The place had great bright, clean nice couches ambiance- but it did take awhile as the only people there to actually get our items because they fill a lot of doordash tickets behind the scenes. Glad we tried, but probably going to go back to our routine spot.

Their computer system shows their inventory on the cash register, so the friendly woman taking my order knew immediately that there were no more bagels in the oven. I ended up ordering a half dozen, with the final three made up of "everything" bagels. Okay, but not what I was hoping for. This was the same deal as my experience with Surf Bagel in Milton. There just wasn't much to choose from. How they made it through the afternoon was beyond me. The only thing to do is call them the day before to ask for the specific quantity of particular bagels desired. When you're just passing through and stopping in on the spur of the moment, that is a hard thing to do. Three bagel holes for the missed opportunity.

I replied, "Please finish helping these people while I look around". The next thing I hear is: "I am going to call the police on you". I was shocked. Wait, what just happened? I am upset but calm. I will wait for them and I did. The next thing I hear is: "I am calling Cindy on you". I am confused and upset but calm. Who in the world is Cindy, lol... I turn around and she is trying to hand me the phone stating that Cindy wanted to speak with me. I am going to upload the video if the sites allow me to. I do not take the call. I am not running; I am still waiting for the police. I look up and there is the couple and they have me surrounded. The woman tells me to leave the store because Black people are usually the problem. I am calm, but I inform her to walk away from me or we are going to have a problem, she did but, not without making a racist statement as she was walking away - these niggers..... Black people will ask, why didn't you just leave, NO? Instead, I calmed the situation made my purchase, and then left. I sat outside for about 20 minutes waiting for the police, but they never showed. The employee has an issue with Black people and should not be working in a customer service role because she is a racist who is afraid of ALL Black people. I could have been murdered. During my drive, I decided to speak with Cindy about the situation. However, she dismissed my concerns, laughed it off, and made excuses for the employee's behavior. I hung up feeling that I could have been murdered--not because I was causing a scene or acting irrationally, but because the employee is uncomfortable serving Black customers. Is this still happening in 2024? This is not a safe place to shop for Black and Brown women.

There's literally a wall of all types of cakes and pies, along with multiple shelves filled with cookies, donuts, breads, baked treats. There's plenty of free parking and public restrooms. Near closing time, local folks come pouring in here to get dinner and it becomes animated. Open 3 days a week; only operates during daytime hours. This behavior was entirely unprovoked and completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone a dining establishment. What made the situation worse was the response from management. Despite the incident taking place, the manager on duty took no meaningful action to address the situation, offer an apology, or ensure my safety and comfort as a customer.
