Lackluster service borderline hostile. Food bland and uninteresting. Lunch was $17. No drink. I don't know what it is but got very ill after.. don't know that there's any great food options in town .. we liked the Bowling Alley.

Playa Bonita in Arlington was great! We were greated right away and shown a table. A server took our drink order and someone brought us chips, salsa, and beans. The server was so nice and friendly and she made us laugh. She kept coming back to check on us to make sure we didn't need anything. The carne asada burrito was really great. The green sauce was also very mild. The kids enjoyed the quesadillas and beans. The margaritas were also really good. Baby was able to sleep through lunch and it wasn't very noisy at lunch time after church. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu soon.

Our second run going to this restaurant in route home after a weekend of camping. Definitely has mom & pop vibes and staff has always been great - friendly, respectful & attentive. Food is your typical Mexican restaurant but branched out for a lighter Tijuana salad with shrimp and for a light lunch was enough for my hubby and I to share. The shrimp was perfectly grilled - definitely recommend Ticket came out to ~$30 for two kids meals and the salad. The kiddos each took half their meals home, so great value for us!!!

We were in Arlington for the night. It was late but we were very hungry so we looked through Yelp to find a restaurant close to our hotel that was still open at 8:pm. Yelp lead us to Playa Bonita and we are so happy it did. It was on the Main Street of old Arlington but it had easy parking on the side of the building. Right next to a quilt store that I had visited before but we had not been to the restaurant. We got to pick our own seats and the service was wonderful. Both the waitress and the bus person were very friendly and helpful. They gladly changed up the menu for us as we don't eat meat. The best part was the Mole. We have traveled all over Mexico and I alway have the mole. Usually it is chicken mole but now that I don't eat chicken, they made it with prawns for me. It was hands down the best mole I have had in the states and even better than a lot I had in Mexico! Hats off to the chef. Plus they had delicious desserts! Not just flan and churros but lava cake, cheese cake, and several others. Next time I'm on shop hopping I am planning to stop here again. Thank you all so much!

Tasty enchiladas with chicken onions and cheese as I specially ordered. Great service and efficient!

Good Mexican spot in Arlington, friendly service, and they give you free chips with fresh salsa and bean dip which is very good. Got the Tijuana salad with grilled shrimp, which was great. Kids got beef mexican pizza and chicken enchilada plates, each with rice and beans and it was a pretty large portion for these dishes.

We love going to Playa Bonita. The enchilada is good, and my partner is a big fan of their margaritas. I like that they have complimentary beans along with chips and salsa. We'll be back soon.

Labor Day 2019. We were on one of our photography adventures up in Darrington. On our way home we got hungry and decided to stop in Arlington for dinner. We found Playa Bonita, one of the few places open. It doesn't look like a chain restaurant, so we decided to stop. We were seated right of way. Lots of voices in the back. Not rowdy, but people having a good time. I assume there is a bar in the back. I was right. I ordered an avocado tostada with no meat and extra avocados. Husband ordered a vegetarian spinach enchilada. The waiter brought a basket of tortillas chips, salsa, and a bean dip. I really liked the bean dip. I demonstrated it. We had to ask for more and the waiter was kind enough to bring us more chips too! Husband liked his meal, as did I. Everything was fresh & tasty. Waiter was pleasant. We will stop in again the next time we have another adventure in these parts!

Chips and dips were good. Rice and beans good. Tacos were terrible. My cheese wasn't even melted. Server didn't ask if I wanted soft or hard, guess I should have spoke up. Server was also not the greatest. Didn't ask me how I was doing or engage with me at all. Won't be back

3.5 stars. For $21.99 their Pork Carnitas plate was okay. Not bad but not great either. It was loaded with too much onions in the pork dish. If their intention was to cheat to make it look fuller then it actually ruined the experience.

The place was pretty packed but that did not affect service one bit. We were met by a very friendly hostess who guided us to our seats. The drinks we had were very tasty! My Nashville hot chicken sandwich had great flavor, I could have used a bit more heat, however it was still very good! My wife loved her mushroom and goat cheese pizza. Based off of their words and statements I'm lead to believe that the owner actually encourages this behavior as the bartender had no problem with me complaining to the owner. At the time, we couldn't check it out because we had our dogs with us. The name came up again at the Marysville Strawberry Festival, and when a friend was in town, we decided to give it a try after dinner. While I was born in the 80s, I wasn't exactly hanging out in arcades back then, so this was a bit of a nostalgic first. When you walk in, the walls are lined with pinball machines. There are a few other games scattered around, but pinball is definitely the star here. At the bar, I asked if there was more to the place, and the bartender pointed us to a "living room" behind the bar where you can sit and play Atari or the original Nintendo. The menus came in trapper keepers, complete with the satisfying Velcro sound, which was a fun touch. The guys jumped on the Atari first, but the joysticks didn't seem to work quite right. They moved on to the Nintendo, which was actually a Raspberry Pi loaded with multiple games. After a short stint there, we headed back out to the pinball area. I'm no pinball expert, but we happened to be there during a tournament, and the boys got schooled by some regulars, which made the experience a bit more fun. I also enjoyed the glass case filled with 80s miniatures and artifacts, and the vending machine stocked with nostalgic items like games, books, and snacks you'd expect from that era. Overall, it was a cool concept but felt a bit underwhelming. It's worth checking out once if you're in the area, but it's not a place we'll likely revisit.

Good crew here, and they manage the sometimes rough clientele with humor and grace. Cigarette and cigar smoke often blows into the restaurant from the cancer garden out back. If it bothers you acutely, this might not be a good choice. Too bad they only cater to card-playing here; pool tables and real darts would draw a more varied crowd. But I get the impression they're happy with things as they are here, and that's fine. An ok place to knock the dust off with a brew or two, and grab a decent bite, and play cards if that's what you like. If the smoke don't choke ya, it's otherwise a good dive.
