos came w lemons to squeeze on them which is uncommon - usually I get limes at other places so that was unique. I'd say it's pretty legit authentic but not quite a 5-star experience.

DO NOT eat here. A friend and I were in Richfield and we decided to stop somewhere for lunch. We…read moredecided to stop at the Days Inn and try the restaurant that was inside the hotel. My friend and I both walk in and find our seats. After we had set down I looked and counted no more than five other people in the dining hall. Our waitress was promptly at our table. Both my friend and I looked at the menus and placed our order. The waitress took our order and left. The promptness of the waitress was the only good thing that happened during hour lunch break. While waiting for our meal, my friend and I visited to pass the time away. Soon 10 minutes had went by then 15 and then 20. We are still waiting for our meal and have not seen a waitress come by to let us know when our meal will be there or what is going on. Finally after waiting 30 minutes for our meal, a waitress did stop by our table but only to sit down a bottle of ketchup and mustard and to refill our water glasses. A second waitress comes with a tray with our food on it which she put on our table and left. Finally a waitress comes with a tray which contains our meal which she promptly sets on the table and then leaves. I took a glance at my watch, 40 minutes had passed from the time we placed our order to the time that it was brought to us. I had ordered a club sandwich and my friend ordered a burger. The club was not anything big. However, the burger that my friend had ordered, was not even cooked. You could cut open the burger and see that it was still raw inside. A great host for food position and who knows what else. We got the attention of a waitress that came over and saw the condition of the burger. To be totally honest, the waitress really did not seem to be that worried that a raw hamburger was served. The waitress informed us that we did not have to pay for the meal due to the condition of our meal. My friend and I got up and left the restaurant and the Days Inn hotel. If looking for a place to eat, do not stop at the coffee shop inside the Days Inn hotel. If I could, I would give this place a negative 3 stars. Eat in Richfield yes, but DO NOT eat at the coffee shop inside Days inn. Maximus
