Not bad not bad. I really like the different selections and it was easy to customize my bowl. It certainly wasn't very busy in there so I do hope that they keep this location. I'm a huge sushi fan, but this was my first time having poke. I love salmon, so i got the "Johnny Utah", with half white/half brown rice. The salmon tasted fresh, each piece melted in my mouth. There was surprisingly a good portion of salmon in the bowl. The rest of the ingredients accompanied the salmon well, and was VERY filling. Nice little place. Fresh food, friendly service and they offer a military discount too. The topping options are limited and they charge extra for a couple of them. When we went in it wasnt very busy and the workers were playing rap over the speakers. I didnt hear any foul language but it didnt go with the style of food. How does rap support your brand? The bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of parking. Overall a good experience, I'm looking forward to the new one opening in Dover so I dont have to drive so far for it. read more

Been wanting to try this place for awhile and my friend and I finally went the other nice. All I can say is yummm! All the ingredients are super fresh and you can choose as many as you want. I made my own poke bowl with a bunch of ingredients, sushi rice and half salmon/half shrimp. For sauce I couldn't decide on just one sauce so I ended up mixing sweet soy and ponzu sauce. We got a lot of food for what we paid for which is awesome. I think I found my new take out place :) can't wait to come back and try different combinations ! read more

Bottom line I don't know why I did myself such a disservice by not trying this spot sooner. I had the high tide bowl which entailed chicken, shrimp, edamame, corn, avocado and pineapple over lettuce and brown rice. The aioli sauces had great flavor but there was a tad more aioli than i think I'd care for however it didn't take away from the dish. Overall the bowl was extremely enjoyable and I'll definitely be heading back to try all the signature bowls. read more

When this place first opened, it was fantastic. 5 stars. The bowl was filled so high you could barely get the lid on. Hired help was very friendly and welcoming. Life was good. During COVID they let their workers go and that's when things changed. Now the price has gone up and the portions have gone way down. Now when I order a bowl the portion only fills half the bowl. To make matters worse the Asian girl, who I assume is an owner since she is always there, always has such a non caring couldn't be bothered I don't need your business attitude which really bothers me because I really enjoy the food if not for the tiny portions and bad attitude. Wish they would just learn to be more considerate of the customer. Trying to save money by cutting portion size while increasing prices and a bad attitude is a recipe for failure. It's only a matter of time before the business fails as customers will slowly stop patronizing the place. Minor fixes will go a long way. read more

Just realized that this spot was here in Middletown. All I can say is that it's definitely my new fav place for a deliciously fresh bite! I had salad as a base topped with seaweed salad, pickled ginger, green onions half spicy salmon the other half tuna, sprinkled with sesame seeds and drizzled with the wasabi aioli. Ordered on line at 10:30am for 12:30Pm pick up for 9 people. Arrived at 12:25 to pick up food and was told it would be 15 minutes. Waited 20 and they still had not started the order. They still had at least 5 orders ahead of ours that were not even started. Piss poor performance, not ready to open back up. Very Disappointing. To add insult to injury. I asked them to cancel my order and they assured me they did. I received a notice this morning that they charged my corporate card anyway for $82.50. Not cool Poke Bros. read more

Poke Bros or Poke Joe's im not sure. Just like Globo Gym's biggest rival I felt my first trip here was just an "average joe". This really concerns me, most restaurants start of strong and tend to start down hill. I ordered a custom bowl and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of fish they use. I hope this is a staple for their business moving forward. Unfortunately, the tuna was the only bright part on my trip. It all started when I could not figure out how to get off the main road and in to the parking lot. That is not their fault though! (I did not factor that in to the review) The location seems perfect for their targeted clients considering it is next to an orange theory. It is obvious they are looking for weirdos cuz orange theory is just weird. Nonetheless, i was severely underwhelmed with the ingredients they used. At other poke places i have been to they have way more options to choose from. Three options i chose were all just blah. Edamame and corn weren't the best ever but the avocado was atrocious! Such minimal effort was put in to my bowl and i was disappointed by that the most. Prices were a little high for middletown delaware but nothing outrageous. I've waited in anticipation of the opening for a long time. I even posted on facebook about it multiple times and hyped it up to my friends. To prove a point that i am not "salty" about not winning a free bowl i am still willing to give them another chance and hope to update this review some day but until then 3 stars! read more

I have been to both Middletown and Dover location. Inside of store is clean and plenty of room. I feel the cost does not cover the amount of food. Both times I have gotten a build your own bowl, ingredients are fresh and tasted great. I just can't get past the price. Will not visit again based on cost. read more

My husband & I dined here on 3/28. We asked what they recommended and ended up trying the Hula Bowl and The Duke. The Hula bowl won our taste buds over The Duke. I believe next time we eat there we will create our own bowls. Service was fast, friendly and helpful!
