It took 30 minutes to get our food to dine in. Soft taco, 2 crisp tacos and a mexi fry. We asked for two water cups, surprise, they don't have a water option in the coke fountain. I first ate here in the mid 70's as a teenager, but I think I will avoid this place in the future. The cashier in charge seems a bit overwhelmed. read more

my children and I were recently visiting and they love taco time. We came in three times in one week, and I have to say the food was better than ever. I don't this I have ever receive bad food or bad customer service at any of the Taco Times I have eaten at. The only issue I have with the Richfield store is their drive through it really suck but that has nothing to do the the food and service, just a pet peeve. I have ordered a verity of what they make and they have all been good. read more

This was my second time at a Taco Time. The food seems fresher than some of the other fast food taco chains and it does not jack up your digestive system for a day and a half! Everyone here was very friendly and the service was prompt. The only down side is that they are closed on Sundays. P.S. Right across the street from Taco Time is Richfield's City Park. While the idea of eating your tacos and sitting with man's best friend in the park while traveling sounds fantastic, forget it! Even leashed dogs are not allowed in the park. No dogs....period! I wasn't going to defy the rules so I sat in the car. I did not want a tattletale to go tell the police that someone from out of state was running with a dog in the park. Decided to go to taco time for dinner because it's always good. Got out food and drove home to eat it but when we got home everything that was supposed to be crisp was not. I'm guessing the oil wasn't hot enough but it was very disappointing since we were looking forward to having crisp bean and crisp taco. After driving around this town we came across this place after spotting it off of main street. Saw a few others along interstate 15 and the 70. Stopped here out of curiosity and that we never ate here before. Also we were just plain hungry. We ordered the Navajo taco, chicken salad bowl and the crisp meat burrito. The food was hot and ok. I mean just OK. Definitely different from taco bell and del taco. The restaurant was clean and lots of room for eating. The workers were polite and nice. The price was reasonable. $15 for all the food. Was more than we could eat. The reason its two stars is because the service was good and the food was ok, but not great. Also, as we finished our meal I noticed one of the workers cleaning the self serve soda machine. Then several groups of people came in. The worker left the cleaning supplies and bucket with chemicals and spray bottle next to the utensil area. I noticed a boy having to reach over the cleaning bucket to reach to utensils. The condiments were near the cleaning supplies as well. See photo. It was then I realized how short staff they were because the cashier was running between two windows and taking orders. I think its the same one that left the cleaning supplies and probably forgot it.. Clearly this young lady was doing too many things at once. I do give her credit for not being lazy or standing around. Also, she shut off the self serve soda machine once people came in so they would not dispense soda from the machines that were in process of being cleaned. But the cleaning supplies were left there and not . In this case I hold management responsible for the training and safety of employees and customers. read more

Taco Time was just OK. I liked the novelty of stopping at a non-Taco Bell taco chain, but T. Bell is clearly superior (which is not something you hear very often). My pork 'street tacos' were the best thing we ordered. The fried burrito was pretty gross, and the 'mexican fries' are just tator tots with no special seasoning. I didn't die or get food poisoning, but let's just say this was one of our least-satisfying meals on an 11-day road trip. You do the math. read more

Given the choice between my own feces and a taco from taco time, I would surely choose the taco. However if the first option was anything even slightly more edible than my own feces, id eat that for breakfast lunch and dinner before I eat another taco from Taco Time.
