I got food poisoning from the Nutella açaí bowl and I've been sick since. Not the best experience

I loved this place so much, I went back the next day! The açaí bowls are fresh and flavorful. I…read morehave a peanut allergy and felt safe eating here. They have peanut butter on the menu, but the employee went over their cleaning and possible cross contamination protocols. There are some tables inside and outside and they also serve coffee, tea, and premade items. I will be back!

Goji has been open on Asbury Ave for a couple years now but I had never tried it until my…read moregirlfriend suggested we get juice for breakfast. Even though I feel like juice is a silly breakfast, I agreed and we drove in to town. Inside, the place is spotless. I know it is new but they d a really good job of keeping the place clean. I have actually never seen it all that crowded and I wonder if it is the location or healthy nature of their fare that keeps people away. I got a vegan granola bar and "Kooler" cold pressed juice. Both were really good and the juice came in a jar that can be returned for a discount on a future purchase. The granola bar was different but tasty. It was very crumbly so don't expect to eat it while walking or driving. My girlfriend got a "Red" bowl that was big and seemed to be very filling. The food is somewhat pricey but you definitely get large portion sizes (of the food at least). Hopefully, I will return. I am torn on whether I like having these new, upscale businesses in Ocean City. I certainly like having an upscale small business right in the heart of town, but I have a feeling that bougie places like this are a sign that rising price are here to stay in OC. If you are a local, give this place a try! They also have great coffee.

Wow talk about hi prices. We are down the shore but seriously. If the food was fresh or even good I…read morecould understand it. I got a breakfast bagel sandwich and the bagel was so chewy I had to yank if from my mouth and nearly dislodged my expensive orthodontia. Seemed to be microwaved from the freezer. And the eggs, come on, frozen egg patties? At these prices. McDonalds uses fresh cracked eggs for their egg McMuffins. Tasteless. I only stomached half and forced it down. This place is supposed to be a high end cafe and serves Dunkin' egg patties. Act like one.

We were also hoping to pick-up something to use for dinner. After a quick look around the store we were quite shocked at the prices. Two chicken burgers (just the patties) were $24! Quickly we decided we would not be getting anything for dinner, but we still wanted to try a smoothie, having felt the smoothie bowls were okay last year when we tried them. While, we did order at different times under two different payments, we seemed to be forgotten about while waiting in line. Eventually when we did pay there seemed to be poor communication between the workers. I ordered the High Tide smoothie and my friend got the Blue lagoon smoothie. As soon as the smoothies were handed to us, my expectations plummeted. Instead of a nice thick smoothie, like you would expect from a place that specialized in smoothies and smoothie bowls, the smoothie had the consistency of water. At first I just thought they were over-blended, but upon my first sip I was extremely disappointed in the fact that I just spent almost $12 on what tasted like almond milk. I am guessing the smoothies contain very little of what is listed in the description and is mainly the milk and ice. Overall, this experience at Aneu was one of the biggest let downs I have had while eating out and I will definitely not be returning.
